That's one clean cadillac for being a 1996 with only 17000 miles on it that's basically a brand new car off the car lot my dad had a 1972 brougham it was a gold cadillac with a 472 and paid only 50 cents for it a 50 cent pice it was a old guy that owned it and told my dad if you gave me your 50 cent pice it's yours so my dad gave it to him my dad told me it had 80000 miles on it but my dad turned around and sold it for 100 dollars 💸 because it had broken down this was in the early 90s and my mom had owned a 1995 cadillac de vill it was pearl white with a golden trunk rack it was a beautiful cadillac because when the sun shining on it it would be different colors and my mom last cadillac she owned was a black two door they both had north star engines but my favorite car is the Lincoln Town car My dad had the Cartier that's the top of the Lincolns it has the all the options in them Lincolns and my dad a 1981 Lincoln town car mark 5 that had a 302 in it it was brown it was a very clean car that car was made the same year I was born and my grandparents had a 1999 white Lincoln town car with crome door trim I really enjoyed watching your video thank you from Missouri
Nice car! I’m on my third 1995 Brougham. The first two were Calypso Green. I would definitely recommend tinting the windows as these interiors are easily sun damaged. I’m sure you’ve heard this a million times, but when you’re ready to sell, let me know.
Yes, I will tint the windows. I have had 1 1994, 1 1995 and this is my third 1996. My 1995 had the V4P option and even being a Brougham, it had the vinyl top delete option. If I had my way, no car would have a vinyl top. In my opinion they just add nothing to the lines and looks of a car. BTW one of my previous 1996s had the V4P option as well. The real plus on those is the more heavy duty transmission and higher cooling capacity. I can live without the 3:42 rear end ratio though. The 2:93 ratio gives enough "grunt". Heck, even my 1994 Roadmaster Limited with a 2:56 rear has plenty of grunt.
The last Fleetwood and it looks like a tribute to this model over the last decades, there is something special about this car. I remember when I was 15 years old and I saw this car on a street for the first time, black and shiny I could hardly keep my emotions. And I live in Ukraine, the car was like an UFO. My friends couldnt understand my excitement. It was in 1996. My absolute dream car. No car looks like this and this green colour is fantastic.
I know the feeling when seeing a car strikes you so. I had this feeling back in the 1970s when I saw my first 1957 Thunderbird parked in the street of my small hometown.
@@MostlyBuicks It doubles the emotions when you dont even expect to see this car on the road because it is from another side of the planet. The same impression made only Town Car which I saw also couple of times in those days. The nineties in post Soviet period were great times for a teenager (who is a petrol head). Lots of unknown and unusual cars appeared on the roads.
Gorgeous car. I had a white on blue 95 with 31K miles, sold it while in Germany with 49K miles after I had a job lined up in the states. Planned on getting another since a lot of low mile examples were available. Job fell through and I watched many low mile roadmasters & Fleetwoods come and go so I decided the next low mile one to come along I’m getting. Got a 20 year old 96 roadmaster with 22K miles and the tow package. Bought from the widow of the original owner after he died at 92 yrs old. 41K on it now and got back to the US last year. Still want a 96 Fleetwood and your color combo is what I want or white exterior. Got to have the chrome wheels though. Beautiful car brother…just awesome.
I have a 95 Cadillac Fleetwood brougham with 64,500 original miles and it's a lowrider but the frame has not been cut. Meaning no hydraulics.... It's my baby girl
Nice Caddy! I love my CTS4 with the luxury package. Yeah, it's a later one so it's downsized....but it's still a Caddy with all leather interior and every bell and whistle you could get. Many years ago a good friend of mine had a 75 Caddy with the 472 V8. Talk about a boat! You could park a modern day car in it's trunk! Back then gas was barely over a buck a gallon so it wasn't bad. Today that car would bankrupt you. It got about 8-10 mpg in town on a good day.
I do not understand the horror stories about big cars in the 60s and 70s getting 10mpg. I have a video of a 1976 Sedan DeVille that got 12mpg around town and 16mpg on the freeway at 80mph. I have another video of a 1970 Electra that gets`14 town and 17 mpg on the highway. I have owned 83 cars in my life and I calculate every tankful. My late father had even more cars than I and he calculated every tankful. No guessing. We each have had plenty of land yachts. His 1970 Electra Limited got 18-19 mpg on the highway.
Great 96 Fleetwood. Yes, it was the end of the line for Roadmaster, Caprice and Fleetwood, V8 rear drive full frame. Too bad, heck we even went thru another sad time in auto industry, the demise of V6 sedans! Honda killed off V6 Accord in 2018, Buick axed theirs in 2019 with VW, Chevy and Caddy Feb 2020 and Toyota recently announced Avalon being cancelled, so no more V6 Camrys either. I scooped up a last Gen V6 Impala in 2019 before they started cutting back on options for last 1/2 yr. Neat feature of your 96 is last year for glass headlights (I had a 96 Buick Ultra with glass headlights).
GM introduced the 2 door hardtop in 1949 and discontinued that body style after 1972. They introduced the 4 door hard top in 1955 and discontinued that body style after 1976. Wouldn't it be fantastic if GM reintroduced these body styles the same time they brought back the convertible in 1982? Man I would LOVE a 1994 Buick Roadmaster Limited two door pillarless coupe without the door frames (two door hardtop). Yes, it is a lowdown dirty shame that sedans and coupes are falling by the wayside along with V8s and even V6s. They are opting for turbo-charged 4 cylinders. Then comes the electric cars that burn fuel oil, coal or natural gas remotely. Even though I have owned otherwise, I prefer V8 RWD American cars. And my first preference for body style is 2 door hardtop, followed by 4 door hardtop, then two door coupe, and lastly 4 door sedan. (Convertibles are simply for pleasure drives).
Since the age of 16 I’ve been in love with this generation Fleetwood. You sir, have the most beautiful classic car in existence. Congratulations and I hope you enjoy it!
I have a 95 Fleetwood(it is called a Fleetwood) with the VP4 Option(towing package) which gives it a 7000lb Towing Capacity. Part of the Package, is 3.42:1 rear axle, so it is quite quick off the Lights. Car currently has 16,000 miles on it.
LOL (It's called a Fleetwood) Yes, the V4P option is amazing. It puts the Fleetwood in competition with the Impala SS with added luxury. I have both a 95 and a 96 with the V4P. Both were Broughams, one had the vinyl roof delete. I wonder why in the heck I sold that one. I do not like the vinyl roof and I prefer the Brougham over the base model. The bald Broughams are rather rare.
Got the 94 one from my sister. Getting it back in it’s prime . Nothing major minor fixes. She just gassed it and went. Luckily didn’t put too many miles on it .
Hey man, good job showing off this beauty! These were Big, Plush & ready to serve those who could afford, ive always enjoyed these along with the '11 town car, sadly there won't be any more, was a great American Icon don't you agree dude....
Absolutely Beautiful! This is a True Cadillac the best of the best. I once owned a sapphire blue one just like it less the CD player. 96 was the best year in my opinion. It was the best Cadillac I ever owned.
This is the first of your videos I have seen. I too live in Tucson and enjoyed watching very much. I love a lot of the older full size cars and look forward to watching more of your videos. Would love to own one someday.
Welcome to my small channel. I do this for fun (cars and the videos). You may notice I have a few other car videos. My favorite is the 1970 Electra convertible. I hope to make more videos from time to time. I have a 1970 Riviera to be delivered from Kentucky in about two weeks. I probably won't get around to making a video of that for a few months.
I work at Enterprise from 97-98. My favorite car in the fleet was the DeVille. The reason was I owned an 88 DeVille small body from 97 to 99 and a 92 Seville from 99-02. I miss them both
I had one like it only in white and it's nice to see the car came from valley Cadillac here in Rochester New York where I reside let baby's been around the country more than I have lol beautiful car though
I have had cars from the 50's, 60's, 70s. I totally skipped cars after 1976 through 1993. The late 70's and the 80's generally sucked when it comes to cars (great for music though). Even when new you just do not see these Fleetwoods in AZ. They tend to go to Chicago, Boston, New York and Dallas, and when owners retire to Florida. Here in AZ plenty of DeVilles, Sevilles and even Eldorados from the 90's though.
1. Everyone loves Cadillac’s (whether they admit it or not) and 2. you can be correct and pronounce it “brome” if you want, but we all know it’s more fun to say “bro-ham”.
I know a 1957 Eldorado Brougham has a stainless steel roof. If you are talking about the B-pillar on these cars, that would be an aftermarket accessory.
93 through 96 rear wheel drive full size Cadillacs were indeed the last of TRADITIONAL Cadillac class. Had a 93 Brougham. Nice car, BUT as second owner was disappointed. CD didn't work, driver seat back peeled, and rear wheel wells rusted through.☹️. Currently have beautiful low mileage 2007 Lincoln Town Car Signature Limited ♥. Will keep it as long as I can still drive. 🏆. Previously had 89 Brougham deElegance with plush velvet interior, SO superior to my 93. Never should have let it go. 😢.
@ 4:25, that is a service replacement part, its not original to the car, look at the date on it....10/06/08, I can also tell you by looking at that label that it come out of the GM Philadelphia parts distribution center.
My wife had one of these as a stretched fleetwood limited, northstar engine 79k or something similar it drank gas but had fold out air line style trays in the backseat. Great car that got ruined by salty roads.
@@Fractal_blip I lucked out so hard. I owned 6 NorthStar cars, not a one blew a head gasket. All but one leaked oil though. The one (1996 Deville) that didn't leak oil went to my son-in-law. When he sold it, it had well over 200K miles on it. I had 4 98-99 Aurora with the Autobahn option and a 2001 Eldorado ETC. That ETC was FAST and got well over 25 mpg on the highway. In fact all the Northstars I had got very good fuel mileage. My son-in-law now has one of my favorite cars I have ever owned. A 1994 Roadmaster Limited with cloth interior (rare for a Limited) and the V92 tow option.
Very nice car. I have a 95 DeVille my mom bought new ,its nice also 60k,small 4.9 V8 but fwd. probably hurts value a lot ? Any ballpark on its value ? I also have a 96 LT4 corvette with 52k. Enjoy these now old cars.
1995 was the last year for the 4.9 in the DeVille. 1996 DeVille had the 4.6 Northstar. The DeVille Concours featured the Northstar a few years earilier. I really like the 1996 Corvette. I have never owned a Corvette. I have owned several 1956 and 1957 Thunderbirds however.

Loved the video on this one and the Amethyst colored one. Any tips when shopping for one of these Fleetwoods? Trouble spots to be aware of? I'm starting to look pretty seriously. I know the optispark distributor can be an issue. Any other stuff to watch out for? Thanks!
Mechanically speaking, very little problems I have encountered. The clips that hold on the lower trim break and mostly the rear quarter trim can fly off if they do. I guess some people have trouble with the rear most exhaust manifold bolts breaking. The knee bolster panel under the steering wheel tabs often break if you remove the panel. The fender apron extensions just behind the front bumper is made of very brittle plastic and are often cracked or missing completely. For some reason the Roadmasters have a better type of plastic there. The rub strips are impossible to find replacements for. Fortunately the 4 fender chrome spears that crinkle have aftermarket aluminum and stainless replacements to the tune of $400-$600 a set.
Absolutely. Corvette has 4-bolt mains, aluminum heads, hotter cam, stronger valve sprints. 300 hp at 5000 RPM, 340 lbs-ft torque at 4000 RPM. Fleetwood, Roadmaster, Caprice has iron heads milder cam. 260 hp at 5000 RPM torque 335 lbs-ft at 2400 RPM and 330 lbs-ft at 3200 RPM--a nice flat torque curve to move that mass.
The color is called DGGM - right? Dark Green Gray Metallic. My god, it fits that car just SO good 😍 What a Cadillac. Love it! I'am driving a 1992 Caprice Wagon, which came originally in DGGM but was someday repainted... On a day with enough money and all... i definitely will getting it re-paint to it's orig. color. 🙌
Wow!!! At least grab NOS rear shocks and the chrome side moldings if they still exist. I have a gray ‘85 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz and by the time I acquired it in 2010, all the NOS rear shocks (Delco), opera lamps and windshield moldings were long gone. You’re going to also have a hell of a time finding 235/70 R15 whitewalls. I never cared for the Vogue gold stripes but Diamondback Tire will customize some whitewalls for you for about $300 a pop. GOOD LUCK!!!
It had original tires when I bought it. No issues. I have personally changed the transmission filter and fluid, the differential grease (some call it oil) and other fluids. Got an alignment, and so on. I had to replace the antenna. Now everything works.
Great video awesome car I still want to get one of those. Wish I done so when they were easier to find in good order like this. I test drove one of the roadmasters i want to say in 95 great car. I agree Buicks usually don't and didn't get the attention they deserve. That fender extender had a 10/6/08 sticker on it though.
Oh. I did not notice. Just went out and looked again. Both sides have been replaced. The associated parts (like the wind deflectors that attach to these extensions) do not have stickers. I guess the originals started cracking. Weird thing is Roadmaster's equivalent parts are made from a different kind of plastic that does not deteriorate so readily.
Yeah all the other GM divisions have a great following. I had a 1963 Wildcat two door hardtop, loaded, buckets, A/C power windows etc. It was the Rose Mist Poly. I called it the Pink Panther. EVERYONE thought it was an Impala, Oldsmobile or even a Pontiac. Sure Chevys are popular because that is all most people could afford back in the day. Cadillacs are famous because of their top dog luxury reputation. Olds had the 442, Pontiac the GTO, but not until recently have people discovered the Buick GranSport. I will take a Buick over any of them, generally speaking.

if you’re looking for used cadillac check this car out. i bought a 96 riviera from this fella. nearly 27yrs old and every single thing on that highly optioned personal luxury works perfectly. when he says something about a car he’s selling you can believe it.
@@Turtlepaparazzi as you know, it’s all true. you expect a little bs when buying a used car but everything he told me going into this purchase has been proven correct✌️
Mine is for sale in silver spring MD. White on white top. 175k miles no issues. 1995 model.$3k. Lmk thanks.
Lots of unknown and unusual cars appeared on the roads.
what a car! you sure are lucky to have it. hope you enjoy it for many years to come. cheers!
That's the plan!
AWESOMENESS 👑👑👑😁👑👑👑
This amazing car is living proof how over regarded Rolls Royce are! This looks totally unique nothing comes close o this design and HUGE!
Yes, after driving my Fleetwood, when I get into my Roadmaster, it feels like a small car.
Love the interior with the wood panelling.
Beautiful car
The condition is amazing for its age
Thank you. Well, in my opinion you did very well getting the Roadmaster.
What a beautiful ride!
I have a 95 Cadillac Fleetwood brougham with 64,500 original miles and it's a lowrider but the frame has not been cut. Meaning no hydraulics.... It's my baby girl
I own a 96 Fleetwood brougham 22 inch 150 spokes and vouges and a big daddy crome grill burgundy with tan interior!
Sweet.... very nice shape... enjoy
I like the color combo. Very nice. Let me know when your ready to sell it. Been looking for one. Enjoy the ride....
In a week or two I will have a video of an amethyst 94 Brougham, another rare color.
Gorgeous Cadillac.
Beautiful. Absolutely love that car! Stunning color!
Thank you, this one of my favorite years and I hate when people say “bro ham”
Almost as bad as Jag U ar or Jagwire.
Hard to find mid 90s Caddies in this condition.
And I was not looking. I just noticed a UA-cam video. I have a link in the description of the video that compelled me to buy it. He is a good guy too.
I’ve been lusting after these cars for years. Last of the breed!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😀👍👍👍👍👍 Supper classic avto..
I've got one a 96 Fleetwood brougham and I love that car 22 inch spokes and vouges!
Thanks for sharing - very enjoyable and interesting.
Glad you enjoyed it
Got the 94 one from my sister. Getting it back in it’s prime . Nothing major minor fixes. She just gassed it and went. Luckily didn’t put too many miles on it .
wow me to can you help with somewhere to get parts
Hey man, good job showing off this beauty! These were Big, Plush & ready to serve those who could afford, ive always enjoyed these along with the '11 town car, sadly there won't be any more, was a great American Icon don't you agree dude....
Mo' debanaly.
Beautiful car ! 😊
Gorgeous!! Truly the last of the best!
Wow it looks like you went back to 1996 and bought and then brought it back the present.
I have a 95 fleetwood brougham, white on white top. 175k miles no issues. She's for sale too. Located in silver spring md. $3000
Would you have a listing with pictures somewhere?
Absolutely Beautiful! This is a True Cadillac the best of the best. I once owned a sapphire blue one just like it less the CD player. 96 was the best year in my opinion. It was the best Cadillac I ever owned.
Beautiful car. And i love your Buick as well
This is the first of your videos I have seen.
I miss them both
how much u wanna sell it for ?
Absolute Class ! Beautiful car indeed.
Absolutely stunning
I had one like it only in white and it's nice to see the car came from valley Cadillac here in Rochester New York where I reside let baby's been around the country more than I have lol beautiful car though
My favorite cadillac since I was a kid. 90's were great
I have had cars from the 50's, 60's, 70s.
When GM used to build big comfortable land yachts.
Yes, the last TRUE Cadillac.
Absolutely Gorgeous Fleetwood. !!! Wish i owned her. 👍🇺🇸
It's your car but I would put a dash cover to save it from cracking . I had a 94 yours is beautiful .
It is garaged and seldom driven. Yes that huge dash pad is like a hotplate when the sun hits it.
@@MostlyBuicks I miss mine . It got totaled .
Love that stainless steel they put on the bottom and sometimes the roof.
I know a 1957 Eldorado Brougham has a stainless steel roof. If you are talking about the B-pillar on these cars, that would be an aftermarket accessory.
@@MostlyBuicks not yours in particular.Yea the Eldorados had em.I had an 82 ,some of those Eldos had em.I loved that 82,I wish that had an LT1 in it.
Cool. I uploaded a video on my white one. I love the colour of yours.
Great looking Cadillac ! These GM B body cars sure have class . I own a 1981 Oldsmobile Delta 88 sedan , in which is based on your Cadillac .
Fleetwood with a northstar?
@@detonater1348 In 1999 they made a stretch DeVille and called it a Fleetwood. It was FWD with a Northstar.
@@MostlyBuicks thats the one! My ladies grandmother got it from a funeral home in butler, pa. They had to get rid of it, a true mechanics car imo.
The car you’re talking about is nothing like this. Just a desperate attempt of a fleetwood with a Northstar
Valley Cadillac baby! Rochester, NY
Is it a well known dealer back there? I seem to think so.
Heck, if I didn't already own it, I would buy it!
That’s an awesome dad joke that I will use in the future!
What’s your longest toad trip with it?
@@kipdiggs1827 500 miles (so far).
@@kipdiggs1827 650 mile trip in my 1995 Fleetwood. I flew to buy it and drove it home.
Imagine sitting in the lap of luxury in one of these babies.
Anyone who knows anything about Cadillacs know it has the venerable lt1 v8 detuned.
My god, it fits that car just SO good 😍
What a Cadillac. Love it!
I'am driving a 1992 Caprice Wagon, which came originally in DGGM but was someday repainted... On a day with enough money and all... i definitely will getting it re-paint to it's orig. color. 🙌
This is called Calypso Green.
I miss the floating soft ride of these older cadillacs
I much prefer 235/75 R15 tires on my full sized GM cars.
Looks fantastic! Any deferred maintenance issues? Oil changes (diff/engine/trans), tires etc?
Beautiful car!
Beautiful car
Beautiful!
Sweet!
Great 👍🏼 🇺🇸
Last full frame Cadillac... What about the... Escalade 4x4 ???
Full frame sedan
Yeah, that's a truck.
What do you think about owning a 1990 Cadillac deville 4.5 ht 4100 do you think it’s a good engine and transmission?
Not a fan of that engine.
These Fleetwood Cadillacs were built at the Arlington ,Texas Plant because they were Rear Wheel Drive! After 96 that plant became a G.M Truck Plant!
Awesome Cadillac Fleetwood those cars Were mostly built in Arlington Texas its ashame that GM gave this platform the axe Gms reason was that those cars were no longer marketable plus the sun and truck craze was the main focus
This is beautiful 😍
I currently own a 2005 STS which are Rear Wheel Drive also!
Yes, Cadillac made other RWD cars since 1996. But they did not make full frame cars after 1996. My statement referred to RWD, full frame, V8.
What a treasure!
94-95 were the last years of real quality gm cars.. I had a Bonneville sse that was the one last bad ass gm cars that were built.. quality style and finish
Bought a 93 Deville with that color. What is the name of that color?
Calypso Green It is mentioned in the video, it is in the thumbnail and it is in the description.
Nice !
Your LT1 on the b and d body were slightly detuned than the corvettes LT1 the corvettes had aluminum heads yours has the traditional cast iron heads they were great engines
True, all the better for low RPM torque, I would not want a Corvette rever in these big cars.
Brother had one in champagne color freaking beautiful car and the motor had some punch
I had that color in a 1995 with the V4P package. IT WAS FAST with the 3:42 gear ratio. I sold it because I could not get the smoker's stench out of it.
I'd definitely tint the windows from the sun dry rotting the leather seats and warping the dash board. Beautiful car love it
I tend to go in that direction. However this car is seldom driven and is garaged. But I will probably tint the windows sometime soon.
I just tinted the windows today.
Still for sale
This car is not currently offered for sale. However, my 1970 Electra Convertible is. Check out the video on my channel.
Are you in Vegas?
