The fold is just an amazing device, I can't put it down, I had the S22U and although a good phone, there's nothing that special about it. The pen is way too skinny on the S22U. I love to draw and write stuff down so Im one who actually used the pen. I find myself drawing now with the fold and I never use to do that with the S22U.
Great video with covering everything. I was hoping for a little more video shots showing the video immersion comparison. Like watching Netflix/UA-cam on the ultra vs the z fold 4. I know the screen is bigger on the z fold but with aspect ratio you don't get to use that whole screen so seeing them side by side would show a lot of us who watch a lot of content what to expect! I see you also opted to go with the graphite phone with the graygreen case. 👍 I have a few gripes. It does take some adjustment, but I do find myself using the front screen more often. When it comes to typing, I've already become accustomed to the split keyboard because of my Tab S6. However, the issue I have is that SwiftKey isn't supported across the main screen and cover screen. What I mean by that is with the Samsung keyboard, it will detect and remember the keyboard mode you set last for the mode you're in. With SwiftKey, it uses the last mode set regardless of the screen you're using. I find the Samsung keyboard is not as lenient or predictive as SwiftKey. There also moments where switching between modes is not detected so I have for force stop the app and re-open (Chrome will display some websites in desktop view when using the cover screen until force closed and re-open). Using the standing case from Samsung, you can never really get a balanced, flat sitting when using the main screen. Is annoying when trying to take notes. I also have found my pen use much lower because it is huge and creates a weird feeling for holding the phone when that attachment is connected to the case. Greatly reduces the balanced feeling and is a minor inconvenience to constantly remove and reattach to charge the phone on charging stands, prop the phone on itself, or use the cover screen on a flat surface. Love the responsiveness, feeling, and versatility.
Just got the Fold. So far I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it. I find it cumbersome to use. The screen orientation does not work well at times in some apps. The front screen is still too narrow. Still not comfortable to type on. Instagram looks weird. I will keep it for a week and see if I change my mind. I'm already tempted to just use my S22 Ultra again
Sounds like for your usage the S22 Ultra might be a better fit. For "normal" usage the S22 Ultra or any normal size device will be a better experience. If you want a better multitasking experience or bigger display on the go then the Z Fold 4 would be a better experience. In my opinion.
@@TacoTechTalk... It's great for viewing content because of it's big screen, but due to contents not fit for its orientation, it kind of ruins it a bit. It's a compromise device just to have something cool and different. But I will give it a week and decide.

Great video I have an s21 ultra and the z fold 4 its awsome i can basically do everything I can do on my s21 ultra on my z fold 4. I mainly use my s21 ultra for night pictures and video and when I'm going to be in places that there might be sand or a bunch of dust. Or if I want to take pictures with a bit higher quality. I use my z fold 4 as a mini laptop since the inner display is so large its definitely easier to edit video and pictures also 8ts great for multi tasking. Of course gaming and watching videos on the z fold 4 is a much better experience. The cameras on the z fold 4 are ok they preform better in daylight or well lit environments so I mainly use it during the day. It just depends on what you do with your phones. Great video

Love my fold 3 and my flip 3. I wish I could use my fold at work but I can't so I use my flip by day my fold by night. And weekends are lit! Trust the s22 ultra amazing but so is all the other phones in that category. This fold though ......if you know you know. Life changing
They should've made the fold a bit wider when close, and having an S-Pen shouldn't have been a question. Seems like a heck of a lot of innovation, with poor implementation.

I can't guarantee that it will last 4-5 year. In my honest opinion, I want to say no. There are countless of users who have shared that their display has cracked after a few days, weeks, months, and years. But also a lot of posts of people saying they're still going strong. From my experience. My fold 3 after one year had some discoloring down the middle crease with the screen protector starting to peal. On my fold 4 right now, I'm starting to see the same discoloring down the middle that I was seeing on my fold 3. But no actual crack
Watching media and playing games can be a really great experience on the inner display. But for social media, I find that if you watch a lot of say tiktoks, shorts, or reels or anything of that format then I found that some of the video either gets cut off from the sides on the outer display or the top and bottom get cut off from the inner display. In general social media consumption isn’t my favorite thing to do on my fold. That includes texting too, its still a little to cramped on the inner display and then a little to wide on the inner display. Do you multitask at all? I find the fold is the best device to get for those who love to multitask
I'm considering to get a used samsung galaxy z fold 3 can't afford the samsung galaxy z fold 4. I did owned the samsung galaxy s22 ultra but returned it back due to the so so speakers and battery life. Is typing on the front screen on the fold 3 really that bad and if so should I get something else? Enjoy your UA-cam videos very informative
I actually bought a renewed Z Fold 3 512 gb for less than $900, off Amazon and it was literally in brand new condition, so I was impressed by that. I returned it cause I was just curious what condition they came in. But for me yes typing on the cover screen is not comfortable, the inner display is better but also not the most comfortable. Imo. You could always try it out for yourself by going in store or getting a renewed one from Amazon since you have I believe 30 if not 90 days to return it .

22 ultra strong@camera spec but phone factor are boring, fold 4 can be regular slim phone / mini tablet form which is 22 ultra don't have, but it camera is decent, good for regular used.

You could do a comparison between a professional photograph/photo editor using a phone camera vs a normal person using a professional camera.
