Thinking about it even at this price, but what I loved the most was that the Thing was *not* carplay. It was always/only music. When I needed nav, I mounted up my phone, and they were 2 different screens and devices, never any conflicts or context switching.

Do the wires have to stay visible?

That's why I never use streaming. They can always pull the plug and then you're gone.

I switched to a fold 5 3 days ago after using an iphone 13 pro max for more than 2 years. A total night and day when it comes to having fun and the technology difference from both devices. The iphone was a good phone but super boring to use that I had to enroll to the beta hoping to get updates sooner but at the cost of depleting the battery health way quicker. My fold on the other hand is super fun to use. Multitasking is awesome and this is more snappy than the iphone. All in all I'm loving my Fold 5 and I'm glad I switched.

I recently bought it and even though I really like it, i can't get it to charge to more than 14 watts, I read on reddit than you can only get it to super fast charge with the original charger only, does anyone know if that's true??

Actually, the OnePlus 13 is releasing globally and in North America in january. That's only a few weeks away. Still, I've been using my 12 since February and I love it. Although, I'm still picking up the 13.

In the UK , the 12 cost a lot more than in the US , other than the screen and cameras , i would say it is not much better than my oneplus 6 i upgraded from. The loudspeaker is not good , jbl apps don not work on mine , apps and location issues also , even after recent update . Not worth the price in UK , .

I'm using Oneplus 12 till today. After ColorOS 14 updated to Color OS 15, I've fallen in love more and more. The new widget, app management, speed and camera are beast.

Don't buy OnePlus 12, it has so many problems mainly the curve edges , battery and screen

As great of an option this is, I would rather splurge for the OnePlus 13. The Snapdragon 8 Elite is a game changer!

I really needed to upgrade my phone as it was on its last legs. I have a OnePlus 5T and its very old now. I wanted the OnePlus 13 but I live in india and Its coming quite late here so I went ahead and bought the OnePlus 12. Love the phone❤.. plan on using it for 4 years.

I bought it, I returned it. It's nothing special and its so small. If your 5'9" or below, perhaps its fine but ya... its fine but there are more comfortable chairs out there.

Phone cameras are exactly that...phone cameras. You should never expect a phone to take professional quality photos. If you want that then get an actual camera.

I, too, was surprised how small it is as it always looks enormous in the publicity photos.

Still rocking my Fold 5, and hoping that the Fold 7 will have the design of the Fold SE that sports a bigger inner & outer screen. While still keeping the S-Pen support for the inner screen. Plus a real flagship grade cameras and bigger battery capacity. Fingers crossed.

Great video! I can get the pixel 8 pro (128gb) for 475 euros (~$500) and the oneplus 12 (256gb) for 640 euros (~$670). Both devices are new. What do you recommend? I don't use my device for games or social media. I mainly use it for calls, browsing, google maps, e-banking and photos.
