    Hi I'm new to blender and I have a question it may sound stupid, so do you delete the sculpt model after you are done with retopology? If yes then how do you maintain details(like nerves and small insertions) in low poly model? Btw great job on this.

      Hello thank you for your question, it's not stupid, it's a good question. After retopology I keep the sculpt so I can use it for baking maps for example normal maps those retain the most details so if the sculpture has scars, pores, veins etc they can be baked into the normal map then applied to your retopo version. It's not mandatory to keep the sculpt after you've baked all your maps, you can delete afterward but only if you're certain you won't go back to either bake a new map or rework an old one. There's different kinds of maps but the most essential for those details you want are the normal maps. I hope I answered your question. Thank you for the comment and feedback. Really appreciate it.

      @@lwitiko_the_creative a response right to the point, really appreciate it , you definitely helped and cleared some of my confusion, I was stuck in my 3rd day streak because of it now I can continue the journey, God knows where I'm going to get stuck again, anyways subscribed.

    How do you rig your characters

      I use rigify, the Blender add on. I tweak it the suit my needs, maybe it the character has a Cape for example or four arms. But for this, the default set up was alright.
