Boy Luke was lucky to find such an energetic, artistic, wonderful wife to keep up his old pile.
Julie and Luke are so awesome! As an American I am so proud of Julie’s enthusiasm being a caretaker of such a beautiful home and property! Her and Luke are so hands on in doing projects! They work so hard! Congratulations on what I’m sure will be an amazing visit for the Americans! Way to go!!

Dearest Julie and Luke, Lord and Lady Hinchingbrooke, I was so very touched with this video. Here in Portugal the Count of Calheiros upon opening his beautiful family home for visitors was asked if he felt somewhat ashamed. He replied never ashamed, but proud as he was keeping with the inheritance he was given. He was continuing the history of his family.
For those of us that share a deep love for History and historic houses this is such a testimony of love to Mapperton. The great care you had on each and every detail. The care and love with which you both tour us through you home on this video is so nice and warm we feel welcomed at Mapperton somewhat like if we were there with you.

You home is lovely! We own a bed and breakfast in Kentucky. When you have lots of visitors, may I suggest that you put glass tops on your important furniture, also a cloth on your table to prevent rings on the table. This is just to protect your treasures! Again, beautiful tour.
Call me Goldilocks, but I’d love to spend a night in each bedroom and test out each bathroom. They All look lovely. I’m drawn particularly to the Victorian and Garden bedrooms. The Tudor bedroom is really nice too.

I first learnt about the 4th Earl of Sandwich at school in the 1960's , growing up in the North East of England. It has stayed with me all this time including about the origin of the sandwich!
It clearly made an impact then and I am thrilled to be learning more about the Montagu and Mapperton history, and the American Viscountess perspectives on your fascinating channels. I find it incredible, even all these years later, to be able to visit Mapperton both in person and virtually, it's exciting! Thank you for another interesting episode.

Your life is like a fairy tale! But not many fairy tales talk about the HARD work involved. You do. And just look at the wonder your beautiful manor house is now! The Earl and Countess must be SO HAPPY and PROUD to know how much it really means to you and Luke. And your children, hopefully, will come to understand all you have accomplished and be so grateful for your conscientious determination for their benefit and for the generations to come. The most Beautiful grand house in Britain not just because well Maperton is our favorite because of how relatable you both are but it gives this nostalgic Harry Potter and Hundred acre wood vibe. Absolute magical.
Luke and Julie you must build a online aesthetic presence of Maperton. Please please you must. A Pinterest and IG world. Please make reels of your cottages and of essentially every aspect of Maperton in a fairy tale sort of aesthetic.

At a National Trust Property I volunteered with, they used holly leaves on a square of clear acetate on the chairs to deter people. The plastic was to protect the seat from any dirt or scratches from the leaves.

You both have done a fine job of making a place for every visitor. From the high end to the low end, you have made it so a person can pick what price range they can afford. I just love the single rooms. I’m single and that would be a great pick for me. Don’t get me wrong. I would love to stay in the high end bedroom. My fave part, if I came, would just looking at all the paintings and history of your home.
