Thank you for such a detailed explanation. I'm confused, but then I am always at the beginning. I I try it an watch step by step it will click.( I hope.) As you explain it I understand. It's just me,sometimes my brain works backward. You did a wonderful job
Thank you!!!!! I have never really liked any of the other ways, people typically join squares for an afghan. But, I really like the way this one looks and feels. I will now create more squares for afghans as I finally have a good way to connect them.
Thank you so much. I have looked for a easy join and one that didn't have ridges and looked fairly easy to do and you have done it. Thank you so much. I'm ready to get to work on making some granny squares to join.
I had never joined squares begore. Your tutorial was very east to follow. A couple of my inside corners are a little wonky but I'm very happy with my blanket. I loved this join and will continue to use it in the future.
Awesome instruction because you showed and explained things very clearly. I think this could become a favorite join method for me because, like you, I really like that the joining stitches show diagonally between the squares.
I like using the block sequence that you do and so that I don’t forget. But sometimes I get messed up and turn the squares around. So to keep track of what is the top row I use markers so that they all go The same direction when crocheting them together
Great video! One of the best (if not the best) I've seen of this type of join. Thank you so much!! I will be using this for my Stardust Melodies blanket too.
I have seen this done in another video with DC and on last round. It kinda got a little confusing. I love the way you explain everything in all your video.
How about joining different sized squares? For example I have larger rectangle blocks in the middle with a smaller square block border. How would you join an inside corner to the straight side of a block?
@@everytrickonthehook4304 thank you for your help! I've been practicing all night...and guess what??? I finally got it 😁😁😁 Love your videos!!!😘 Be safe
Great video. I did my outside corners the same as inside corners....then when I edged in single crochet I incorporated bother ch 2 loops into 1 single crochet decrease. Second SC row around made this look virtually invisible. Less bulk. No keeping track. Tee hee. Just sayin
Absolutely beautiful but sooo much unnecessary talking. Please stick to the topic of what your doing now. Talk about the next things when u get to them. I'm so confused bc there's wayyy to much talking about things u haven't even gotten to yet.

This video is pure gold
Il try this in joining the 2 edges of a Grandma's Double Thickness Potholder instead of whip stitching it together. Thank you.

Oh my goodness, I've been struggling to figure this out but you made it so easy!
I agree. Just found this tutorial always struggled with this method but this is a simpler but thorough tutorial. Thank You.
Just what I was looking for! Thank you for all of the details and explanations.
I'm so wishing I had seen this tutorial before I connected my squares. I'm doing this from now on!
Great video and explanation of this join. I will definitely be giving this a go for joining my next Stardust Melodies blanket. Thank you!

I like this join. I think the video would be more helpful with 9 squares instead of only 4. But thankyou!
Absolutely brilliant - I hope I can do this when I need to JAYG - thank you!
Love the way this join looks, need more yarn
Love this Method 💗 Thank You !!!

Great video! I have a question...I'm using the same color for all of my squares...do I have to cut yarn after EVERY square??
With this method, yes. I haven't seen it done continuous or come up with anything myself.

Do you think this would work with hexagons?
Hi Polly.. quick question... how many single crochets do we place in each corner of the first square?
I always do (sc, ch2, sc) in the corners
Asm😊
Maravilha👍🧶
Easier to watch than to listen to so I turned the sound off.
