Very underrated spoof movie. Really glad to see first reaction to this and not dismissing it as cash grab even though it was a bit but there was lot of effort on it. might be wrong about this but everyone on cameos were on board and didnt demand much money
"Nice weather? You think we're having... nice weather? I guess you didn't lose the only one that meant anything in your life. I guess you don't feel burned out by the human misery and despair perpetrated by the criminal vermin that infest every pore of this decaying city, forcing you to guzzle cheap wine and cheaper whiskey to dull the pain that shatters your heart, rips at your soul, and keeps your days forever gray. What flavor Icee you got today?"
First off there IS a LW 2 - as for Destiny Demeanor - Kathleen Marie Ireland is an American author, entrepreneur, fashion designer, philanthropist, and former fashion model. Ireland was a supermodel in the 1980s and 1990s, initially known for appearing in 13 consecutive Sports Illustrated swimsuit issues, including 3 covers
Yes that had a LOT of known-at-the-time folks pop in. "Scotty" because the baddie is Kirk. Charlie "Hot Shots" Sheen. The CHiPS guys. Never knew of this movie - until now - ty
Wow what a surprise Bravo for doing a reaction to this great spoof movie truly one of the best :) . You don't need to watch Lethal Weapon 4 because I think this movie came out before this move. I also recommend you see the underrated Silence Of The Hams a really great spoof on Silence of the Lambs and Hitchcock movies . You are missing allot of the jokes :) . The scene where all the cops tried to look at the girl skirt was a spoof on a very famous scene from the movie Basic Instinct. Also the girl is a supermodel called Katie Irenland.

@@FlixTalk With pleasure. Yes, free choice ^^. Surely there are many more, some German titles were the same or the main title, occasionally it could also be that even the English title is different in the original, or I only had the German title at hand. I rate this movie a 3.5 out of 5. I think it's really good, not great. If you ever watch the movie The Last Action Hero 50% of that movie is like a copy of Loaded Weapon 1, and they both came out the same year. Crazy cameos in both movies, F. Murray Abraham, the actor who played Lecher, he was in Last Action Hero but as a different character. The police captain was also in Last Action Hero, Frank McRae, and he played almost the exact same part, the cliché fed up police captain! Not only that, McRae played the police captain in earnest in the movie 48 Hours and I think that's what both Loaded Weapon 1 and Last Action Hero were spoofing on. Weird. You do know that Charlie Sheen And Emilio Estevez are actual brothers right? I was just wondering. If not.. Charlie Sheen's real name is Carlos Estevez.. but took his dad's stage name Sheen.. as in Martin Sheen.. Cause Martin Sheen is actually Martin Estevez! Emilio is the only one to keep his real last name... Crazy huh?!

I saw this in the cinema three decades ago and have a soft spot for it. A few of the parodies are lazy (The Wayne's World one adds nothing) or poorly done (the Jaws injury conversation spoof is done much better in Kevin Smith's Chasing Amy), but the one liners in this film are absolutely top notch and up there with anything out of Police Squad. I giggled the whole way though. Favourite moments. The Mr Potato Head being arrested in the background, and "Weren't your parents supposed to do that" response to being asked "give me a name!"

Love this movie. Destiny Demeanor was played by former supermodel Kathy Ireland. She's my favorite member of the cast (for obvious reasons).
The Captain and the guy who killed Mozart from Last Action Hero are on this. Wow. I haven't seen this flick in 30 years!
Great first time recation I always found loaded weapon to be a very underrated spoof movie
Hilarious!
Never saw this parody before but I am amazed at all the celebrity cameos in this film! I will put this on my watchlist!

I'm pretty sure Bruce Willis is not in the credits. I know that's him, I used to own this movie on VHS, so I checked the credits for his name. Weird.
There's a deleted scene here on YT with a cameo from Christopher Lambert.
I gotta find it!
You definitely have to see "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka." Parody of crime / martial arts / blaxploitation movies.
@10:39 The one on the far right is a close friend of mine. Good person. Hard to not smile when she’s around.
You’ll see Kathy Ireland (the supermodel) again when you watch Necessary Roughness.
The “gratuitous beaver shot” scene was all a reference to Basic Instinct.
The " 1 " in the title was meant as a joke as there is no "Lethal Weapon 1", but 2-3-4-...
