    Hi Brent, thank you for this very helpful video. Can you tell me who CLA’d your camera? I’m having trouble finding someone willing to work on this model

      i had the same issue unfortunately the man who did it passed away last year. I found him by recommendation from people on some film camera forums so i would say ask there, there also seems to be a mechanical camera repair businesses that comes up in NYC but im not sure they will work on it. These cameras are notoriously hard to fix. Depending on whats wrong it might not even be fixable due to there being no parts at all for them. As it was I got lucky and he was able to find some springs that worked to get my shutter speeds accurate

    Hello, from where can I get that film load?
    What kind of film does this camera support?
    Thanks and very useful guide.

      The size of the film it takes is 120. A lot of camera stores sell it but I mostly buy mine from Amazon. There's a few different brands that will look different so just buy a few and see what you like

    Can you explain how to unload the film as well?

      After you shoot your last picture wind the roll all the way untill its fully on the take up roll. You will feel it when its done. Then just pull the roll off being careful to not let the roll unwind. 120 film has an adhesive tab on the end. Use this to seal the roll until it's developed. Due to the paper backing on the film roll this doesn't need to be done in the dark. Hope this helps

      brent bousquet thank you! I can’t wait to use this camera. I was wondering if you also knew if different film cameras models make a difference in quality or is it dependent mainly on film stock and lens quality? I was looking to purchase an RZ67 or Pentax 6x7 in the near future.

      @@demonshadow913 I also have an rz67 it's very good. The lenses make a big difference but the mamiya lenses are nice so your all good there.I converted my rz67 to digital, I was thinking of maybe making a video on it.

    Are these v mount?

    • @brentbousquet
      @brentbousquet  4 роки тому

      No they have a different mount. It's the same as the previous version which they made before they had to stop production because of the war. I think this was the last camera they made with this mount. It's one of the reasons they arent more popular. There is still some nice glass for them though. I have a few zeis lenses that are nice.
