I used to chip out with a three wood, but I often end up deeper in the woods than you were in the video and discovered the ball was getting too high and hitting trees. I have since begun chipping out with my driver and I am always able to keep it below the branches and find the fairway again.
I have the same problem you demonstrated - a tendency to push my punch shots right, when I hit with my woods like that. I know I've got to be hitting on the wrong line but it seems no matter what I do to align the shot, the same thing happens on these half-shot punches. Why would that be?
Another great tip along the many that have been majorly improving my golf game. If I ever make it to St.Louis I’m buying you guys a steak dinner. Thank you.

Great video! Where is the ball set up? Center? Thanks
Yes center or 2 inches forward
