I love OP so much, lmfao. They’re so down to earth and chill, seems like they’d be a great friend! The male Au Ra stereotype does make me sad tho 😭 I play one and I’ve had people actually be mean to me right out the gate in party content solely because I’m playing one. Recently this pair of (I assume) friends in a roulette spent the ENTIRE dungeon, deadass a full on 20+ mins, shitting on me and accusing me of trying too hard to be “cool” and all this stuff just because they didn’t like that I played a male Au Ra and had a slightly edgy portrait. Like it was crazy excessive. I was really nice (in retrospect too nice bc they were huge assholes) and joked around w them too because I wasn’t taking it seriously, but they kept mocking me to each other in party chat and only addressed what I said to make fun of me more. They even tried to involve the third person in our party and get them to mock me too, and tried to imply I was mentally handicapped, and all this crazy stuff. Literal mean girls behavior. It was wild, lmfao. There have been a few other instances too, but none as bad as that. Some people rly do treat you different just because of the type of character you play ingame, and it’s craaazy. Not saying OP is out here mistreating people just because of their characters tho of course! Just some people are wild about it fr.
Damn that sounds awful. I mentioned the stereotype in the interview but I don’t actually think all male auras are bad and no one should think that either. 😢
That's awful! Can confirm it happens though as I've been male au ra before. Lalafells catch a lot if the same shit too. It's weird that people act this way honestly. Poking innocent fun is one thing, but some people just don't know when to stop. Lol
Pathra, thank you for allowing others, and myself the opportunity to get things off our chests, and share our perspective on some of our experiences ( the good, bad and ugly). I genuinely appreciate you so much, and I hope that more OP's also open up to the idea of doing interviews. I want to remind everyone that you never know what type of energy you may get in response to your stories, but that's to be expected. If you're being genuine; you have absolutely nothing to worry about. That being said, I want to thank all of you guys for the love. Truly humbled, and I appreciate it dearly. One last thing to clarify, I am a guy (since birth), my voice is just reaaaaal sexy 🤭 REMEMBER TO KEEP THAT RED CHAIR BY YOUR NAME SO BITCHES CAN HAVE A SEAT!
Broooooooooo, Rem, as a fellow person that likes to be an open book, you have (even though you been had it the 1st time) earned df outta my respeck. BEST BELIEVE I'M GON' BE AT THAT PODCAST WITH THAT RED CHAIR FO' SHO 🤣🤣🤣 Edit: Only unfortunate that you're no longer in Primal, but its all love from across DCs 1🙌🏾🙌🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾
Omg, can y'all start a podcast please? You can discuss drama stories or random FFXIV topics. I feel like that would be so entertaining with both of your energies and perspectives. 😂❤
I have to disagree with OP about not confronting situations or people, we owe it to ourselves to investigate and find out truths if it means peace of mind. If you can move on easily the way OP did, not making a big deal about it then by all means leave things as they are. BUT if we learned anything from the TikTok 'Who TF did I Marry?' Sometimes investigating and getting to the bottom of things can save you from even more chaos down the line if you decided to bury your head in the sand. Whats important is in how the opposite party responds, if they are willing to give information or not and if both parties are speaking respectfully to one another. Its a different story when the confrontie starts by accusing blaming and harassing the other party. So yeah thats why I disagree, imo staying quiet not doing anything is the worst thing a person can do, ofc being respectful
I agree, especially when the other person might also think they are in a monogamous relationship with that dude and you could be helping them find the truth also. I know the truth can be hard to hear but I still think it's better than living a lie.
@@LinkIsMine yes exactly, its why I think finding out the truth is important. We won't always know all of it 100% but its important to fill in as many blanks as possible to unravel the lies or secrets. But again always be respectful and mindful of the situation.
I wanted to know who the room mate was if they ever talked about them but the impression i got is the room mate was super doubtful to have existed so thats fair 😭
she is the most self aware boss girl grass toucher oc from these stories and we should learn from her haha unbothered and straight to the face and also at the end being cautious with more than friends relationships in game cause common sense is after seeing weird shit with couple you want to avoid them
