ya la gran mayoria que estan en el documental migrando son centroamericanos y sudamericanos ya para la gran mayoria de los mexicanos el sueño estadounidense es una falasia. la migracion ya no es como antes como lo hacian los migrantes mexicanos que por lo general tenian pariente o familia donde llegar ahora esas carabanas de migrantes que parecen de ganado quieren llegar a los estados unidos y que les den comida ospedaje y casi que los lleven a buscar trabajo, con tanto migrante la economia en recesion rentas altas ya solo quedo como un sueño para la gran mayoria.

No. 1 Mexicans aren't Spaniards nor Natives, they are of mix ancestry, basically they are half Spaniard and half native (it depends on the region, there are more-spanish regions and more-native regions), that's the reason they speak Spanish. On the other hand, Mexican culture is the same case, half and half. So Mexico and Spain are really close related. It's not adopted but derived.
No. 2 the United States did not help Mexico gain independence. As far as I know the only help Mexico received during wartime was against the french and that was 50 year after Mexican independence.

It's a complicated issue, immigration.
It’s not complicated. We (the US) are a nation state like any other.
We have immigration laws and people need to follow them and no amount of gas lighting about white nationalists is going to change that.
Just ask the black residents in some of these inner cities, they are at their wits end and it wouldn’t be the first time when Spanish speaking illegal aliens have run black Americans out of their neighborhoods.

So tired of hearing this for 50 years and I am sure it is true. However if the USA had a more equitable system it would not allow labor to be valued by slave labor. If there was a living wage in the USA and employers were not allowed to use undocumented labor, companies would be able to find a way. Of course companies would get labor by moving to a third world country using all sorts of international hijinks. That’s what happened when unions took over our labor market. It would work. There aren’t enough jobs for all the migrants streaming in. So wages even for labor slaves will go down. But government costs will rise and taxes will rise. So in end only Big Money will profit. I have family on both sides of the southern border.😊

There are people living in mud stick homes with no running water or electricity, no medicine or access to medical care in Mexico.
