I use data links all of the time for my work. You can also please with the Special Paste function as well. They can also be scaled to fit your space as well.
Thanks for easy explanation.. :) I wanna ask you, if i linked a (x-y) table from excel to ACAD as your method. How can i draw X-Y curve from table moved from excel to ACAD ?
Very good explanation! Do you know how to extract cell value from a linked excell table and use into a dynamic block (mtext, text or value)? Thank you in advanced!
Hi! Thank you for your interest in my video! I don't think I've ever done that exactly but this video might help..it's from a former co-worker of mine Donnie Gladfelter who is super knowledgeable about AutoCAD and this may be what you're looking for ua-cam.com/video/a0IN5V5uRRs/v-deo.html. Or, you may be looking for a Block Lookup Table....here is an awesome video that describe the process of setting that up: ua-cam.com/video/cYZGh70ttF8/v-deo.html Sorry for the delayed response, I've been super busy with on line training lately. Thanks! Daron
Hi Gladys, if the table is Linked I don't think there is a quick easy way to change the entire table to use fonts and colors that are different than those currently in the Linked Excel Table. I think the fastest way to achieve what I think you're looking for is to edit the Table in Excel to use Fonts and colors that are similar to your standards. Otherwise I believe you'll have to make the changes on a cell by cell basis, at least that seems to be the only way I was able to do it in my experiments. Sorry I don't have better news than that for you. - Daron
@@daroncaddmoore2123 God day Daron, thank you so much for your response. I appreciate it. I'll just edit in excel for now because it becomes a tedious exercise when edited it cell by cell in AutoCAD, especially for tables with a lot of data.
Nice presentation of autocad! Cheers mate!
Thank you ..Very useful. Love from India..
This information was very helpful. Thanks
Thanks Koolkat2904!!
