How to reverse this process
I want to reflect any change in autocad drawings to excel sheet , for example if any modifications done in dwg file it gives me a notification in the excel sheet

Hello, I have a quick question if you happen to read this. Is there any way to pull the data from an excel sheet. Keeping it updated as the Excel sheet is changed. But the table in autocad is able to be overwritten as far as text style and case sensitivity. Without having to change the Excel sheet? I hope that makes sense.

I have a data link that I want to remove it from the drawing. With the data link command open. I right click the link the file I want removed and tell it to delete, it give me a message saying: "THE DATA LINK IS BEING USED AND CANNOT BE DELETED". I can delete the object from the drawing but the link is still showing in XREF pallet. I will give me the same message, stating it is being used and cannot be deleted. Any suggestions?
