I love the ITF Pro tae Kwon Do, I wish it was around when I trained in ITF. Watching the fights I can see that full contact fighting skills still needs development here. It's not a critique, just a genuine observation. Because there were no full contact fighting options at the time 1980s/90s within the ITF organisation, I went on the study Muay Thai, Kickboxing and Jeet Kune Do. I took some really good kicks with me though. Opening ITF pro internationally will definitely improve the distancing and timing aspects of the style and diminish the semi contact 'muscle memory'. I've never studied Kyukoshinkai but it's a style that has REALLY encapsulated the full contact gi/dobok combat style - the lack of head shots is a flaw - but, the general levels of full contact intensity are unmatched in that kind of tournament fighting. Overall - THIS is the TKD that should be the Olympics. WTF lost its mojo at the end of the last century - before politics and money/advertising became involved.

Yes, but if you like a world fullcontact TKD franchise you have Kombat Taekwondo wich allows ITF, WT and ATA taekwondo practicioners
