Okay so after making this I realised I never actually did a video on thras, only on the sloads. If you wish to know more about Thras you can watch this video: ua-cam.com/video/P6IyRy-4Sag/v-deo.html Btw I dont feel like this video has turned out good, what do you guys think? Was it fine? I was experiencing mic problems so you literally hear my annoyance in the video haha. Sorry about that.
Imperial Knowledge I would like a video on thras but just love geographic lore in the elder scrolls series in general more than most other subjects which is incredibly ironic because earth geography is one of my weakest subjects haha. So I vote for more geography videos in general! I thought the video could have been slightly more polished at a few points but it honestly didn't negatively effect my enjoyment of the video. Hope that helps.
I truly hope they add some sort of sailing exploriation. People managed to add a limited form into skyrim using mods, and I hope that gives them inspiration
I can see that if the game takes place in Hammerfell. It may be just be DLC, but given the amount of islands and piracy in the provenience it would make sense. Maybe you can even have a quest that follows the legendary exploits of Cyrus the Restless, the main character of Redguard
honestly with the lack of information on it I wouldn't doubt that it got hit really hard in the sea of ghosts calamity that destroyed most of winterhold and basically nobody lives there anymore
I wonder what type of people live on the 3 eastern islands. Are they human, elven, some type of known or unknown beast race? I assume Roscea is inhabited by nords of some type.
If the lower half of the map is jungle, that means it’s probably near the equator. So there’s potentially even more stuff below what we know right now, and possibly to the left and right as well. Sweet
In Skyrim no mods you can actually get to Roscrea's far west end, with lost of will power Arvak mount and boots of water walking you can get up the cliff actually onto the island. But will be greeted by an invisible wall. Is all just flat snow land as far as the eye can see. Keep going north from the college of Winter hold and you will find is. If you hit a barrier first turn west. Is has been a year since I whent there but I'm sure that's how I always found it
Would be pretty interesting if those two islands mentioned first basically continued Third Era-levels of prosperity and built a decent quality of life with their own Emperor.
Man hat island of retired Morang Tong assassins must have been/be THE safest place to live. If Argonia could push back a deadric incursion, then im sure they could too.
Roscrea is so cool to me. I really hope the Beyond Skyrim release of it comes out next. I like the idea of this in-between of Skyrim-Atmora culture and vibe, yeah they're the same folks I guess but Roscrea must be different and unique in some way
Wow, that was a dig bick move, man. You that read wrong. That awkward when you read that wrong too. I think you just added the word _moment_ to the last one...
Okay this may be better for the discord, but what races live on those islands between Tamriel and Akavir? It says there are Princes and rebellions so it’s obviously advanced intelligent races, but they aren’t from Tamriel, and here is no evidence they are making the Akaviri races either...? But in the lore it seems they are a type of man or mer. Is there something I don’t know?
Perhaps. I doubt the Argonians would put together a navigational expedition large enough to create a settlement though. Seafaring doesn’t seem to be their thing. And the Prince’s name Bashomon doesn’t seem Argonian or Dunner in nature. But who knows ?
It kinda bugs me that much these places are not even on the maps. I get that an element of mystery is good for a setting to keep things interesting but they could at least show precisely where they are and how large. This is just my opinion.
Have u ever make a video about daedric princes? I found them so cool ´cause they all seems bad.. but some of them are actually good.... in their particular way.

I didnt hear any annoyance

It wasn't bad, you just didn't have much to work with
The Morag Tong retirement island sounds like a recruitment add lie by them.
Thank you farengar very cool.
holy shit i knew his voice was familiar somehow
his secret identity is farengar!
Haha
Can't...unhear...

By Azura!
Anyone else want a Black Flag style Elder Scrolls game? Where you have a ship and you sail between the different islands and port towns of Nirn?
I truly hope they add some sort of sailing exploriation. People managed to add a limited form into skyrim using mods, and I hope that gives them inspiration

👍 Exactly what openMW is for.
We’ve been talking about something similar in OSRS for years. Looks like it might actually happen.
Absolutely, TES needs more spin off games like that
fun fact
Atmora
Roscrea
Estronit
Pyandonea
systres & pankor
all these are in progress mods for skyrim
this channel is going to blow up when TES6 comes out
Ya in like 10 years.
@@roscoe416 ya mean 2 or 3? It was started in 2017 and most of the games were made in 5 6 or 7 years.
@@sweden7675 Bruh I am gonna be 21-23 when it comes out. Yet It doesn't matter anyways because I quit play video games about 2 months ago.
Roscoe Bosco why?
@@sweden7675 lmao it's still in design phase unfortunately, said by Todd recently
Can't help but wonder if Bethesda remembers that any of these exist...
Islands? I call them DLC's.
lol sounds like something ZeniMax would do and there chapters....
I mean.... Islands do make good DLC.
Woah! Todd Howard watched the video!
Sailing mechanics with an open PVP zone would be kick ass on those three islands.
I call them Todd's ATM's
Hopefully in the elder scrolls 6 we'll get more lore on these islands, its always interesting to learn about these islands.
It's always interesting to learn any new lore tbh :D
Sloads don't get enough recognition, you betray my soap making people by not supporting thras rights.
#justiceforthras
@@ImperialKnowledge the only Justice I have for these immoral abominations of the sea is cold steel and magical flame balls
aysseralwan think just some salt would do
You realize the Sload make soap out of their own offspring, right?

My honest reaction to that information
🗿
Roscrea could've been nice a DLC area to visit. Maybe we'll get to see it in 6?
honestly with the lack of information on it I wouldn't doubt that it got hit really hard in the sea of ghosts calamity that destroyed most of winterhold and basically nobody lives there anymore
Summerset is just a snobby island and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. No body high and mighty on this hemisphere excepting the Jarl
Beyond Skyrim I’m so excited!
A cut above the usual brutes the Jarl sends my way huh?
I wonder what type of people live on the 3 eastern islands. Are they human, elven, some type of known or unknown beast race? I assume Roscea is inhabited by nords of some type.
Yeah I have the same questions. Would be really interesting to learn about these Islands in some sort of dlc or game
Unfortunately we dont know anything exept for fan interpretation
Right. Too bad the devs didn't go into any specifics about the islands. Thank you for the fun video!
Can confirm there is now modding teams for both Cathnoquey and Esroniet, both of which have human settlers called the Kepetu, and Esri
@@manlikemars2929 that's non-canon stuff
I didnt even realise there were other islands so even though you didnt have much info on them, I feel like I know a hell of a lot more!
Hopefully we can see the Nedes on Herne in TES 6
old comment but nedes arnt a race they were what the elves called the humans before the atmoran invasion of skyrim
@@ciaranmck4469 Nedes were a race. The Forsworn are the only Nedes left.

Thanks farengar for the black soul gem and for this 👍
We should have a naval exploraation and battle system in TESVI
I agree

Same, imagine living in that place hahahahahaha
Each one would make an excellent speed bump on our way to Akavir. Akavir or bust!
Why is this age restricted?
Are those dammed Dark Elves behind this!!
Wait what? It is?
Nvm its fixed now

Would be interesting to hear your take on the teaser trailer just released.

It’s starting to bug me. Why does Zork always put ‘gullible’ in literally all of his descriptions?
Holy shit I'm retarded

Hahahahahahaha
Theres a project covering the isle of esroniet it's pretty cool
What’s it called
Then they all got swallowed by the Sea of Ghosts, and transported to the time of Redfall in DLC content.
Beyond Skyrim Roscrea
Why does zork always say "well it's actually quite interesting" I think that should be your catch phrase.
Have You Seen Those Redguards They Have Curved Swords, CURVED SERDS!
Roscrea is fighting for indepidence from the East Empire trading company
Its Farengar holy shit.

5:36 that islands actually named after a real town. Its pronounced as Ross Cray
You forgot Olenveld.
Awesome video
if the continent is that big that planet must be super small
What about Kenarthi’s roost? What about Betnik?
They were in games, just like stros mkai and solstheim
Oooh gotcha! You said that. My bad
What about BleakRock Isle? It seems it's forgotten, there are no mods adding this Isle from ESO to Skyrim
isn't there an orc island called betnikh in eso?
Betony is a holding of daggerfall I believe but some orcs in the second era temporarily took it over.
Great vid
What is the red dome on Nirn?
Ooga booga go back to yokuda
IC23 😂
Argonaia or Morrowind cant possibly have took the eastern islands.
Are you saying the Lizards CAN'T swim?! Cat you're Fucking Crazy....I suggest laying off that Skooma for awhile!
They're nationalist
So? If they extend their borders then they can be Nationalist in the new territories too.
That was revenge
