We live vicariously through our Kids-- Antelope canyon in Page was much easier but you had to pay admission for a Navaho guide. Well worth it--And they bussed you to the entrance!!
Any vehicle can make it but the washboards can be pretty rough. There was sand as well but not deep enough to get stuck. I've driven this road twice. The first trip in October of 2022 was really rough. November of 2023 the road was a bit better. I actually saw road graders out there so maybe they are doing more road maintenance?
@@NotDeadYet50 Life After 50... I can attest to LIFE AFTER 70. My wife, daughter, her three school-age children and I were nearly rear-ended by a semi-truck going 50+mph last Friday. My unsolicited advice... Live life like your time is about up. Enjoy life. Be kind to everyone, even those who are annoying. Forgive others, even those you feel are not worthy. AND acknowledge our CREATOR who died for us.
They told me German, that the body of a fat man is hanging there between the stones. I didn´t believe it. I think they told the story of the fat man, because not so many tourists shall go there!

Been in several slot canyons , and done some spelunking but nothing as extreme as that ! Well done, wish we had this stuff in Scotland
