- The Assault class is overall a basic class at first glance, but when you dive in to the class, you see that the assault class has a lot of potential. The class, once you level up, gets more and more powerful as it goes. Leading up to the level 9 “raider” class. There is a lot of tools to use for your one goal with this class. To destroy the enemy. This guide should give you some ideas of how to run the class and show you what you have to look forward to. Leave a comment down below.
I was making this video before update 14.5 so there will be a couple more “*Note” bits than normal because i didn’t feel like redoing several parts of the video just for that.

The lvl 6 grenadier loadout is a must for airheads or big pushes. Run in and provide smoke cover as your whole team joins you then spam grenades once close. Ask supports to drop explosive ammo once closer to refill. The lvl 9 raider German loadout is the BEST in the game. The STG is just unfair. You can charge in and then satchel the enemy or just go tank hunting. Building nodes is definitely the way to go to lvl up and something you should always be doing anyways.
Thing I love about assault, it works well in both offence and defense.
The g43 for example can one pop soldiers, if you're patient and accurate you're essentially a sniper minus a scope.
Then you add grenades and smokes.. its awesome, you aren't able to do any of the logistical bits but you are fully capable of clearing out a position within 10 seconds of advancing.
Recently started the assault grind and your video has been a HUGE help. One thing though is grenades, i will throw like 10 of them a match and only get 1 kill with them any tips on how to use them more effectively?
Thing with grenades is that it’s a bit of a dice throw, because you might not even kill the enemy depending on circumstances, I try to use grenades as suppression weapon. Grenades are decently effective in bunkers and in urban settings
Assault is my favorite role to play as. I often run out and take out enemies. But I had a game where I used the hammer and helped out the engineers build a blockade to keep enemies out of an objective area. I love the rewarding feeling in this game from helping out the team

That's how I play. Both things you just mentioned. Obviously depending on the game mode but I love to run and gun and when we have to defend a point help build whatever engineers setup. Fun role

I think of the assault as contrast to MG. Assault is for someone who is mobile and pushing, whereas the MG is for someone who is static and is holding.
Automatic rifleman is for close range combat whereas rifleman is for mid to long range, but both are mobile.
Engineer and support are entirely strategic roles and should never be played unless you have a strategic goal. - that said you should always have a strategic goal for your squad. Beyond this - lvl 3 engineer should be for dismantling enemy positions and attacking, whereas lvl 1 is for creating friendly positions and defending.
AT, for me is one of the worst played roles, being that the AT should be constantly flipping between classes and saying, "we need a close range solution (satchel), a medium range solution (rockets) or a long range solution (cannon)".
Medics are redundant and only useful if your squad leader won't play OPs the way they're meant to be played.
But seeing as 90% of squads don't even lay garrisons or use flanking manoeuvres, the above is a nuance that people just won't get ;-)
Understandable to all of this, assault is super versatile especially once you get that satchel charge, but even if you don’t have it, it has plenty of options
Just tried assault yesterday. More fun than I thought it would be. Most of my time was spent suppressing a choke point so my team could advance. Bad side. You run out of ammo quick and I'm starting to think most rifleman don't realize they carry ammo.
After 2 years, I finally have AT level 6.
Level 9 assault has me by the balls now to try and get.

I’m playing on console and I kinda suck, I’m rank 75! But I’m on an old plasma 60 inch from 2014. As far as console goes is there an ideal size tv?
I thought I got back to this, I have a 4K TV (I think 55 inches) it does me pretty good, I think it’s more of a personal preference though
Does building nodes and swaping still work? I thought they patched that, and if not that's great.
I don’t recall them patching it, it should still work, as you rank up and probably doesn’t feel like it, but as long as you are earning points, they’ll go to the class you are playing.
How you play assault right is you wrenis the enemy...
