I just know Martina definitely overworks herself to get all these video out for us to enjoy. Just want to say it's 100% all worth it as it always brings me (and I am sure lots of people) happiness watching these video ❤
travel for me is no longer an option, so riding along with Martina is just as nice if not nicer, no airports or crowds, just a private tour with our mostest favoritest hostess, Kween of King Kogi Martina. Bigg Huggs !!
Thanks Connie (although your name currently says CG cl9fn...but I"m pretty sure you're Connie from your picture...) it was tough with the crowded nature of this marketplace haha but we worked hard to capture all the realistic vibes
@@KingKogi oh yes it’s me! At some point UA-cam auto changed my username 🫠 but it’s so sweet that you recognise me!! ❤️ I can imagine it can be so hard to film with so many people around, but the way you’re able to capture the realistic vibes and squish them with your sparkly magic vibes is my favourite part of your videos! Hope you’re keeping well and well done again ❤️✨
I’ve been following you since the Kpop era 🥺 And seeing you thrive and always being who you are is always inspiring Its my dream to move to japan Will include all these places into my bucket list for sure❤❤❤ いつも頑張ってね✨
Your videos never disappoint -- they're always just a real VIBE! Chill, fun, informative, and concise, all presented with impeccable editing and camerawork. You're definitely one of the most underrated Japantubers, IMHO, and I'll be linking this video to my family for sure, as they'll be visiting me here in Tokyo in June, and we'll be heading to Kyoto together for a few days after that -- and your travel guide may be just what the doctor ordered for a really nice time!
I love that in this video (and your past videos as well) you also included the things you were disappointed by! Something I realized after travelling more was that you’ll inevitably try something that doesn’t meet your expectations or regret spending valuable time somewhere that wasn’t as interesting as you thought. That’s just the reality of travelling, especially when you’re looking to explore rather than sticking to a strict itinerary. Hopefully people see this guide and realize that a few mishaps shouldn’t define their travel experience. The hits AND the misses are all part of the experience.
Thank you for continuing to make videos. I've never met you but when life seems a little too much to bear, watching or rewatching your videos brings me a moment of peace and happiness. CROD sightings, Ghibli, shrines, gardens and ALL the food. It's like the friend who keeps reminding you that there are still things to look forward to in life.
From someone who's probably unlikely ever to be able to go - thank you for sharing and bringing us on a tour today Martina! Your videos are always a delight, and I always find myself looking forward to the next one, no matter how long its been. ♥
I can't see grilled octopus without having vivid flash backs to watching Iron Chef America in like 2008 where the secret ingredient was octopus and there is this slow-mo shot of the suckers exploding off of the tentacle while being grilled.
Kyoto is probably my favorite city I’ve visited in Japan. There’s so much to see and do, and the food is amazing. When I studied abroad there, one of the outings was a tour through Nishiki. There are actually a few shrines in the market! I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves food, and exploring different shops. I hope to be able to visit again!
Your content is so one of a kind, I haven't found a youtube channel that creates videos like yours at all! I hope you know how special, talented and creative you are!!
Dude...Martina....I just freakin love that you're still out here making these awesome videos. I've been watching since you started making videos waaay back in the days when they were primarily for friends and family lol. I still love and watch every single one.
Oh, my goodness, the anko butter taiyaki looks so good. 😮 My love for Snoopy would still beckon me to that stall, but maybe I’ll just go for a custard one.
Sadly had to end my trip to Japan early last month and couldn't really do much of anything while I was there because of health issues. But I'm excited to go again someday and have even more of your guides to add to our itinerary! Nishiki Market is definitely a top place my husband and I want to visit, and now I definitely want to try butter anko taiyaki
It’s been ages since I had been to Kyoto and this brought back so many memories. I had forgotten how awesome the market is. Need to get back there one day and eat all the things!
Hehe feeling like a domestic goddess because I'll be hosting my team Christmas dinner this Saturday! In the process of cleaning the dining room since I've already tackled areas like my room and tea shelves ✨✨

Thank you for the hard work! You create a specific mood for these videos and it works so well. Your knowledge of where to go is indispensable. And you save anyone going to Japan so much time. Ramen? Martina says go here. Sushi? Martina says go here. Love these videos.
I love your videos (have been watching you since 09) and am planning a backpacking trip for October 😄🥰 Can you do a video on how to get around the country? What apps should we have on our phone when visiting for the 1st time, how to pay for transportation, average cost of transit, do's and dont's while on transit (it sounds like big backpacks are a "don't" because of crowded subways), what's the best way to turn paper yen into coins for those planning to visit temples, etc. Anything would help, I'm kinda using you as my one stop shop guide and already purchased your Ultimate Japan Guide 😄
Was it busy? I was pretty surprised at how busy it was, but it did go through waves. Did you get the chance to try the butter taiyaki? Dangerously good 🧈
@@KingKogi it was insanely busy but we managed it well enough! We stayed at Ace Hotel so we walked to it, maybe 15 minutes there. I didn’t get to try the butter taikayki, I WISH I had!! It looked delicious in your video. Also Kyoto itself was pretty busy in most of the touristy spots. My favorite non busy day was at the end of the trip November 24th in Maruyama Park with the autumn leaves and the nature. 🥰🥰 It was our first time in Japan, I am already ready to go back!
Martina I'm a longtime fan and your videos are always so gorgeous! I adore the cute pig mascot and really appreciate all the honest feedback you give instead of the usual gushing some vlogs do.
Martina you always look so beautiful ❤ i love your videos. I struggle with EDS as well and the cold weather has really been taking its toll. Your smile is so infectious and sunshiny it helps me feel a lot better and feel like I'm not alone.
Hey Martina! I just wanted to know that your videos really help me with my Anxiety and depression. Thank you for this amazing content. Always soothing, always hopeful.❤
When I was in Kyoto the arcade I walked through was super cute and also had a few shines/ temples with entrances through the arcade. Suck a unique mix. Kyoto was so different from Tokyo and I loved it

Awesome video! I always get excited when i see you have a new one out because i know im just going to be transported to a place of positivity and beauty.

It's a good problem to have, that area of Kyoto being busy. I've seen so many videos in the past before the borders opened about how Kyoto was in financially dire straits, and I'm glad to see these streets in particular still containing that hustle and bustle.
Big Shoutout to King Kogi's Thatch travel guides! I traveled internationally for the first time this fall, and Tokyo was amazing but overwhelming to an extreme! YES! I so agree!
A series of her visiting each prefecture would be AMAZING!!
