I can see why Flossy is a friend of yours. She seems like a very sweet, vivacious, outdoor loving woman. This was a fun tour so please thank her for the tour for me. I can’t wait to see the step van. Cheers from Vancouver eh!
Flossy Roxx you should be proud of what you have learned and the fact you just went all in! Never apologize for what you did, it got you to where you are! Your bravery is incredible. You go girl!
Great to hear flossys story as we saw her a bit on your channel. I'm glad she will have a newer van as we had a 70s motorhome and it was one thing after the other to be fixed. Sold it and got a campervan that is age 20. Much better. I'll now follow her build. 👍
This was fun. You both have shown growth to encourage us. I am always learning about conservation in my life’s day to day. Scaling projects to accept the size of processing that is sensible is satisfying . Waste not want not. Preservation while living in the present is a gift.
Enjoyed this very much. I remember you helping her out on her new build. It'll be nice to have a tour of that one when it's finished, too. Thanks to Flossy. 😃
Many people seemed to miss that Flossy goes by "they." Great video, as always, Amanda. You both seem similar in your life views and how you spend your time. You both seem like amazing, genuine people.
Great video Amanda. Love your style & how Flossy did all the talking. Some you tubers interview in a way that it ends up seeming to be all about them rather than the person being interviewed.
Very much enjoyed. Both the subject (wonderful human) and the editing & presentation by T2A. ...and I found a new place on SSI to explore, regarding that lovely oceanside spot with the creek running. Thanks for this.
That was fun. I'd say this was a success! Always nice to see how people are living on the road and get their opinions and advise. Tend to get some really good ideas from their builds too. Thanks for this and looking forward to what 2022 has in store for you, Frank, your friends and your new friends you'll meet along the way!🍹
That was such a good interview and tour! I wish more van tours people did were like this! Letting the person living in the van talk and showcase their van. Flossy talked about the most important parts of her van and life, loved it.
The magical MYSTERY tour. The van is warm and beautiful just like them. MYSTERY is like one huge altar of art , pulling all the medicine and elements in. The detail of a cabin. I'm a Pisces moon too. Flossy is delightful. I say it all the time. How lucky are we !! Wishing her all the best in her new build. Xoxo ☮💙🐙🦑🦐🦀🐚🌻🌕🌚🔥🌈 Nice j9b Amanda.also, thanks for sharing the concoctions at the end.
Really enjoyed this video! I think you did a fantastic job putting it together. Flossy seems like a lot of fun. I'm definitely going to subscribe to her channel.
77 was a pretty good year for GMC in my opinion! Never had a van but had many of the K series trucks. Does that thing have a small block 400 in it? Pretty desirable if it does. Either way it has a quadrajet, a TH350 or TH400 transmission (both excellent), probably a 14 bolt full floater axle, all great stuff. Sorry to geek out on you but thats what I do.
Yeahhh!! Luv it all Miss Amanda. Hugz to our fav *dapper doggo Frankerito* 🐾🦴 Sooo uhhhh Flossy is that a wee *BRONZED poop* on your dash of all things eclectic? 😄
LOVED this interview with Flossy! I feel like I got to know so much more about their initial adventure into van life than I did before. And hearing the history of Mystery the van was wonderful! Totally came over from Flossy's channel because your energy shines in their videos. The content y'all create is so great! (I am on a rhyming streak today haha) Thanks for sharing and I excited to check out more of your videos and learn more about your journey as a vanlifer too Amanda. :D
What will happen to dear Mystery once Flossy’s new van is complete? Seems so sad to throw away such a sweet little home. They have created such personalized beauty and utility. I still can’t get over that awesome wood stove! I hope it can be transferred to the new build.
Hiya, well done on making this video tour, it was great. You and Flossy are very alike and apart from her accent (which I love), it could have been you speaking on similar topics. The underwater filming was amazing...I will be looking at more...but the skulls on the dashboard, erm...not my thing, though interesting. I hope you and Frank are ok and I will be looking out for your next installment 🙂
I was just watching & thinking oh, she hasn't got an accent! Forgetting that we are both New Zealanders 🤣. Am going to go explore Flossy's channel now.
Van owner in this video should keep all forms of clear Flex Seal on hand, including the mini cans. I have leaks from time to time, but the flex seal makes them manageable. She should also consider getting a new gel coat if she can manage the cost.
I would probably move into a van timed so I could head straight to a van-life meet-up - with a flea market. I'd go bare bones; basic camping set up. bed roll, blanket/bag, cooler, water jug, camp stove, folding chair, .., and hope to pick up deals on used gear and components for a build at the festival. Exceptions might be buying, in advance, a decent cordless tool kit (and hand tools) so I'd have the means to do the build after all the money I saved on used equipment. And I might consider purchasing a good battery - something you'll need sooner than later, and you don't necessarily want to buy used - though I might as likely just wait for a deal on a used portable "jaggery type' unit. EDIT: And one of those Camp Chef "Coven's" !!!
I love how people put their personality in their van...and then we are invited in to see!!
Great video Amanda, Flossy is so Cool

This was so much fun to watch. Flossy was very generous with her explanations of her van and her van life.
Great video, Amanda!
Thank you!

Very interesting & enjoyable video. Ty for sharing.
Very cottage feel in their van ☺️ I get so happy when I see a vehicle that has lasted so long and fulfilled such a purpose 🤍
I just love her! Thank you for sharing her with us!

Good job with the van tour
Great to hear Flossy's van life origins
Thanks for this, Amanda
A trick for all you wood stove users... use a wet paper towel and some light white ashes to clean the inside glass of the door 👍 Love your van build !
love seeing you and flossy together. great videos with great friends
Really good interview, Amanda, and editing and camera work. Love your stuff! Flossy, enjoyed the tour immensely and heading over to your channel now.

Love Flossy’s vlogs!
I love all the collectibles she has. I would run out of space. 😊
It’s amazing how many little things can be crammed in a van 🤦🏻♀️
Thanks ❤️ again
My first new vehicle was a '77 gmc van, turned it into a camper over the winter...I guess Flossy got stuck with it if the insides were rotten. :)
Thanks!
We'll be checking her channel out! Love all the skulls and oddities on the dash.

Cool interview and very nice young lady. Would make a wonderful friend. Cheers
I suggest you to put mud flaps on the van will keep rocket pannel clean and rust free..
