  • How to Hide wires Trans Am WS6 Camaro Firebird Formula SS Firehawk.
Wanted to clean up the underside of the hood on my trans am. This is something I have done on several cars I have owned and really like the outcome. This is an easy project that doesn't require a ton of time or tools.

I just did this on my 98 Camaro really cleaned it up. I used 1 3/4 hole for the passenger side and it was a perfect fit nice and clean. I would say that’s the smallest hole you could go with.

Using split vacuum line RTV'd into place makes some nice sheet metal hole edge guard. Keep up the great work!

I just did this and i ran the hood release cable through the hole above the screw hole at 6:22. You can see it above the screw hole . You will still need to run a drill through it for a little more clearance but it worked good. Nice video.

oh man i know what you mean as far as putting that liner back up, what I ended up doing after getting frustrated with it, was making the holes in the liner bigger so I could see where they line up on the inner fender, then just added an appropriately sized washer to the bolt.

If I put those wires in the inner fender here in the U.K. my car would stop working soon due to water ingress. I wouldn’t recommend drilling the strut towers either, they are structural and it would fail inspection

    • @TWAMotorsports

Did you personally go through and spray the engine bay or did you have that done professionally? If you did it yourself did you get the paint color of the RPO codes?
