- An extremely small PB compared to my last PB, but had some fun moments like the frame perfect star at the end of the Bull 1 fight, and the Sandman glitch. Also as a quick sidenote, the timing method for this game is by summing up the in-game times you see on the blue screens at the end of fights. Anyways, hope you enjoy!

Imagine going to a boxing fight and for the first 38 seconds, the boxers just stand in front of each other, then one throws 2 punches on the other guy, and it's over.
And paying for it too.
That was pretty much every Tyson fight in the 80s.

Imagine going to any of these fights and they're all just one guy dominating most of them in less than a minute.
Imagine going to a championship match just to watch the reigning champion get wambo comboed and koed in the first 45 seconds.
One of my favorite things about Punch-Out speedruns is that, for the most part, the game is being played entirely as intended. No sequence breaks, no glitches, just being really damn good at the game.
this is pretty wrong XD but i can understand how it looks like that to someone who doesn't play or speedrun the games. i mean all of the crazy stuff going on isn't exactly obvious unless it involves getting hit or knocked down on purpose like TD soda on wii

Zallard, I have watched your Games Done Quick speedruns of Punch Out and recently watched your blindfolded Punch Out Wii speedrun, and I was blown away, but there is something I have always wondered. I know that in Mike Tyson's Punch Out you can stay down until the 9 count and still get up, but can you do that in Super Punch Out? The reason I ask this is, because I came across an old video you had where you beat the Wii Mr Sandman with only hooks, and I was wondering if that hooks only challenge was possible for everyone in every Punch Out game and if the staying down until the 9 count would come in handy for such a challenge. I think there might be some fights in Super Punch Out or Mike Tyson's Punch Out that might be impossible for such a challenge, but I have yet to see anyone try it and I know that you are definitely the most qualified for the challenge given that you tend to have a habit of making the impossible possible. XD

The first punch wasn’t even needed, you can literally stand still for all that time and throw one punch to win, zallard was just using buffer strats.

On glass joe you can consistently get the ko by buffering 22 face punches and doing two left gut punches and then two right gut punches. It’s blindfolded strats

Dodgeless for this game is impossible thanks to Don Flamenco 1, Bald Bull 2, Mr Sandman, and Mike Tyson unfortunately.
@@zallard1 For Bald Bull you can counter the bull rush.
@@azimmeme9994 He tends to not do 3 bull charges in a single round, and aside from the ear rub and bull charge, he doesn't have attacks that can be directly countered without dodges.

Why did you wait until you pressed start before the Piston Honda 1 fight?
These runs are timed with the in game clock, so it doesn't matter how much time he takes in between fights. My guess is he used that time to drink water or something like that.
This run is timed with the in-game times of each fight. Also there is a manipulation you can do if you don't press right/down at all & press start at about 2:09 exactly from a console reset to get a favorable attack out of Honda 1. The same kind of manipulation is done on King Hippo, which is why I wait there as well.

I once completed a play through of this game many years ago where I got a KO on every fighter and sustained no damaged. My time was probably terrible.
And no, TKO's Did not count.
That is impossible, as Bald Bull 1 can ONLY be TKO’d.
@sebastiansklerov2303 I was implying that. I did try the 2-2-2 knockdown approach and it didn't work. But you're right, I did not KO him.
