It’s ironic that for a scammer, Thomas was very trusting. Like, he never suspected that that the guy he tried to scam, the guy who called him out for his scummy practices, possibly might have ulterior reasons for wanting to get in to his scammer group.
Personally, I'd like to view that as that shred of goodness shining through, being genuine about the wrongness of their operations.

Well I mean he’s definitely not a very smart guy. People just fall for these types of scams when money is on the table. And sometimes it pushed people to do something that they’d usually be suspicious of doing

Instead, the dude was just blunt about most of the stuff that was asked. I would be put on a tin foil hat and say that maybe he wanted the full exposure of the scam to happen soon.

Compared to most Indian scammers who will yell and threaten old people without even trying to justify what they're doing, this scammer was honestly shockingly chill.
Yeah - to be honest sully keeps calling these people “scum” but with all the scam baiting videos I’ve seen there is SO much worse. Some of these people hear stories about how their victims will die without this money and continue regardless.

My only real concern is that he gets hurt by the people he works with. Dude absolutely deserves jail time, but a single person being the fall guy for such a huge scam could be very dangerous for him.
Well, in a way, he knew what was coming for him the moment he decided to join this crap: you don't enter an entire criminal operation and not expect to run your whole life in danger the moment you make a single slip-up.

As someone who's always lowkey wanted to mess with scammers but has never had the time, dedication, or courage to actually go beyond wailing about the ducks in my walls over the phone, this is the absolute dream. A common telephone scam where I live is people posing as duct-cleaning services (which makes life very difficult for the actual duct-cleaning services, poor folks). I was once present for one of these calls that my dad answered. The conversation went something like this:
father: hello?
guy: hello, can I speak to the homeowner?
father: speaking.
guy: hello, sir. I'm from the duct-cleaning services. when was the last time you had your ducts cleaned?
father: sorry, we don't have any ducks.
guy: I beg your pardon?
father: we don't have any ducks. the neighbours have chickens, though.
guy: no! the ducts in your walls!
father, jokingly: there are ducks in our walls!?

- got even more exposed
- leaked their entire scam ring
- while trying to make a collab with CG5, ended up being diss tracked by Sully, CG5, and Finn M-K

You're a legend dude, I've been ignoring all emails and links because getting hacked is one of my biggest fears, exposing stuff like this is very important!
Even with seemingly “legit” ones, i take caution. For example, I once had a txt sent to my phone with name of my bank saying someone tried signing into my account and to click link to confirm if it was me. It didn’t say my name, so i found it a bit sketchy and deleted message. Went directly to bank and confirmed it was indeed a scam. Was told by my bank that they don’t send link so its now easy to ignore it another were to be sent.
So in short, my “filters” for scams is 1. Is my name on it 2. Is it something i am a part of 3. Don’t open links unless its from someone i know 4. Go directly to my account on separate device if it looks urgent without clicking link/file
Honestly the scammer is an awful person for believing that UA-cam restores all hacked channels. The statement is that all larger channels or channels who have a following to make a stir on Twitter get their Channel back smaller channels will often stay crypto scam channels forever and then deleted per UA-cam's policy with no restoration.

It's most likely that he's deluding himself into believing that statement to be true; to make it sound not so bad to the little conscience he has left.
I had a musician I really love and admire who was almost lost to hackers like these. Their music got me through so many hard days, and I was devastated to see their channel gone. And, they did get it back, despite being a smaller channel, but was so worried about it that they considered quitting UA-cam for good. Even if people did get their channels back every time, it doesn’t erase all the fear and stress and pain of losing something you worked so hard for, and not knowing if you can ever get it back. And the fans, while likely not having as much of a panic as the creator themself, will go through all those emotions as well. It’s a scummy and selfish thing to do, no matter how hard those scammers try to justify it to themselves. I wish they could realize that. But, even if they did, 99% of scammers don’t care about others at all

Here's a quick security tip: Consider setting up a Virtual Machine to test downloadable files in before you run them on your main system. Even if your antivirus doesn't detect the file as dangerous, it can't compromise your system and accounts that way. There are all sorts of videos explaining how they work and how to set them up, I'd recommend it when you have a chance.
He didn't dodge the bullet. He literally pulled an Ultrakill and just *parried* the bullet back at them.
Do not do this unless you actually know what you are doing. VMs are not automatically secure just because they are a VM and require hardening before they are "safe" to install viruses on, otherwise they can and will just infect your entire machine. A lot of malware might not be advanced enough to recognized its in an unhardened VM, but if you do get one, it will be very bad.
@@dalmaronthefirst2237 I'm guessing making sure the VM sees itself as being inside an internal network with no Internet access, or even killing any shared folders or copy-paste ability from host to guest, would be first steps.
@@dalmaronthefirst2237 The only absolutely safe option is air gap. Even with a VM, never use a machine networked to anything else, never transfer files from it, and do a low-level format when you're done.

I got affected by a trojan that I accidentally downloaded a few months ago. IT SUCKED. I became so stressed, paranoid and worried due to all my accounts being leaked. This was everything on my pc that I was logged into, amazon (with a card attached), Google accounts, game accounts, etc

Also no way, I’ve had scam emails come through from Pinnacle and Black Desert both (the latter I’ve genuinely worked with before so I recognised the false email immediately) - I wonder if they happened to be coming from the same scam group?

In a day and age where it is easy to be mistrustful of anything, there is almost no reason to respond to calls, texts, or e-mails anymore.
This is quite the rollercoaster of a video with you turning tables on that scammer in the end, and it even ends with a banger!
