    Have you ever wondered if it is possible to sharpen the Swiss Army Knife Wood Saw?
    My first tip is: Let the saw be as it is as long as you are reasonably satisfied with the performance!

    I use "the saw is blunt" as an excuse everytime I want to buy another Sak. I hope my fiance never looks through my UA-cam history or I'll be in big trouble!

    Very interesting technique you've displayed! This makes sense, and I use similar sharpening technique with some of my knives that are serrated! Victorinox has to be proud of your demonstrations!

    I've watched several of your videos and finally made the connection that you are friends with Taromovies. I enjoy the tips you are demonstrating .     That's fantastic. I bought my Victoria knife in Switzerland 40 years ago and I still have it for the odd use. It's still relatively sharp and now with diamond pads I have the option to sharpen

      As you perhaps remember, we were a bunch of people who really wondered how to sharp the saw blade a couple a months ago.
      I was one of them.
      And as you mentioned, trying to do it with a file is very complicated.
      But now we know.

    In a pinch I sawed carbon fiber because I had nothing else to do the job, needless to say it was very blunt.
    I did your trick with the sandpaper on my Spirit and it worked like a charm.
    It´s cutting wood now like never before.....Thanks!

      Ne, ich bin aus der Fränkischen Schweiz in Deutschland.
      Hab nur früher viel an Opel Asconas geschraubt (und auch einige besessen).
      Inzwischen schraub ich aber mehr am Fronti, der in meinem Avatar is.

    Hi Felix, now i know what i have to do is i've some spare time, collecting all the Victorinox knives in your house (guess there are over 20) and rework the saws:-) never thought about it could be possible, thanks, Taro

      Ich wäre eher zurückhaltend mit Säge nachschärfen. Die Dinger sind ewig scharf. Nur wenn Du mal in einen Nagel oder einen Stein gesägt hast würde ich auf diese Methode zurückgreifen. Liebe Grüsse
