Nice idea, like the carabiner trick. Seen a little of Ron's stuff on UA-cam, seemed like a nice guy. You had a locking carabiner I'm guessing? How's the accuracy? Dave C.'s "sling bow" did pretty good from what I remember of his videos on it.
I was waiting for you to pull it back a little farther at about 1:30... I was thinking "oh man his buddy is downrange". But you didn't and included the safety message....lol
The idea sounds good but ... I wonder about the durability of the bands with constant contact with your body oil - skin gets oily out in the bush. If you are going to carry the bands and pouch, why not just carry the entire slingshot? If you carry just the bands and pouch for an emergency and you aren't willing to carry the entire slingshot, you could easily tie the bands to a forked branch with some bank line and make a regular sling shot.
Not really no, what he did was to modify the wrist rocket slingshot to use arrows, this is not the same at all as this doesn't use an existing storemade slingshot as a base.
Who cares? Canterbury is ok but he isn't Lord of the bush. What I like about David is that he allows all views and doesn't censor comments he doesn't like... like yours I'm sure. And he isn't a liar as far as I can tell so far. Can't say that for Canterbury. Keep up the good work David.

Yes.. it was a locking D Carabiner. The accuracy is actually very good.. hit a 5" tree from 20 yards dead on!
