Jesus man, plants must love to see you coming...
I love this guy style of gardening. He's a genius. You don't feel intimidated or overwhelmed and fun to watch. He makes me feel like I want to garden right now :)
The GENIUS has struck again. The sound of that shovel moving with such PASSION is SO wonderful.
I like his deadheading videos where hes kicking the spent petals with his foot or wacking them with a shovel! I have learned so much from this man. Keep up the good work!
And thanks from America for keeping it real!
The hands of a surgeon!
Love this! I guess plants aren’t as delicate as I thought. 👌😁
Could of gave us a "Viewers discresion is advised" warning at the beginning.. I wasn't expecting so much violence from the start
I had to move my Alpine bed earlier this week, broke my heart to cut all the beautiful new flowers off, but I learnt that from one of your earlier videos Thanks
🙈😱😩😢We, the passionate gardeners, will need a therapy after this video!
😂
That was like a commando raid
I didn't know about cutting the tops off when moving plants but it makes total sense to do that. Good info. Thanks.
WARNING :The following video contains graphic images that many gardeners will find disturbing. Viewer discretion is advised" 😂🌻🌻🌷🌷 beautiful message you wish to impart is: "it's not rocket science, Nature is more resilient than we give her credit" its almost impossible to do wrong. Thanks!, I needed that reminder😎🌻
VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED! Whoa! That was rough! I REALLY want to see the update on that in a month!
Yes please !!!! Hope u do a follow-up video John. Tks
I WHISH I had your energi... But I hurt when plants are thrown, even though I know you are right!
Damn the alpine bed was so nice. Shame to see it go, but I'm sure the new one well be even better
John, I sure would like to make free with your discards. :) what you are discarding would be appreciated by many. I think, after the camera was off, you offered your customers free plants from the reject pile. A bit of mycorrhizae sprinkled on the roots and they would be fine is my bet. What do you think? Hope you will do a follow up later. Thanks and have a great week!
Your enthusiasm has given me great courage yet again to just get stuck in! Tks *****
Very helpful. Going back to the garden this evening to trim back a couple of things I moved today. "Their roots are stressed."
You are a high performance gardener. Extremely energetic, totally brutal with your plants. I have to be honest, I’m not sure I’d let you near my garden, even though you are a gifted gardener with vast knowledge 👍😫❤️
Staff's right behind you with rooting hormone and a hose. Gooood night... Didn't know the part about cutting them back so the roots can take hold, tho, thank you! God bless you and yours, in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
I would love to see how this looks now
Men ,you're my new gardener heroes! !!😀😀😀
You'll be exausted in the end of the day.
This guy is like the Tiger King of the plant nursery world! Brutal. Are we sure he loves plants? Loll
Alpines! I’m very fond of them, but its a bit of challenge to grow the cool weather ones in South Carolina.
With experience comes bravery: knowing which plants you can divide; which you can prune; and which you must say “Goodbye” to. Thanks for the demo. 🌼
Hello John, you moved a Japanese Maple 'orange dream' . I wonder if it recovered? If so, would you be so kind to walk by it in one of your future videos. Thanks. Greetings from the Netherlands.
Please show update on this. Love to watch you.
You know, if you threw down a tarp or sheet you'd have a much easier cleanup after that massacre, lol
Brutal! ;)
Had to close my eyes at one point...so much violence ..geez
Must be nice to own a nursery..."Bah, can't save this one!"
Can the trailing alpines be used in window boxes and hanging baskets? I’m choosing plants for a children’s garden. I have a 6 year old and 6 month old grandkids and want plants that stimulate all the senses so that even the baby can experience it as well. I’d love any suggestions from you or your other viewers. Thanks!
Hi John I have 2 New plants
Lisianthus Helix Lime and Lisianthus Celeb2 Queen I'm not sure where to put them ,have you done a video on them maybe I missed. From new gardener Anita.
Do you have a cleanup crew that follows you ? 😆 Tornado Warning!
Take no prisoners!
You have the driest conditions I've ever seen outside of the desert.
Ok thumbs up it will look as good as new end of July THUMBS DOWN if not put your THUMBS where you think lol 👍
Que tosco con las platas es.
John Lord, the plant torturer.
Easy does it. Good grief 🤣🤣
Massacre... no need to be so rough. I love plants too much to be that brutal
"this one i definitely want to save"...well how about take your time, get a good root ball and water it straight away. No flinging it around like a rag doll and shaking all the soil off the roots. sheesh.
We do gardening as a hobby and so we can afford to take our time. But for professionals, time is money and they cannot waste time playing around.
If his method didn’t work after 40 years gardening I’m sure he would have found another one.
