He was 15 when he debuted. That means he was *13* when he left his family and moved to Seoul to live in a low-rent one-bedroom dorm with a bunch of older trainees. He gave up a normal life when he was young enough to not understand what that meant. He seems like a sincere, trusting person which is truly amazing and a testament to his BTS members, his family, and his own hard work and dedication.

yeah,its sad that many kpop idols audition so young, i like straykids and for the leader of straykids it was similliar if not more dificult,because he auditioned in 2010 he was also 13 but he had to leave his country alone to be a great leader,i just hope that the kpop idols who are young get to live their teenage years too and not only work
Not sure how many younger trainees was there, but at least he had V and Jimin who are only 2 years older than him. Maybe that’s why those 3 are so close

Honestly I am not a big fan of English songs of kpop but the songs Jungkook released are actually masterpiece and enjoyable. The fact he is trying new genre and new style show his efforts of making us happy. It's really so heartbreaking to hear that he like all other members get hate for no big reason. Hope they are happy and safe

I am not a bts fan, but i have mad respect for them. I think it really sucks that Jungkook is getting hate for his solo. I havent listened to it, but what matters is that he is happy with the album. And as far as i can tell, he is. Who are we to tell him what kind of music he should or should not be making? If he wants to do pop music, let him do pop music. If he wants to sing in english, then let him sing in english. Hes a grown man. He can make his own decisions and do what he wants with his career.

Jungkook has always had a special place in my heart, even when I stopped listening to BTS as much. There has just always been something about him that made me think of him as a younger brother that I need to support and take care of in ways that I can. Supporting his career isn’t difficult because he is talented and he has grown into such a great artist and I see even greater things for him in the future.
Everyone who does not love Kookie or BTS in general is missing out on something really pure and lovely of our time... because it is not just about the music it's them and the way that they are that makes them special.... lots of love BTS come back safe

I'm not into BTS nor Kpop but recently I came to like "Dreamer", 'Seven' and '3D' song a lot and slowly I discovered JK's other amazing solo songs... I started to admire his capabilities, voice and humble personalities... it makes me like him even more now 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 He is by far if not one of the best singer in kpop world... Internationally, I was also so impressed when he sang Left & Right with charlie putth... Not to forget, his visual is also a piece of art... he is actually s.korean's national treasure... I feel, He is still the same just becoming stronger and more expressive steadily. That's the best part I have ever seen in him. I love him in all the ways and I love him more for choosing himself while being humble and kind as a person . Certain songs he has released are my style and some aren’t. Does that mean I’m going to ignore all the hard work he’s put in and the incredible talent he has? Absolutely not. I started listening to BTS and became a fan around the Dope Era. My style or not, I’m proud of everything these 7 men have accomplished, both as a team and as individuals. Jungkook is a few months older than me, but I feel like a proud mom watching how much he’s grown and seeing where he is now and the style he chose, yeah it’s a bit of a shock and an adjustment period, but I’m so happy for him and proud of him☺️❤️

He's criticized for nothing just because haters gonna hate... He has had big responsibilities since he was 15 and he worked very hard to the point of putting his health at risk to be sure to leave a good memory for the fans. Some people say he doesn't deserve to be the main vocalist even though he has done so much for BTS. He started as a rapper, singer and dancer and he was already doing a lot of ad-libs, harmonisations, etc. He has always been at the center so he must also be "impeccable"... He is the one who best knows how to adapt to different genres of songs. I'm not going to list all the reasons why he deserves to be the main vocalist, he has already proven it enough for over 10 years! And just because he's a super fast learner doesn't mean he hasn't worked really hard to get where he is!
Many people treat him like a child incapable of making his own decisions or say that he behaves childishly because he doesn't know how to sit still during interviews, speeches or even during lives... He's someone who has always been super active, he has a lot of energy to expend and he is also very anxious. It's not childish behavior but just a way of being able to release the tension he has accumulated. And no, he's not weird or embarrassing because he's often in random mode, that's what sets him apart and why a lot of people love him!
Anyway, I have so many things to say about Jungkook... He's not perfect for some people (who is?) but he is perfect for me just the way he is 💜💜💜. I love him for his many talents but especially for his personality, his intelligence that is too often underestimated and because he makes me feel less embarrassed about my personality since we have the same one. He's really kind, genuine, generous, funny, adorable and doesn't pretend to be seen well. When I see him smile or when I hear his laugh, it makes my heart melt and I'm really happy. He helps me everyday to get out of my depression ! I'm really happy that he was able to be surrounded by people like the members of BTS. I'm really proud of him and the man who he became ! 💜💜
I actually don't things he has changed in terms of who he is. He is still the talented, hard working, handsome young man that he has always been. Yes, he has grown up in front of our eyes...under the intense glare of public scrutiny. However, I think any "changes" anyone has observed are just natural adjustments to becoming an adult in the environment that he is in.

I love Golden it’s a no skip album for me. JK does such a good job singing the English songs that if you didn’t know who he was you’d think he was a fluent English speaker. His voice goes so well with pop songs. And if you watch him perform the songs he’s even more incredible. He never disappoints that’s why I’ll always support him and bts too.
Not a fan of his group but when i heard his song dreamers, coming from a “kpop” artist really amazed me, I looked up to him and found out that he is the most talented artist amongst his group and till today he’s shining the brightest star, hope he continue to achieve his goals, and definitely will support this hard working young man

I have followed BTS since their debut because my daughter listened to them 24/7. I fell in love with his heart and personality first. He is definitely my bias. His talent is off the charts. One thing i realized in this chapter 2 is how much he has contributed to the group (making guides and chorus for almost all Bts songs) yet still hated and considered the lazy brat, just because he is the most honest in showing the human he is😢
I really tend to agree, with what you stated. He was NOT a "brat" , he was a 13 year old child, may I reiterate, CHILD & we ALL know that . Almost ALL normal children , do begin in life , as selfish, self-entitled, self- centered, immature , rebellious, disrespectful, unfocused, attention- seeking, etc , etc Much of that, goes by the wayside, by way of patient guidance , from parents, older siblings , mentors & our elders, as we grow & mature into young men & women... we then journey, further on, into the responsibilities & expectations , that adulthood .brings with it.

Painting, drawing, traditional ink & brush calligraphy, magic tricks, card games, photography, film making & editing, travel channel creator, cooking ( he EVEN had one of his unique, ramen recipes, purchased from his favourite ramen making company & patented & named after him ) unique clothing design & hand assembly of them, playing the drums, athletics, boxing, archery, martial arts, ( remember his stunning relay race performance, the fierce look, on his determined little face, as he came across the finish line, lengths ahead of everyone else, made one think , that he truly , was finishing an Olympic Decathlon & " GOING FOR THE GOLD"🏅🏆 ) modeling, name-brand product representation, world event theme song creator, blah blah blah
WHAT DOES THIS OUTSTANDING & FREAKISHLY GIFTED YOUNG MAN NOT DO!??

I really dont understand why ppl blindly hate on someone whom they have never even met personally. Jungkook deserves all the love and more. I was so sad by the fact thatmany armys turned their backs on him just becoz his album got more recognition.
sadly many are jealous and upset that his solo songs have been more successful than some of the others in the group. Some have been jealous of him since early on, actually....since he is the center and main vocal. Jm & Tae solos are particularly resentful. I really can't believe some of the hate I've seen on twitter directed at jk, and also by jk solos directed at Jm & Tae. That's the one downside to the guys doing these solo projects, it seems the "fans" have to make it a hateful competition 😕

Jung kook is an amazing personality, a pure soul who gets unwanted hate, He's gone through a lot to make his dreams come true, to hate him for no reason makes no sense. He is such a kind hearted and considerate soul. People degrade him as though he is nothing, It's truely heart breaking to see his efforts for his fans, family and of course BTS. Alothough he has made a few mistakes, he's human afterall.There is no flawlwss person ! I really hope that one day, Jung kook would start opening up with hisloved ones and stop sacrificing his mental and physical health for others sake. He is truely my greatest role model, his efforts have inspored me a lot, one day I hope to meet him in persoon and thank him for all he has done for ARMY. Some people change for the better and some for the worst. He is expressing himself and doing his own thing so it's okay for him to change and grow older, like we all do.

I’m not a fan of BTS as a group but I heard Seven on the radio a bunch and liked it, it made me actually listen to him and I like his solo stuff. Then eventually (mostly because of how much Ateez talks about BTS) I had seen someone on tiktok who’s bf made a “K-pop men who make me act up” presentation and the comments said to look up Mint Yoongi (sorry if I misspelled it also they were all say Mint and not Min. Not a fan so I don’t get the reference, it would be like me telling someone that’s not into Stray Kids that Channie, Christopher, and Chan are simultaneously the same person and three different people. If you’re not into SKZ you won’t get it but if you are, you understand lol) and he was listening to TikTok compilations and I liked his rapping. As someone who never was into K-pop until I found SKZ and then Ateez, Suga reminds me of a mix of Hongjoong, Han, and Chan (I know he came first debut wise but he came after them for me finding them that the only reason I’m comparing them the way I am) especially in Daechwita at a certain part. Even though I don’t like BTS, I actually really enjoy those two’s solo stuff. I can appreciate the hard work they put into making their songs and I don’t get why they get hate. The stuff I don’t like, I just don’t listen to again and move on. I actually really like JK’s solo stuff though, and it hits diffy in a way idk how to explain. I have only been into K-pop for 8 months on the 15th so I don’t know many bands or songs but I can appreciate the work that goes into everything they do. Sorry this was long 😂😂 also, I didn’t realize my SKZ pandora had played Amygdala by Suga, I was only remember seeing it as Agust D and thought “hey this is a really good song, wonder who it is” but I was at work so I forgot to look it up that day.
I've been an ARMY since 2018 and Jungkook had matured so much!! Stanning BTS was the best decisions of my life! Jungkook achieved so much and he is a gifted singer, dancer, and everything he does. I think all the members release music that suit them really well, even if some of them weren't what we expected we as fans have to accept that people change so it makes sense that members would also like to change their style. It'd actually be weird for 26 years old Jungkook to be making the same music that we he was making when he was 15.
Jungkook us a very humble guy..and very talented..sometimes kpop music is not for everybody, but that does not mean you can degrade the artist only if he is trying to show his talent. If you don't like Jungkook thats your opinion, but there are millions that think otherwise. I personally respect Jungkook and BTS for coming along way. We are so proud of them.
The boy didn't change he just matured and grown as a person. And some of he's fans didn't and still thinks childish!
I think GOLDEN suits JK really well. I honestly didn't expect something different. Tho I am not a fan of the group releasing fully english songs, I actually really really reaaallly love this album. It just FEELS like JK. In my opinion, it's perfect for him. I was pleasantly surprised.

Since his dazzling success with Seven, many Armys have turned their backs on him because he is better than the other members. He gets a lot of hate on Twitter from several different fandoms but also from certain armys who hate him (sexual harassment, racism, defamation, rumors, etc.). It's sad because he doesn't deserve all this hatred, he has a heart of gold and is one of the most talented artists of our generation.

I really admire BTS in the sense that they never gave up on their dreams. Their hard work paid off I the end and it's so beautiful to see. I've been a fan for a long time now, idk exactly how long, but it's long enough to know Jungkook definitely has his struggles. As a shy person, I know how hard it is to put yourself out there. A lot of people hate on him now, for getting all those piercings and tattoos. But what they fail to understand is that this was the person Jungkook was always meant to grow into. This is what it looks like when someone finally becomes themselves, and stops trying to be the perfect idol everyone wanted of him. Not everyone stuck around for his transformation but that's okay. That's just life.
Tbh i was not a fan of jungkook or bts or any other kpop idols before .. but after hearing jungkook songs seven, standing next to you, 3d etc.. i love him so much and want to know more about him and i watch and watch many bts and him had done in the past and their music . i think i now might be their hardcore fan (army).. 😂😂😂

Although I don't really listen to BTS anymore I do keep up with them occasionally, I'll admit I didn't really like Jungkook's album but I'll always admire how hard working he is, he truly is a kind hearted man, I respect him for his perseverance and effort ❣❣Euphoria was the first BTS solo song I had heard and I fell in love with his sweet voice, he was my first bias in BTS and I still adore him 🫰

Whenever I watch any live video of his, a UA-cam video, a performance or just him casually with his hyungs, I can’t help but think how pure he is. I know that we don’t know him that much personally but he isn’t bad at all. He is so humble and a good person and so selfless. He struggled so much to be here today so I think all the glory and the good things he gets aren’t too much for him to get. The hate is unnecessary especially when he isn’t harming anyone.
Been bts fan since 2014, them going from nothing at all to having their name in itself a national asset, people tend to hate anyone hardworking and successful! I'm not saying they never did anything imperfect but they never did anything likely to get the amount of hate they get! I haven't really listened to BTS' music, but I listened to Jung Kook's new English album and thought his music was really good. He's super talented and I hope he does well. The only issue is that I hope he doesn't burn out from all the fame and scrutiny.

I can really relate to Jungkook, people now are so screwed up now that you can't just be cool with everyone, plus how young Jungkook was and that he left Busan to become a singer, that is scary enough, by God's grace and his bandmates, Jungkook prevales and I'm happy for Jungkook's success. I can only imagine myself leaving home at a young age to persue a career around strangers.
I cried after watching this. JK and all the other BTS members deserve so much love and happiness. While no human is perfect, including idols, these guys have proven over and over and over again how amazing they are inside and out, only to get hated on. They've been through a lot, maybe even things we don't know about. To those who aren't fans of them, you don't have to be, but don't go out of your way to hate them just because they're successful, not your cup of tea, or for living their lives. If you don't like them, don't waste your time or theirs by spreading hate. Just move on. I'm very proud of BTS and they will always hold a special place in my heart.

I am a newish fan of Jung Kooks music. I can easily appreciate how hard he has had to work to get to where he is now.
I am 63 and love all the dancing he does in his videos. He exudes talent and singing in English is not easy. I think when you love music you can appreciate talent no matter what age you are. I truly wish Jung Kook all the success in the world, because he deserves it.

Jungkook and other bts members had one of the toughest life especially Suga and yet they came over it and became so big worldwide. They also got a lot of hate even after debuting for literally dumb to no reason, broke my heart. Like you said, Jungkook was only 15 years old which was a lot of pressure when debuting and even after that he pushed himself to perform great. It came to the fact that all the bts members got exhausted and jungkook even collapsed. Thankfully now he is living pretty happily and healthy with millions of people as his fans but still, he is getting a lot of hate due to dating rumours and producing English songs. Haters can’t even accept the fact that he had achieved so much and throw hate on him like crazy. It’s heartbreaking to see how much he had gone through and still receiving hate. 😢

Small correction: Rather than the other members forcing him to take a shower last, he's said a few times that he was so shy around the members at first that he'd wait until they were all asleep before he felt okay enough to go take a shower.
