It still blows my mind that no one went to see Jin during his enlistment!! Love this fandom!! I just want to add a cute story, after seeing the yet to come concert at the movies , an older army requested a photo with everyone, I believe she's an organiser for fandom activities, but she also reminded everyone to pick up their own rubbish because "ARMY clean up after themselves". Iv never had this experience in any other fandom!
You're right and I have cute story about YTC: at movies !! I got cute unofficial photocards from fandom organizer (in different place) and I saw few armys brought lightsticks (I did too!) and omg I'm really glad I'm in this fandom!
the people who work at our local cinema were really happy about us I have never understood why some just don't want to clean up for themselves it is not that hard
yes and i remember all the hotels in the area was booked that´s why Jin posted that to avoid a mass outside and they listened. people even came from outside korea to say goodbye but never went.
It takes maturity, self control and loads of respect. I’m also amazed that Tae was able to complete his filming of Jinny’s Kitchen safely with little to no disclosure of where the filming was during the filming. Fans who went to eat at the eatery during the filming were so respectful. I was particularly touched to see a young fan left a note for Tae to express her adoration after eating at the eatery and left without making a scene. So cool.
The only problem with this is that anyone who don't know BTS will think, "these BTS guys are nothing, nobody knows them." And in one of the Jinnys Kitchen episode, one of the customers sort of implied this sentiment after finding out from one of his friend that Tae was supposed to be a "famous boy band member." He said to Tae, "how does it feel when nobody knows you and you are just a normal guy, it must feel strange to you." Little did this guy know, it was because masses of Tae fans were purposefully keeping away. But like I always believed, pandemonium piques the interests of other people who may not know BTS. Then they do research and might even become fans. This is how many people became BTS fans because of all the excitement around BTS from fans initially, that led others to research them.
@@Hqmptynpw But we should not care about that. What matters is the comfort and the well-being of our faves. What outsiders think about it should not be important to us. We should be happy that our faves feel comfortable and safe around us. Isn't it more enjoyable to behave normally around them and actually earn their respect and see them feeling safe instead of us acting like crazy people and scaring them? We can make more great memories with them when we act normal around them. People are too used to fans acting hysterically around their idols, that's why they were kinda shocked about how Tae was just like a random guy and not one of the members of the most famous boy band. We should actually be proud of that. We should be proud of the fact that we, as fans, know where is the line, and that we know the limits. I hope you understand what I mean.
Na Pd was very syrict with the filming of jinnys and made sure that armys were not informed of it so that explains why..but despite that many customers still recognized him though he mostly stayed in the kitchen...and on the last day of filming, tae gave some snacks to the armys who were there...
My sisters and I talk about this ALL THE TIME. Joining the BTS fandom completely changed our expectations for other artists and started putting other artists we used to be big fans of into a poor light. The way BTS communicates with their fans (one example out of a million others) is far superior to any other group or artist I have ever come across or been a fan of and I’ve been around for a while.
They have absolutely raised the bar SO high, and in SO many ways. No one else is doing it like them and no other fandom is also doing it like ARMY is. 💜
I think most of us had a personality glow up after stanning bts and becoming army I really love my fellow army so much As a baby army most armys around me are kind, understanding and always ready to explain stuff They also comforted me when my whole 1D thingy (idk what word to use) struck and I felt that bts would also never return from hiatus like 1D by telling me about different instances and helping me just trust bts and forget about other stuff I love being in this fandom Borahae army 💜 Edit- I used the word trauma very freely because I didn't really know what the word entails and so I wanna apologize to everyone here
@@nishthajain5806 I hope you are reassured by the content so far in chapter 2 as our Tannies cannot stop talking about how they look forward to 2025 (probably later). The solo fans are really annoying and using the situation, but time and time again our young men tell us how it is. I have such a big trust in them.
Hey let's trend about BTS army watching reaction video instead of streaming, We are failing to have 10 million in 2 days while we did pull off 100 million in 24 hour in past, please army stream more rather than watching reaction video 😢😢, other group are streaming rather than wasting time on reaction video, some reactor even are not even army they are using BTS for quick subscribe gain, i even watch a channel where his subscriber ask him to "react to BTS and army will croud you and your channel "😮😭😭😭😭😭‼️
@Blossom 🌺🌺 that other fandom is not streaming those numbers. The views have come from the company. Its pretty much common knowledge that company does it.(there have been some damning videos of people that used to work there). Especially for that group. They also have a ton of fake fan accounts to encourage rumors and nastiness on social. For reactors, the haters watch the reaction vids and ups their view count and that's how they see the video, so they have something they can say when they'rehating it online. But, the music is copyrighted. So any reactor that reacts, the royalties will still go to the group.
@@marissa1341 our stream are getting deleted, like crazy mv didn't get a single view for 2 days, while we are streaming hardly, something is really wrong, our Spotify stream are getting filtered 26.5%‼️‼️‼️😭
@@blossom6693 context matters here. We pulled those numbers during a pandemic where everyone was stuck in their homes and had a lot of time at hand. Also most armys stream on Spotify nowadays. And it also doesn’t help that UA-cam deletes our views a lot
When has ARMY been kind to anyone but themselves? All you see online is ARMY taking delight in doxxing others, spitting venom at other groups, telling people to d!e? ARMY are online bullies
Even now we’re trying to course correct the fandom after Namjoon came on live disappointed in the lack of meaningful discussion in the chat because lives have been overrun by fans seeking a reaction from the members, shippers, and flags. He said “we changed” and that was all that was needed to enact a serious change in how we can do better for them on Weverse since it’s now their primary means of communication with us. International Twitter ARMYs have taken the lead of using Papago and Google translate so we can talk to them (and K-Diamonds think our efforts are cute lol) instead of them being met with walls of spam in every live. We don’t just self-police for the fandom’s health, but also for BTS to continue feeling connected to us. We grew side by side as fans and artist, and we don’t want to lose that no matter how big either of us become.
Armys are now reporting these comments on weverse.....I scrolled 10 minutes on yesterday's yoongi post and didn't found a single YMM comment and I was like they listened to fast...I am so grateful 😂
Well BTS are genuine artists who have tons of experience to share about life and music so its best to engage in meaningful chats with them and learn from them when they decide to share their time with us.
THANK YOU for this video. I'm so tired of how people love to highlight the toxic side of our fandom but never talk about the good one. I know that our fandom is far from perfect but can we stop giving the spotlight to the fu*ked up one and actually give some credit to those who do things well. Let's keep the positivity my ARMY friends, FIGHTING!
Yeah, when i tell people that i am a fan of bts they look at me really judgemental and say"So you are an army, how could you." I get really annyoed at them
a visitor at my school was a sofi ticket operator who works for ticketmaster, he said he's never seen a fandom more organized than army because people were passing out water and helping each other out even inside the venue.
Being part of the BTS ARMY has really made me feel like I'm a part of something bigger you know? Like it's rare nowadays that you can watch history being made in music but that's truly what the tannies are doing. armys are somewhat just as famous as bts themselves which is what j-hope said in a recent interview, so it's nice to know that we are following in their footsteps and impacting pop culture in a positive way x
I’m not an Army but I work in the game development industry and I’m glad you’re already aware you’re just as important as anyone else in the project, because without the fandom there isn’t any support and way to continue to make what we’re making. We’re all literally part of it, and when people look back, it isn’t just the people in front of the cameras that made the history be possible, is everyone behind the cameras, wich means the fans at the time. Is why whenever I find out someone is an og Beatles fans I get just as excited and need them to tell me stories because they _created_ the beatlemania!! And it’s always very heart warming for them to realize that indeed that happened because of them as well and they wished they felt this sooner 🥹
Joining Army made me feel included, and I’m proud of that community. We are not perfect, but like BTS, we always try to improve to create a better environment for bts, for ourselves and for other. I’m proud to be an Army, I found my people here 💜
Positive? Have you been on twitter recently? An ARMY told me to k!ll myself and spammed me with threats until I deactivated my account. They say everyone in kpol are fake and lousy except for BTS. You call everyone flops and nugus. ARMY is full of hate
I will be celebrating my 10th year Anniversary as Bangtan's fan on May 26 and honestly, I don't have the privilege and luxury to buy BTS merchandise so I help with vote counting and streaming. I occasionally, when I have enough savings, buy BTS albums. Even though my room is not full of merch, my love for these seven boys extend way beyond the human eyes can see. It's deep. I am happy to be part of this fandom and I love being ARMY 💜
Wow... Happy 10th anniversary!! I'll be completing 6 years in July as well.. and it's pretty much the same.. I don't have merch or an official card but I support them with voting and streaming.. they bring me so much joy
Be proud of your love that has burned brightly for 10 years. I don't even have a room. Most of the time the feeling of belonging to the fandom is not there for me, since my practical contribution to it and BTS is so small it might as well be called insignificant. And although I know both the members and the ARMYs will tell me it's okay, that I matter, it still hurts.
even as of recent, armys have been proactive in encouraging other armys to post nice comments in Korean on weverse lives and translators posting different phrases we can use to flush out the spam and weird comments. so, yes to everything in this video!! I'm so happy to be a part of this bts journey with all of you.💜💜
i recommend “naver smartboard” app! it’s not perfect in translating but with it you don’t need to go back and forth with other translators bcs it’s more so like a keyboard add on👍👍
Proud to be part of the ARMY fandom, it is not perfect but all the true ARMYS out there are always the most dedicated, passionate, loyal and united in our love & support for each and every member of beloved Bangtan. There is no one like them, the connection we share with them is a very special thing that only Armys can understand. That's what makes them so loved, they are different from other Artists in the relationship they have with their Army which is so sincere and honest. BTS deserve everything for all that they do, they are always there for us, as we are with them. They have entertained & comforted us in difficult times. The impact they have made in ppls lives cannot be underestimated, they have been the biggest inspiration and we are thankful and blessed to have them xo
The truth is that before being an army in 2015 I was never a fan of another group or another artist like I am of BTS, the things that the army does that no one ever knows about I have never seen them do to another fandom, such as donations, being involved in different charitable items and being very concerned about the safety of the boys and their privacy before anyone thing The people who go to the places where the boys are must understand that before celebrities are people and as people, no matter how famous they are, they deserve their privacy and their time.If you want to see the boys, we always have different official activities, but please don't go looking for them, don't warn them and let them be the ones to share things with us honestly.
I'm not an official card carrying ARMY, but I am one at heart. Over the years, I have found myself amazed at the generosity, creativity, humor, and general positive energy of this group of people. They beautifully reflect what I feel is the true essence of BTS & I hope that their positive demeanor continues to outshine the few negative crazies out there. Thanks for reminding me how lovely this fandom is 💜.
@@what_what__ Thank you for clarifying their point. I believe that not having the money to pay for the membership (or being prevented from doing it by another reason) doesn't make a person not an ARMY.
The first night concert in LA (Nov 27 2021) was soo disorganized it was nuts. We were packed like sardines outside but all were nice and courteous, helping each other find gates, understand other languages. We even moved closer together when an ambulance had to get through for someone. My husband was very new army but has been to many concerts and was shocked by the peace and helpfulness of everyone. He commented that any other concert he had been to with this setup would have been a disaster and that ARMY was on another level.
The true Army's support the artistic career of Bts without invading their privacy, because these guys have brought us LIGHT, HOPE, HAPPINESS with their songs and that is what we all must be to them FANS AND THAT'S IT. Unfortunately in the fandom there are toxic people, people who only have a stan or bias, who don't follow the whole band but I'm convinced that REAL ARMY's are more. Thank you for this.💜💜
Real ARMY prioritize BTS safety, happiness and privacy, that’s it! 🤷🏼♀️ maybe our fandom is different because we don't speak empty words, when we say we love them we really do and we will treasure them forever with all our heart
Even though I dont know yall or BTS personally, you guys still feel like a family to me. Yall really bring me so much comfort. Thank you for being you, BORAHAE 💜
We/BTS Army are proud of ourselves but it is VERY important - even more important - for BTS to be proud of us. We KNOW we are a reflection of them in the broader community…so we work hard to live the message they want to deliver into the world.
THIS! BTS always go to bat for us when someone tries to drag the fandom, or call us crazy or something, and my feeling is that BTS wants to be as proud of us as we are of them. I feel like, 'Remember who you represent; don't shame our boys' is a good creed to keep in mind.
I don't have too many ARMYs around me to really talk about things and I am also not the type that is active online. But I am so glad that early on I realised what being an ARMY is. I will ever be thankful to the ARMYs who indirectly taught me to be the ARMY I am today and how proud I am to represent myself in front of everyone, including BTS. I wish that baby ARMYs get into the fandom understanding these facts and respecting these boundaries and making it a pleasant experience for themselves, as well as the other ARMY fellows they come across. Thank you for reminding timed again to be positive and smile at every criticism with so much grace and knowledge 💜🫂
The amount of power this holds like just saying ‘’I’m an army’’ makes you sound so…….. Powerful. as if a singular person = ARMY ARMYs are the most humanitarian fandom I have ever witness The fact that almost every birthday or celebration, ARMYs donate to organizations or come up with projects to help out their community or around the world, is amazing. So many kpop fandoms and locals don’t even see that! They are so focused on the negative side of things and refuse to see the positive things the fandom has done for others. Someone who is attracted to drama only, says a lot about kpop stans of other groups.
I've never been a fan of an artist. I only listened to music without caring about the artist, but when I got to know Armys and BTS everything changed. They became a part of my life, they became my friends, my role models, my support, my happiness.. I'm really proud to be part of this fandom that I'm really proud of, we need this video after Namjoon's live..We must remember who we are!! Thank you for your hardwork Bora City 💜
I really want to meet BTS one day, not to violate their privacy, but to say THANKS. I swear I've never found anything that made me as happy as they do in my life. Not only for the amazing music, but thanks to their strong message behind the songs Bangtan created this kind of community that our world NEEDS. You army for me are not just other fans, but a second family that reminds me how beautiful this world can be. and I really hope that the general public learns to open their minds and find out more about us, like this boracity channel I love more and more. Borahe💜
Agreed 100%, we argentinean armys had a situation when Jin arrived but after that we left him alone. I remember the majority of us didn't know where he was stayingand after he left most of us found out that a host had twitted the location the 2nd day but the armys who saw it didn't say anything until he left so it wouldn't get viral. The host was heavily criticed from us, we didn't want the info at all.
At 78 I have never been a real part of any other fandom, even some of the “Greats” though I loved their music. But I am ARMY! Thank you for another great video discussing the differences! 💜
I've always felt really uncomfortable with how people treat their favorite artist in their private time. We don't have a right to what they don't want to give. Consent is a very important thing in any relationship, including artist and fans, including parasocial relationships. Seeing the respect from ARMY made it so much easier for me to be a part of the fandom. Their generosity moves me. I went to the Las Vegas concert to feel a part of something bigger. I wanted to hear the chants. i wanted to feel the energy. I didn't expect gifts. i didn't expect the girl in front of me with the now famous Jhope "WOW" sign to let me know ahead of the concert that she had it and that she would not have it up for long and to apologize for the few moments she would hold it up. I did not expect the kind of community I saw. I still have the fanmade bracelet and photocard on my desk. its as precious to me as any of the merch i've bought (more so in some cases). The fans really are the other half of bts. there's something special there
I've been involved with my community and donating my time, money, and energy since the early 2000s. Right before the pandemic, the politics in the states got so bad that I started hating people and shifted all my donations toward canine organizations only. It wasn't until I found BTS at the end of 2020, that my heart softened again and I reshifted back to donating to the goodness of mankind. I haven't missed a donation for any of the boys' birthdays, comebacks, and OIAA campaigns. BTS and ARMY have restored my faith in humanity. I can't imagine myself in any other fandom. I love us. Thank you, always, for such an insightful video. Borahae!
this is such a heartwarming message. as a fellow person in the us - i agree, my faith in mankind plummeted around that same time. bts and army have been huge in rebuilding that faith again. finding out about OneInArmy and all the other service projects / charity drives done by armys in their local communities has driven me to tears so many times. it's been an honor to be a part of it. borahae army 💜
This video should be mandatory viewing for baby ARMYs, so they can understand our mindset and help keep it alive! I can't lie and say I never get frustrated with this fandom, but I think the fact that we often have these discussions about how we should act and what's right and think about what's best for the members, rather than our own selfish desires, is why I am proud to call myself an ARMY 💜
Thank you for this, especially the ending. I can say when I became ARMY I was truly shocked that it was militantly, self-regulated about not consuming paparazzi content. It wasn't until that moment that I realized I had been conditioned to normalize it. It always makes me sad that people think that ARMY sit around all day fighting with everyone... no... actually no. 😂 If all you see are ARMY fighting with you? Congrats, you have found your mirror image and you are also part of the problem. 95% of us are sitting in ARMY spaces talking music, performances, pictures, upcoming activities, various other content and yes, a decent amt of time fighting it out with each other about music opinions and ARMY actions. We really do not sit around all day talking about other musical acts and fandoms unless they infiltrate that space. It's just not interesting to us. We don't hate your k-pop band, but we also don't care about them, sorry.
When I went to the cinema to see the yet to come concert, two army were giving gifts to everyone that came in. They gave us a bts poster, a purple balloon, bts photocards and a purple lollipop
Speaking of loud minority toxic fans, just the other day Namjoon had to call out cringey comments he saw when he went Live. I know majority of the sensible ARMYs don't even look at the chat because it's enraging and embarrassing to see all the spams and nasty little comments but I highly encourage to go leave some nice messages the next time a member goes live. doolset has made a list of nice things you can say in Korean on their twt account. And also pls help flag spam messages like 'speak in English' or 'Yoongi marry me' or 'I'm [member's] wife.' I wasn't even online for Joonie's live but just seeing the clip of him saying the fandom's changed made me feel sad and embarrassed. :(
I watched it and some comments were … well, lets say that in most lives I was able to join since I made am weverse account the nice and good and joyful and encouraging comments (in english) just disappeared in a flood of cringy disrespectful and sometimes offensive comments. I was surprised and this was not what I expected from the fandom. Sometimes some ARMYs started to flood the comments with purple hearts and that was really sweet. I think it will change, now that namjoon called it out.
@@dopaminish2099 weeverse ARMYs need to be studied fr 😭😭😭 but i think the recent increase in the immature fans also probably coincide with BTS taking a break so not a lot of ARMYs are online as much anymore to counter them.
@@emh.6624 I think more ARMYs should return to weverse. The members are there, and they paused official group releases but not beeing there. If that is the reason, then we can not let that happen again. Bc then namjoon is right when he says ARMYs have changed when we left the chats to those who do not really care about them.
Well these "yoongi marry me", "I am x member's wife", jealousy, etc was bothering me for a while, I have been in the fandom for the last 6 years and I have never seen this much immaturity in the fandom before, it feels like it has been taken over by literal kids, Namjoon's call out was difenitely needed, its so embarrasing🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
We need to get into a habit of reporting those comments when we can. I never want them to feel bad spending time with us. Alot of antis also making accounts, so we need to be active in reporting to keep weverse a safe loving place for them.
I’ve never really been a fan of a group, I’ve liked artists and their music, watched interviews, regular stuff. But when BTS came along, I was in awe, shocked, I loved their music, their message, them personally, them as a group, then was impressed with ARMY. I now, LOVE them and ARMY! And proud to call myself ARMY. I’ve only cried while listening to songs a few times, but from BTS!😭😭😭 multiple, multiple times, happy tears, emotional tears, proud tears, all of it. I love when I see new videos up on anything BTS/ARMY related. I love these guys, and I love ARMY!! I’m ARMY, and I’m still amazed at what we/they do. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Oh so I am a toxic one I was just having a fucking opinion and I’m not the one doxing people because they have an opinion, and I hate K-pop, so don’t even call me a black panther fan because I hate them the fan ruin it for me
After Namjoon's live watching this video def hits different! Positive and non cringey comments on lives please - hold each other accountable! It hurt to hear Joon say we changed 😭
in a way, it's like the way bts are and treat other people respectfully, it's just attracted people who have become army because bts are genuinely good people themselves. they influence us in so many ways it's practically visible. all this fandom has is love and groundedness. every fandom has its downsides, but we come back together each time. people who talk bad about us are simply trying to make the "crazy, insane, demented fangirls" thing happen when it's not going to. the only people like that are ones that simply are not real fans and we call them out because we know who we are and that's why we're so big.
Another great video! Right around the time I started getting into BTS I also thought that ARMY would be toxic to the point I was afraid of engaging with the fandom, but I quickly found that the vast majority of armys are loving, caring people who support one another and do AMAZING things. As I've been in the fandom for over a year now, I'm starting to realize that much of the toxicity comes from s0l0s, casual fans who just want attention, or antis...Being a part of this fandom changed my perspective about celebrities as well, I no longer see the invasion of privacy of celebrities as something we are entitled to as public. BTS and ARMY taught me that and I'm so grateful to be a part of this fandom!
Before being ARMY I always looked down on the celebrity fandom culture due to the futile tone that was always presented to me but when I met them it was impossible not to be an ARMY and be proud of what our entire organization has already done I won't deny that I've tried to be a fan of other artists (kpop or western) and it never worked because nothing held me back like bts' music, sincerity and passion for what they do
Im new army i joined in 2021 and my perce3of fandom culture changed i always thought abiut crazy fandoms ,but when i started interacting with army j found that they themselves condemne acts that are harmful and hateful and encourage well mannerers and kindness I love you army borahe 💜💜💜💜
So proud to say that I'm an ARMY and I stand by the messages BTS' trying to spread through their music. It's like they are reminding us of a very famous quote which is "Be The Change You Wish To See In The World".
THANK YOU for always speaking on important topics within our fandom especially since it's grown exponentially that past few years!!! Your videos and channel should be spread everywhere with ALL armys 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 EVERYTHING mentioned in this video (and others) is so important to armys core values and needs to be constantly talked about and kept in the forefront in our minds and conversations (with no leniency in them); and ofc share this info to new fans since it's new and different to other fandom cultures!!
joining BTS ARMY is the one and only decision that I will never regret in my entire life. Even though I have never been able to buy their album because of my financial condition but I always feel proud to be a part of an ARMY and BTS borahae💜💜💜💜💜
Thank you so much for this. After the last few days, I really needed to see this. I have always called myself Army proudly. I have so much love for the absolutely amazing people in this fandom and everything we stand for. Thank you for making this. And thank you to Army for creating the kind of community that breeds authenticity and positivity. The world is a better place because each one of you are in it.
The ARMY culture is primarily the result of BTS being the most non-celebrity celebrities in the way they treat each other, view other artists, their art, and of course, how they respect their relationship with ARMY. When any member says, "trust us," we do, because they display integrity, gratitude, conscientiousness, and accountability for the impact they have on each other and on others.
Yeah, they are still totally genuine and passionate about their music and always give their 200% despite already being super famous. They could say “its okay, people will love whatever we put out cause they love us” but they dont. They always work hard like they are still 2013 rookies. They dont fake their love for each other either. Like you said, they are like non-celebrity celebrities in the way they act, but at the same time, they are very professional too and take their status and role seriously 💜
I was never a fan of any big artist before BTS, I thought that Directioners and Beliebers and every other fan of mainstream artists were crazy and out of control. When I was first introduced to BTS by my friends I did not instantly become a fan, I thought that they were like all the other singers who were shallow and only sang about girls and money. I was so surprised and shocked when I learnt that they are everything but that, they are the first famous people I have ever loved because they are so sincere. They are so talented, hardworking and passionate and kind and they inspire me everyday. These seven men taught me so much and I'll always be grateful to them, becoming ARMY was the best thing that I've ever done for myself and growing up with them is an honour. I'm so proud of the artists that I love and support and I'm so honoured to be part of ARMY who is kind and so involved with making the world a better place. ARMY is not like other fandoms, we are powerful and we are a force of good. Everyone please remember that no matter what anyone says, we are good and everything we do is to support BTS and each other. Do not spread hate because we are better than that, although we face constant opposition and hate, remember that you are not alone, you are part of ARMY and you will never walk alone. I love you all so much!! Borahae, BTS and ARMY forever!!
The private life of the guys has never been any of our business and I'm super glad that most Army get it and respect it. Although I have seen in passing recently that JK asked to be left alone while training because some fans tracked him down. I hope they saw the video and learn from it. When they are on stage or at official events they are BTS, when they are off stage they are just 7 guys with private lives.
Really even on twitter the pool of toxic armys is so small. It’s literally just the same 100 people every time. We are not half a a toxic as everyone likes to think we are. And I’ve also noticed that often times, bad behaviour from solo stans get pushed onto us.
i've been an army since 2015 and before that i was a directioner for years, and let me tell you.... armys are nowhere toxic. it doesn't matter how many times people say otherwise, or how some armys act, armys AREN'T and i'm sure we'll never be toxic. we have our problems, but these problems are minimal compared to how other fandoms act towards their faves and other people. we try our best to act in a way that would make bts proud, and i think we're achieving it.
I’m 33, from Indiana and have been an army since 2018. It changed my life. Saved me. I’ll always be forever grateful for the love they helped me give myself. 💜
It's 3am in my country! I will watch tomorrow!! And im still waiting about the video Hanteo sabotaging Jimin's sales, explanation and 700k they own us but silence... Great job!
This video made me feel so so proud. I had a constant smile on my face and feeling astonished. you see we always see how army are generous , caring , loving , respectful etc but like on different occasions but when you comply this in a video which you did it made me realise like wow we are really amazing and it's not for the name sake. no wonder we are so respected by our BTS. thank you for making this video and also for giving me a proud moment as a fan.
this is all true i have experience this so many times. armys are helpful caring and supportive of a fellow army. we are also hard on those who dont follow the rules. but luckily majority does. i have never seen a fandom do all of this before. and the translators who works everyday for free just to share BTS words with others. it´s truly amazing to see and be a part of.
You want to make me cry again, don’t you?! So proud of BTS AND ARMY. It’s so amazing what has transpired from this union of souls. 💜 thank you for this lovely video!
An example that's happened recently is when some weverse ARMY were spamming Namjoon on live to get his attention and a lot of twitter army banned together to figure out how to improve chat and the weverse experience in general. They figured out how to translate what they type into Korean and even gave each other phrases to copy/paste to chat. It's been a little over 24 hours an weverse is already a better place imo.
Honestly this video completely changed how I viewed the BTS fandom. I thought it was a toxic fandom full of people who harass Bts, but hearing the fandom do all these things are so sweet and considerate I can’t-
It just feels so sad to know that the loud, toxic minority of our fandom overshadows the majority of the actual (sweet, nice, kind, etc) fandom. People always view us as the bad ones without knowing what the good side of the fandom has done 😔
This made me cry.The amount of times we were called toxic is immeasurable. As an Army i learnt many good things from BTS also from the senior Armys of ours. The older Armys educate baby Armys alot and I'm one of the baby army who got to know about bangtan more deeply and also I've witnessed how Armys used to support bangtan from the start, used to motivate other Armys to support BTS. This shows how sweet Armys are, because Our idols are kind and generous so does we are. BTS raised us (ARMYS) very well. Thank you so much for making this video, letting everyone know what Armys are in actual. And if you are still here reading this, Armys lets always be down to earth and spread positivity like our Boys. Borahae all 💜
12:28 OMG this is so true when I went to Hobipalooza Army's started randomly gifting everybody photo cards & banners. I remember one girl in my circle had a bunch of Hobi & JK snapshot photos, and she handed me it so I could pass them out to everyone. Idk but I really liked handing it out and seeing Army's be confused at first but instantly light up (especially if it was their bias). 🙂
BTS always felt like best friends to armys .. the way they spread the message of love yourself and so many inspiring things that helped army .. it all gave the bangtan boys the exceptional love and respect from the fandom 💜
All I’ve ever seen from this fandom ever since I joined is graciousness, generosity, respect, dedication and support. That is what I recognize as Army. The minority toxic ones cannot even be called army or real fans and they exist in every fandom and they’re so much less in army because of what you said about army’s learning from BTS’s message …. So sick and tired of other fandoms calling army’s “toxic” either because maybe they disrespected BTS and some army wanted to educate them and defend BTS or because they came across the minority of wrong people who call themselves army or just because they want to clear their own name from being toxic by throwing army’s under the bus !
Great, inspiring content as always. - It took me awhile to commit to being Army after I fell in love with BTS, because I had heard that Army was toxic. I was wary. But after delving deeper into the fandom, I started to fall for Army as well. I took my son to the theater to see Yet To Come and he was SO touched by the sweet little gifts and the overall friendliness & respect. For me, Army is the icing on the cake.
I feel so proud ,I'm literally tearing . Let's continue this great culture and spreading it. Even sometimes I feel so embarrassed by toxic armys ,it feel so good to know that there are more fans who really care for them.
Watching this makes me so proud of being Army! I always think of how grateful I am to be alive during a time to witness not only the journey of BTS, but to also be apart of Army! I still recall joining my 1st BTS cup sleeve event and being so happy to be with others who love, respect and support BTS as much as I do, but seeing such a diverse group of individuals & celebrating the beauty of coming together & having BTS as our common ground. I think one of our best lessons learned from BTS is to not give up on ourselves & our dreams, but also we always have the choice to strive to be our best selves. Of course, the are many other good things we’ve learned from the members and from each other, but I know for sure I will remain Army 100% for the rest of my life! APOBANGPO! ♾️ BTS 💜🫶🏼💜 ARMY! 💜🐳💜
This is a blessing for me to know about BTS and be a part of them ; part of our family ARMY .Being a part of this fandom is an emotion which only ARMYs can understand . Thank you for this amazing video to let people know ARMY and BTS are much beyond their penny thoughts. APOBANGPO💜💜
Thank you! I really needed this so much - I was really starting to feel that I suck as an ARMY cause I can't keep up and do as much as I want and I can't defend them against so much hate, and this reminded me of all the good we all do all the time. Truly, thank you for making this for us💜💜💜
❣️As ALWAYS ... another well made video! I had to share it! You really understand every concept of telling the facts and wanting to spread a POSITIVE message about BTS with every video you create. Thank you! ARMY Proud, ARMY Strong! Purple friends... Spread the message! 💜
SUGA is releasing his solo album "D-Day" on Apr 21, 2023 at 1 PM KST. He is set to release a song on Apr 7, 2023 at 1PM KST as pre-release. Armys pls be ready to STRE@M, BUY, and SUPPORT.
watching the last bit currently breaks my heart because so MUCH has changed in the fandom. being on twitter the last few months has really made me believe that armys will only do good if it makes the tannies look good and it's so sad because so many people in the fandom prioritise their reputation over general morals. it's so hectic
We really are super big that it gets me that ppl will treat us like a monolith and think we all know what's going on in every aspect of our fandom. But we actually don't know what's going on in *every* sub-community (I mean, communities separated by socmed platforms), so it always gets me that outsiders will go onto a 2nd socmed platform to address an issue they have involving ARMY from a completely different platform and the majority of ARMY on that 2nd platform will have no idea what that person is talking abt.
I just recently had an internet conversation with a former Army that left bcs they had a few negative encounters with other Army’s online. And yes there are also toxic and fake Army’s but the majority of our fandom doesn’t want to be assigned to that crazy behaviour. Also most encounters I had with other Armys online & in person were so positive and respectful. But it‘s so sad how the media often wants to shape the picture of our fandom so negatively and wrong. But as long as we don’t let it faze us we will be unstoppable 🥳
Thank you so much for posting this video❤ In the recent live namjoon told that we have changed looking at those weird comments that was bothering me so much as mentioned in this video because of the few ppl who pretend to be army our fandom is always portrayed as crazy fangirls/boys... since the day I became army ppl around me use to tell your fandom is so toxic so you are crazy fangirl too I even know ppl who listen to bts watch all their contents but they never want themselves to call army as they think the fandom is toxic and they don't want to be called like that but I never listened to them for me all 7 members are so precious they helped me a lot to get out of the dark phase in my life... and I really love our fandom they are funny understanding helpful I'm proud to be an army and I will always be an army APOBANGPO💜
I've been part of some other big fandoms, including the Marvel fandom, and trust me, it was a lot more toxic than the BTS fandom. A lot of guys legit bullied me saying that girls are too dumb to understand the comic book lore and movies and that I can't be a real fan. BTS fandom's positive side outweighs the toxic side by a HUGE margin. Glad to be part of such a fandom.
I was waiting for this since I saw you asking in twt about the video of the market experiment. As and old directioner I can't agree more with everything you said. Till today, most fans feel proud of all this privacy invasions. Also, at the time they were active, we cared more about music than to check if they were healthy; almost seeing them as products. When I grew a little more and reached maturity, I realised how wrong that was, and I felt ashamed of being part of that. Since joining ARMY, I've been teached about multiple issues but especially about this one. I learned how a healthy relationship between us and our artists really is, and how much respect should be going around; for the first time ever, I felt like a person, not as a cd buyer. I'm grateful for finding BTS because now my knowledge is bigger, and I finally feel like I'm being sensitive about others people concerns. I improved in a lot of aspects I wanted, and I feel proud of it. For YTC concert on cinemas, I handmade purple bracelets as a freebie to anyone watching the film in my same room and, even though I was shy to hand them so I let that work to a fanbase that was giving freebies too, I was really happy to see everyone liking them. BTS and other army's have the power to motivate your generosity and want of good actions, and that, apart from incredible, is something to feel proud and to proof how different we are from others. Thanks for your amazing content💜
thank you for making this video. our fandom has grown exponentially since the pandemic and i feel like we're quickly losing the original values army had. videos like this help newer fans understand what is acceptable, and what isn't. their safety, above all. if you see a member, no you didn't. if you know where they are going to be somehow, no you don't. our boys show nothing but gratitude and grace, and we must do the same. period.
I love you boracity. Thank you for making me feel validated. As a Covid ARMY it is so reassuring to know I am part of such a wonderful community. Be healthy and continue the great work on these video essays...
Such a beautiful representation of what ARMY is and hopefully will continue to be in the future! 💜 You have taken a lot of time and effort to put this together and I commend you on your hard work yet again! I have such pride in ARMY! I love all that they represent on behalf of BTS and the fandom itself! I have received nothing but kindness from fellow ARMY! 💜💜💜♾☮️ #Borahae
I'm a once but I always saw and talked ab how most armys are very matured and respectful They usually spread positive energy And bc armys are the biggest, a specific fandom like to accuse armys to be the "most toxic fandom" to hide their own toxic fandom.
Thank you for this!!!!! Always good to be reminded of what we really stand for especially in those moments and I think important for baby ARMYs💜💜 Definitely the most beautiful and intelligent community I've seen and I'm now proudly a part of!!!
@@rosivlyz omg yes of course! Same! We got wristbands like we were attending an actual concert. ARMYs are so kind!
the people who work at our local cinema were really happy about us I have never understood why some just don't want to clean up for themselves it is not that hard
@@potternutmania I never got wristbands haha but that idea sound so cool!
yes and i remember all the hotels in the area was booked that´s why Jin posted that to avoid a mass outside and they listened. people even came from outside korea to say goodbye but never went.
So cool.
She really acted like she don't know tae...💜
Yeahh
She is really sweet 😚😚
Same girl. I went through literally the exact same experience with my sisters
same! bts really opened my eyes to a new way of experiencing music and fandom culture
They have absolutely raised the bar SO high, and in SO many ways. No one else is doing it like them and no other fandom is also doing it like ARMY is. 💜
I think most of us had a personality glow up after stanning bts and becoming army
I really love my fellow army so much
As a baby army most armys around me are kind, understanding and always ready to explain stuff
They also comforted me when my whole 1D thingy (idk what word to use) struck and I felt that bts would also never return from hiatus like 1D by telling me about different instances and helping me just trust bts and forget about other stuff
I love being in this fandom
Borahae army 💜
Edit- I used the word trauma very freely because I didn't really know what the word entails and so I wanna apologize to everyone here
@@nishthajain5806 I hope you are reassured by the content so far in chapter 2 as our Tannies cannot stop talking about how they look forward to 2025 (probably later). The solo fans are really annoying and using the situation, but time and time again our young men tell us how it is. I have such a big trust in them.
For those reading this, this is also a reminder that ARMYs should NOT go to J-Hope's enlistment ceremony. Thank you in advance!
Thank you for the reminder 🥰
And it also doesn’t help that UA-cam deletes our views a lot
army can we make this video go viral??? i really think all armys should see this and be reminded what being an army really means.
Yes!
Not only this video but this channel! Cuz it’s soooo sooo good!
no
how can we ? we can mention this video in various reactor's comment section . many army and new army see those stuffs .
YESSS! Namjoon's live is the perfect example.
Armys are now reporting these comments on weverse.....I scrolled 10 minutes on yesterday's yoongi post and didn't found a single YMM comment and I was like they listened to fast...I am so grateful 😂
@@sattkriti_pathak miracle miracle 😭🤌🏻
Yeah it's time we stop these immature comments.. it was good fun initially but it'd getting out of hand now.
Being part of the BTS ARMY has really made me feel like I'm a part of something bigger you know? Like it's rare nowadays that you can watch history being made in music but that's truly what the tannies are doing. armys are somewhat just as famous as bts themselves which is what j-hope said in a recent interview, so it's nice to know that we are following in their footsteps and impacting pop culture in a positive way x
true!!

Happy 10th Anniversary! I'm so happy you've stayed since the beginning!

There is no one like them, the connection we share with them is a very special thing that only Armys can understand. That's what makes them so loved, they are different from other Artists in the relationship they have with their Army which is so sincere and honest.

ARMYs are the most humanitarian fandom I have ever witness
The fact that almost every birthday or celebration, ARMYs donate to organizations or come up with projects to help out their community or around the world, is amazing. So many kpop fandoms and locals don’t even see that! They are so focused on the negative side of things and refuse to see the positive things the fandom has done for others. Someone who is attracted to drama only, says a lot about kpop stans of other groups.

Awww, thank you so much for all the donations.
The statement 'I love us'🥺🥺💜
I LOVE ARMYs. This is such a beautiful fandom. Thank you for this video.
I can't believe I not only get to experience Yoongi (first time I'll see any BTS member in real life)... but I also get to experience ARMY too.
Oh I’m going too! Not for the first time, but a heads up keep an open mind and brace yourself. It’s overwhelming (the good kind) have fun!! 💜
That last line resonates so hard with me.
Like sorry, but not sorry 🤷♀️😂
And also pls help flag spam messages like 'speak in English' or 'Yoongi marry me' or 'I'm [member's] wife.'
I wasn't even online for Joonie's live but just seeing the clip of him saying the fandom's changed made me feel sad and embarrassed. :(
I watched it and some comments were … well, lets say that in most lives I was able to join since I made am weverse account the nice and good and joyful and encouraging comments (in english) just disappeared in a flood of cringy disrespectful and sometimes offensive comments. I was surprised and this was not what I expected from the fandom. Sometimes some ARMYs started to flood the comments with purple hearts and that was really sweet.
I think it will change, now that namjoon called it out.
@@dopaminish2099 weeverse ARMYs need to be studied fr 😭😭😭
but i think the recent increase in the immature fans also probably coincide with BTS taking a break so not a lot of ARMYs are online as much anymore to counter them.
BTS values us (ARMY) so much, that's why we love them so much!
We really needed this video after Namjoon’s live.
ARMY is special and good. A loud minority of toxic people can never change that.
Oh so I am a toxic one I was just having a fucking opinion and I’m not the one doxing people because they have an opinion, and I hate K-pop, so don’t even call me a black panther fan because I hate them the fan ruin it for me
This channel is a treasure!!! Each video is so well articulated! I feel so proud to love BTS! Thanks!
We’re the best fandom on earth because we respect each other and the musicians that craft our fave jams. I 💜 ARMY.
Too bad you do not respect anyone else. ARMY is full of hate on twitter
This video made me cry, I’m so proud of army, I stan them as much as I stan BTS
Before being ARMY I always looked down on the celebrity fandom culture due to the futile tone that was always presented to me but when I met them it was impossible not to be an ARMY and be proud of what our entire organization has already done
I won't deny that I've tried to be a fan of other artists (kpop or western) and it never worked because nothing held me back like bts' music, sincerity and passion for what they do
Im new army i joined in 2021 and my perce3of fandom culture changed i always thought abiut crazy fandoms ,but when i started interacting with army j found that they themselves condemne acts that are harmful and hateful and encourage well mannerers and kindness
I love you army borahe 💜💜💜💜
@@aaazzz8324 Yes! I completely agree. We're on the same page about what we see/feel/experience with these seven human beings... 💜
Exactly I was so mad cos they need their privacy but I can assure you they are not true ARMY they are not . We don’t do that
Really even on twitter the pool of toxic armys is so small.
Great job!
R u from SK?
This video made me feel so so proud. I had a constant smile on my face and feeling astonished. you see we always see how army are generous , caring , loving , respectful etc but like on different occasions but when you comply this in a video which you did it made me realise like wow we are really amazing and it's not for the name sake. no wonder we are so respected by our BTS.
thank you for making this video and also for giving me a proud moment as a fan.
I'm so proud of our community for looking out for each other and the members.
I'm rewatching this and I'm once again crying because I am so proud of us ARMYs!!! For sure the boys are proud of us too 💜💜
this is all true i have experience this so many times. armys are helpful caring and supportive of a fellow army. we are also hard on those who dont follow the rules. but luckily majority does. i have never seen a fandom do all of this before. and the translators who works everyday for free just to share BTS words with others. it´s truly amazing to see and be a part of.
Woohoo!! I'm planning on bulk-buying energy bars to hand out to those in line at the Suga concert next month!! I love being an ARMY
Omg, thank you so much for creating this. This is melting my heart. Thank you BTS Army!!
Thank you too, ARMY 💜
bts helped a lot of under agers to self growth and to be a great person. Bts forever
Big respect to every army who respect bangtan’s privacy 💜
This made me cry… we have been through a lot. This magic shop really our safe place
I feel so proud ,I'm literally tearing . Let's continue this great culture and spreading it. Even sometimes I feel so embarrassed by toxic armys ,it feel so good to know that there are more fans who really care for them.
Absolutely loved every second of this video. So well done. ARMY is the most advanced civilization on planet Earth. Thank you for highlighting why. 💜
APOBANGPO💜💜
this is the first and only fandom I've been significantly involved in and I'm so proud of ARMY. I hope we keep integrity for a long time 💜
With BTS we are always fed, we are getting back to back music, contents, concerts, dance practices even in their HIATUS, truly no one like BTS💜💜
watching the last bit currently breaks my heart because so MUCH has changed in the fandom. being on twitter the last few months has really made me believe that armys will only do good if it makes the tannies look good and it's so sad because so many people in the fandom prioritise their reputation over general morals. it's so hectic
Thank you so much for posting this video❤ In the recent live namjoon told that we have changed looking at those weird comments that was bothering me so much as mentioned in this video because of the few ppl who pretend to be army our fandom is always portrayed as crazy fangirls/boys... since the day I became army ppl around me use to tell your fandom is so toxic so you are crazy fangirl too I even know ppl who listen to bts watch all their contents but they never want themselves to call army as they think the fandom is toxic and they don't want to be called like that but I never listened to them for me all 7 members are so precious they helped me a lot to get out of the dark phase in my life... and I really love our fandom they are funny understanding helpful I'm proud to be an army and I will always be an army APOBANGPO💜
apobangpo army! 💜
it hurt when the real fans get exploit just because of the toxic one
This video is so informative especially now that we are in serious need of self reflection as a fandom and what we really stand for
thank you for making this video. our fandom has grown exponentially since the pandemic and i feel like we're quickly losing the original values army had. videos like this help newer fans understand what is acceptable, and what isn't. their safety, above all. if you see a member, no you didn't. if you know where they are going to be somehow, no you don't. our boys show nothing but gratitude and grace, and we must do the same. period.
I love you boracity. Thank you for making me feel validated. As a Covid ARMY it is so reassuring to know I am part of such a wonderful community. Be healthy and continue the great work on these video essays...
That worry in Tae's eyes in the end... No, we are not gonna leave you dear no matter what 😊💜
Os seus vídeos me fazem sentir ainda mais orgulho de ser Army🍷💜
Same, i an a new army, but i am a very proud army💜
total💜🍷
Such a beautiful representation of what ARMY is and hopefully will continue to be in the future! 💜 You have taken a lot of time and effort to put this together and I commend you on your hard work yet again! I have such pride in ARMY! I love all that they represent on behalf of BTS and the fandom itself! I have received nothing but kindness from fellow ARMY! 💜💜💜♾☮️ #Borahae
no matter what respecting their privacy and their safety is always important
I'm a once but I always saw and talked ab how most armys are very matured and respectful
They usually spread positive energy
And bc armys are the biggest, a specific fandom like to accuse armys to be the "most toxic fandom" to hide their own toxic fandom.
Thank you for this!!!!! Always good to be reminded of what we really stand for especially in those moments and I think important for baby ARMYs💜💜
Definitely the most beautiful and intelligent community I've seen and I'm now proudly a part of!!!
honestly ever I joined the BTS army I haven't only been influenced by BTS to be a better person but also the fandom. I almost cried watching this❤
