never has anyone been more deserving of this award. tina is in a class with george carlin and richard pryor. a lot of the comedians selected aren't even political, and of course we all know that mark twain was fiercely political, and the idea that robin williams, dave chappelle, or chris rock aren't in this club should piss you off.
I have no clue why Robin was never selected, but Dave and Chris have theirs now. And to be quite honest, Tina Fey has been more hard working than either of those guys (Dave is my favorite of all time by the way). She is undeniably a genius, the numbers she put up for SNL and 30 Rock ALONE prove that. You simply don't get to be a head writer at SNL for 7 years (most successful of modern years as far as I know, too). Or have a show running for 7 seasons on a major network just because she's a woman.
