@kathilisi3019 interesting to learn that it's less evident in other places! There used to be this great pizza place near Green Valley Ranch Casino and The Cheesecake Factory in Las Vegas/Henderson, NV. The owner went to Italy to learn how to make them and brought what he needed back with him. They could still be there, but that was about 15 or 20 years ago (if you ever happen to be there).
You two are a fun couple and get along well together. I can well imagine that Mike misses good pizza. There`s nothing like an original freshly baked Italian pizza and a glass of good wine with it. Lovely Greetings from the north sea coast of Germany.💞🙂🍷🍕

Very fun video! When I am in the US I miss licorice. The Twizzlers are only a faint remembrance of it. And of late I miss decent food. The fast food outlets are becoming more annoying. The quality really sucks. On my last trip I made it a point to visit a Chipotle for the first time. I was not impressed. Another item I miss occasionally is a good cake. Once I have a craving for Kuchen I find myself persuaded by the nice looks of what is at the bakery section. But traditional cake, as in Torte, never makes the taste test and I throw it away after some bites. Cookies are another thing which is okay.

McD’s has different market strategies. In the US they want to be cheap and consistent across 50 states, which is possible with large scales and low wages. Germany/Austria/Switzerland are all smaller markets with higher wages/cost of labor, so they can’t compete on price like in the US but they can compete on quality and novelty. I also only go to McD’s in Europe. In the US it’s trash and I am happy to pay 2x or 3x to go anywhere else.
I’ve only tried McDonalds in Denmark, England and China and all three have been very good and as delicious as you could expect from a burger-joint. The Chinese burgers was slightly more spicy than the European burgers, but really tasty.

A large Pizza in the US is much bigger than a Large in Germany and is still cheaper. I Get one for 12-14 Dollars. Depends obviously where you go, but its cheaper in the US. You pay at least 16€ in Germany for a Large Pizza.

Maybe McDonalds in Germany is better than in USA, but in the USA you have way more burger chains as we have in Germany. Why dont you eat somewhere else, they dont offer all the same. Actually there are much better burgers than McDonalds. and i dont mean BurgerKing. What about Carls Jr, Wendy, Fatburger, In n Out, Jack in the Box, Five Guys etc. pp.?
Mikes favorite fast food chain is Wendy’s. Unfortunately the Wendy’s near our home are really horrible customer service. It takes 30+ minutes to get a meal sooo we never go 😂
Jack In the Box has died in the majority of the US. In and Out is a California place. It spread to Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, and Utah. What's Carl Jr,'s and Fatburger? Five Guys is overrated crap and ridiculously expensive. I'll go to Cheddars to get a burger thats $2 less and it'll be 10 times better. The food is fresh ingredients made from scratch. If I want to pay the same amount t as Five Guys I'll go to Blues Burger and get Grass-fed organic meat. The lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, and potatoes for French fries is also organic.

Hi, about old or look like old buildings there is the art deco viertel in miami(?). Maybe its not really old but it looks so and the colours (they have a special name but i dont remember).
it is quite rare to come by.... I don't think there is anything similar to the Bavarian roads in Florida... It is also very "Americanized" roads here... I know in other states it is not the same but in Florida it is very "basic" when it comes to streets/roads.
There are some small hills in Clermont in the central part of the state, and the highest point in the entire state is in the north near Alabama. It's only 105 m high. You can live at higher altitude in an tower in Miami than at any natural height in the state.
@@HayleyAlexis not sure if my heart is prepared for that xD well at the end scene, when you both found some "snacks" at the supermarket, you got some pizza for a cvery cheap price. but how is that huuuuuuuuuge difference to the restaurant possible (and how the frog are those restaurants still running) when you seemed to be dissapointed with your italian pizza there? greetings dear Hayley
Yeah... unfortunately a lot of restaurants here are ridiculously priced. I personally don't know how they are still running but they are and the crazy thing is people pay for it!!
@@HayleyAlexis I have to admit that I haven’t tried many types of pizza in the US, but the ones I did were very good and more flavorful… or maybe it was the Ranch I dipped it into. I am originally from Romania and we spread garlic sauce on pizzas, so dipping it into ranch was just heavenly for me. I believe the issue is me living in Duisburg, NRW. There really aren’t that great Italian pizza places in my area, so maybe I am biased. I do remember eating a good pizza in Würzburg so maybe I just have to go further south for better pizza. 😅 I didn’t really eat much pizza because there were better things to eat like Mexican food, American Asian food, chicken on waffles, mac and cheese… oh God… Hmm 🤔 My boyfriend asked me if I wanted to go to the U.S. for Christmas again and I think the food alone is enough to convince me fly for like 12 hours 🤣

No you can't walk there Mike. It's somebody else's property. It belongs to the Alligators and the Burmese Pythons.
🤣🤣🤣
@@jessicaely2521 I agree about Five guys (which we have in Germany, too).
Currywurst im Bergwolf würde ich vermissen. 😢
My bf was very not cool with the US four-way stops hahaha
Hi, about old or look like old buildings there is the art deco viertel in miami(?). Maybe its not really old but it looks so and the colours (they have a special name but i dont remember).
Wynwood... Ehh... I am not the biggest fan but it is interesting to walk through but it in my opinion does not top an old European street
There must be some slight Hills in Florida as well, aren't there? Und McDoof kann mir gestohlen bleiben. 😅
it is quite rare to come by....
No there isn't. The tallest point in Florida is Space Mountain at Disney World.
Does Mike live in the U.S. now or just visiting? Enjoy watching you guys!
He’s lives in the US.
He lives in the US.
He lives here ☺️
@@HayleyAlexis Yay! Happy for you both!
THIRTY Bucks for a Pizza?!?!?!?!?!?! do you get a massage after eating your dinner there or how are these prices justified?!
YOu would think..... Wait til you find out about insurance pricing!
@@HayleyAlexis not sure if my heart is prepared for that xD
well at the end scene, when you both found some "snacks" at the supermarket, you got some pizza for a cvery cheap price.
but how is that huuuuuuuuuge difference to the restaurant possible (and how the frog are those restaurants still running) when you seemed to be dissapointed with your italian pizza there? greetings dear Hayley
Yeah... unfortunately a lot of restaurants here are ridiculously priced. I personally don't know how they are still running but they are and the crazy thing is people pay for it!!
Weißwurst ?
Mike is losing his German Accent and seems way more friendly 😄 👍🏼
Funny… I prefer American pizza to German pizza… at least the German pizza in NRW…
That is very interesting.. What do you like about the US pizza??
@@HayleyAlexis I have to admit that I haven’t tried many types of pizza in the US, but the ones I did were very good and more flavorful… or maybe it was the Ranch I dipped it into. I am originally from Romania and we spread garlic sauce on pizzas, so dipping it into ranch was just heavenly for me.
I believe the issue is me living in Duisburg, NRW. There really aren’t that great Italian pizza places in my area, so maybe I am biased. I do remember eating a good pizza in Würzburg so maybe I just have to go further south for better pizza. 😅
I didn’t really eat much pizza because there were better things to eat like Mexican food, American Asian food, chicken on waffles, mac and cheese… oh God… Hmm 🤔 My boyfriend asked me if I wanted to go to the U.S. for Christmas again and I think the food alone is enough to convince me fly for like 12 hours 🤣
Oh no! I just returned from a trip to Germany, and the food was so much better there!! I miss it a lot, even though I love to live in the US! But the food is one thing for sure that is better in Germany!
@@margritjones7934 I’m actually interested. What kind of food do you miss? Is it pastries or an actual meal? 😅

what about weißbier?
You get weißbier in some parts of the US. It's mostly your heavy German populated areas (Tennessee, Wisconsin, Illinois, parts of Texas, etc). I was in Tennessee and there was a fantastic International Food, Beer, and Wine market. The beers were from every country that have their own beer brand.
US Pizza is horrible, sorry . In 16 years I ate maybe 2 Pizzas 😂
So, jetzt simma fertig 😂
boar, seid ihr süß
just paid 20euro for my l'Osteria pizza but it was worth it
It´s so funny when you mix english and german. And can´t live in a Region without tiny Hills. Apple Gardens and Vine Gardens everywhere. The only Problem here: In Winter is so less Snow here. Scheiß Klimawandel.
I wish you alles Gute and kommt mal wieder nach dem guten alten Europa. 😉😉😉
😂
There are two Jahreszeiten: Snowbird season and AC season.
