A bit of enemy design I found was the mummy enemies, the gibdos? They can be burned with the fire seeds, and the turn into very angry bouncing skeletons. I don't recommend burning them.
It's not that you have to knock all the beetles into the pit at the same time, it's just that there's 8 in total instead of only 4 like last time, with the additional ones only spawning as the initial 4 are defeated.
Congrats on reaching the end of another adventure. Looking forward to seeing your playthrough of Seasons in the future (and trying to see if I remember anything that happens in that game). Keep up the good work ^_^
I’ve never played these oracle games and yet you’re able to give enough info that I don’t ever feel lost in these episodes. Looking forward to Seasons.
@@Mer.Saloon I was fortunate enough to have both games when I was younger so I eventually got to see what was there. But I definitely don't do the password system every time I play through and seeing that gray block exacerbates my OCD.
heres something to brighten your day: you literally cannot fill in all the spaces on the map due to some linked game schenanigans, so good thing you didnt try to lol.
I'm not doing a full unlinked playthrough of Seasons or a full linked playthrough of Ages. I have scripted a couple episodes to discuss some differences.
Now that it's over, not that I playe dit but going by what I've seen, this game has been a very interesting look at what an outside time goes for when they get to play in the Zelda sandlot. A lot of things that seem like cool ideas but end up a little undercooked like the animal companions, a lot of linearity and dialogue for what's supposed to be a Game Boy game because this is an adventure and those need dialogues, a lot of callbacks to Ocarina of Time in the trade quest and first Zelda in many ways... it's a game that feels like it'd be a little frustrating to play, even if it does have a lot of cool stuff in it. But I also feel like this teams 2D magnum opus is definitely Minish Cap, and I wonder if seeing Oracle of Seasons will make me change my mind.
I just realized after all of these years that Ralph is part Piratian! I'll bet he has a skeleton inside of him...
I've been following since Majora's Mask. I can't wait for Seasons. You're doing amazing work Paul! Keep it up!

Good to know

That single unreachable screen on the map drives me absolutely crazy!
Agree!
It's only reachable in a linked game after seasons. Infuriatingly enough.

This IS a time traveling adventure. I still haven't finished it lol.
Thanks for finishing it for me :)

I wound up finding that out, lol. I went back and filled in the map after completing the game so I'd have screen shots of the whole map
Underrated
I wonder if the Link in the new Zelda game is this Link
I wonder if they will do any sort of timeline placement, considering they haven't for BOTW and TOTK.
Are you doing linked versions of Ages and Seasons after this, because of the games having differences if you aren't doing a fresh playthrough?
