This was probably my favorite portion of the game, due in no small part to the amazing music they use for Tarm Ruins/Lost Woods. It conveys a great sense of mystery and magic in its short 34 second loop.
I realized when I was a kid, you actually don't have to play through any of the trade quest if you already know the secret to get to the sword, haven't done it ever again 😅
Invite Rosa to a date, pick up some lava soup and then give her NOTHING? Link is officially a terrible date. I feel like the whole sequence with the question mark island, and the statue you should push in winter but didn't, points to a lot of the puzzles here feeling like puzzles where you really go through every possibly solution until the very LAST possible one is the correct one. Like there's quite a few puzzles here where the logic behind it really does take some pretty substantial jumps before you finally nail the landing. At least the temple seems far more intuitive, even if the build-up takes some time. Really feels like a temple that's very big and ambitious for a Game Boy-game, though I'm kinda curious if it's just the bosses being reused from LoZ1, or if it's also the temple designs?
@@goranisacson2502 True about Link being a poor date 😁 The dungeons are unique to each Oracle game. There's one dungeon in each game with a shape that's very similar to a LOZ dungeon, but most of the dungeon contents, room layouts, and puzzles are for the most part unique.
Love these videos!!! Look forward to watching them every week!!!
Tarm Ruins is a great showcase of the potential of the season mechanic that sadly never gets a proper follow up IMO>

@@bibyzan02 Good to know!
Thanks!
Again, great time had by all.
Question, did you mention the gba exclusive shop?
@@CthulhuCrisis I haven't mentioned it so far but I have an episode planned that will touch on it.
It's a pyramid :D
I think you put next week's title.
@@saphiriathebluedragonknight375 I fixed it, thanks
