    Thank you for the recipe. I haven’t lived in East St. Louis since I was eight years old. Only get this taste when family comes to visit. Wish I had thought to look this up when my mother was still alive.

    Girl I’ve made this rice 3xs and it hits every time. I live in the Lou but when I’m on a budget it definitely gets the job done. Thanks for the recipe.

      You have to use dark soy sauce

    I love my shrimp fried rice brown too. How much soy sauce do you use so that it won't be super salty?

    • @Twelve6Luxury
      @Twelve6Luxury  3 роки тому +2

      Lol dark rice is the best rice. It’s always best to add less and then continue to add more as needed as far as the soy sauce. I would start with 1/3 of a cup first then go from there

    When using your cutting board, please put a damp towel, paper works, to prevent that board from sliding around on the counter. Sliding of your board cans be dangerous. I’m going to try your recipe. Thanks

    Has anyone ever added a can of diced tomatoes to this recipe?
    Just seems like it would be good with the tomatoes.
