Great idea, the only thing I can think of to make it better would be acme thread to allow continued high volume usage without stripping the threads of the bolt and the bead buster body. You can thank me later, and I will gladly take a commission, haha! Great tool!!
I had a bead that would not break off! What worked was my trailer hooked to my truck put tire under trailer lift and cranked down popped the bead easy and fast just a tip with no money spent! Lawn service guy!
A simple tip........in getting tires off that are rusted on. Apply heat to the rim......just hot enough so you cant touch it .....no harm to the paint or the rim. Makes the tire rubber much more ply able and easy to remove !
great vid i will say tho ive found it alot easier to push the tire onto the rim rather than push rim into tire if that makes sense i do my own quad tires and semis for a living
Hi I bought one on eBay and it broke after like 5 tire changes can I get a replacement or something. I really how it worked. The bottom plate that’s welded broke off from the welds. Thanks
I'm going to get this because I have a 50cc scooter that recently had a flat tire and broken valve stem Discount Tire is near me but doesn't fix motorcycle tires and there's no motorcycle tire shop near me and this tool will help next time it happens But can you tell me what the difference is between the XB-455 and the X-450 other than the color? 🤔
Yes, we are selling a lot of these. The idea originated while trying to change ATV tires. Since then, people have figured out this tool can be used on a lot of different vehicles.
You left out the part when you spray brake clean into the tire and set the bead!! Everytime I do it it leaves the tire with 12 PSI. Damndest thing I've ever seen.
I wish these guys would actually use a tire/rim that has not been prepped ahead of time. Use something real world so we can get a feel of what may be encountered.
Your point is valid. The tire used in this demonstration has been changed 100 times and was very easy to break the bead on. We do realize that some tires are a bear to change. Here is a link to a video from a stubborn tire which has been on the rim for many years and never had the bead broken. Thanks for your suggestion. ua-cam.com/video/Rd-kmbmK45Q/v-deo.html&ab_channel=BeadBuster
It does seem like pushing the bead further down would eliminate the need to reposition the tool, but if the bead is really stuck to the rim, it's easier to just move the tool over and get the bead loose in a second or third location.
No, you should move the tool. Too much pressure in one place can bend the wire in the bead and put a kink in it. Same for all big tires. But if it a tube type, don't matter as much.
This tool is designed to break the bead without causing any damage to the tire or rim. However, the tire used in this video is a demo tire which has been used for all of our trade shows. We have performed literally thousands of demonstrations on this tire, breaking the bead and using tire spoons to remove the tire. You observation is correct. Changing a tire thousands of times will it out. Normal use does not cause any wear.
You are right that old tires on old rims are much more difficult to get loose. We still have not found one that the BeadBuster cannot remove easily and quickly.
Please contact us for a free warranty replacement, no questions asked about what caused a bolt to be stripped out. We want all our customers to have a good experience.
@@warren6504 this was about 4 years ago lasted about three UTV tires over course of about 1 month then bolt stripped out and I threw it away, I do not have unit anymore, deer4me2002@yahoo.com

Also works well in conjunction with slide hammer and soap.

You selling a lot of these? Seems like a cool idea.

Yes. Please visit our website for more details about the product and applications
Worked for me.
How are people expected to have these at home if tires only need replacing like once a year?
Enh... I got 2 mini bikes, a motorcycle, and a go kart.

I used to do that too, please watch Bridgestone video PYROLYSIS!

It looks like it damaged the bed of the tire.
