I like how every player just encounters the terrormorphs and doesnt think too much of them and then later learns that they are terrifying unstoppable killing machines to the NPC's.
@@OdiOneKenobi The loot cycle is very engaging and fun. The new game + function is awesome. Each playthrough is a little different. The game has multiple easter eggs and hidden quests that dont spawn in the same spot every ng+. I just started my ng+ 3 run. My first one I married Sarah and was a good guy. My second I skipped the main quest and was morally bankrupt. Now that I'm lvl 51 with all my ship skills I set a ng+ 3 so I can easily lvl to 60 through questing. I did all the faction quests. The side quests are great but take time to find. The ending is cool as it gives you results on the choices you made during your run.
@@jeddediajohnson9179 I was expecting you to say anything, but loot cycle? So far all it caused me is frustration from overcumbrance and poor interface and there are always those small little things that always get in the way of me enjoying and immersing myself in the game.
@@OdiOneKenobi I pay attention to what Im looting and it's weight. Every Bethesda game has a similar loot system. Starfields loot is really cool. I like the weapon mods and progression more than any past Bethesda game as well. For me the fun is getting lucky on loot drops. Calculating my next or current run or trying new paths faction wise. With the ng+ reseting your loot you tend to use more of the different types of weapons and skills. Not only that the loot improves as you lvl (up to 70) but even when you max out you can get better mod rolls. Your going to have a bad time if you just grab everything and want to sort it at the store. Its better for you to consider the loot as you get it. This adds immersion for me as Bethesda tends to hide lots of story telling in the environment. Carefully considering everything you come across helps you discover those little side stories.
@@jeddediajohnson9179This might actually be the difference between people like us, and people who complain about loot. Did you happen to run Frostfall/Campfire and iNeed in Skyrim or Survival in Fallout 4? To me, part of the fun is the inventory management, learning what is and isn't worth taking, prioritizing items and kicking myself later for writing something off as not worth it, only to find out I now could use it. Makes me pay attention, take note of things. The game isn't going to put a marker down on a good Tungsten deposit for me, so it is my job to remember where it is and come back to it later when I have the right skills to extract it.

This game made me rethink life. The existential crisis line hit on point lmao. I wish people understood the game but they hate on it without actually feeling the game. Nice vid so far.
I am absolutely convinced that 90% of the negativity towards Starfield would be present no matter what the game actually was, for the sole reason that it's a Bethesda game and people love to hate Todd Howard. A large subset of people made their minds up about what they were going to say about the game before it even came out.
you forget about the exclusivity aswell. even if the game gets extremely good later on i doubt they will give it the cyberpunk 2077 treatment simply because it's bethesda.
I went into Starfield wanting a good RPG. Not a space sim or anything like that. And it gave me everything I wanted. I think this is bethesdas best game in terms of role playing. I never felt like I was actually my character without head cannoning in previous games. Skyrim just had really blank slate dialogue without much ability to put personality into your choices and Fallout 4 REALLY locked you into being a specific character. But Starfield has been so fun as an RPG
Innit that the problem tho- he didn't market this to you, you probably love his other games. He marketed this to my side of the gaming sphere. Where Bethesda was already a joke and all the games he stole from to make this one are.

I didn't know about it either until it happened to me. It was stressful when I was fighting with knives with the enemy crew while the UC soldier was trying to contact us and find out what was going on. The ship is far from the best, but it was fun
Not only does it happen, but it actually seems to happen a lot to me. I keep trying to steal ships I think look cool and have found myself in space multiple times now.
