Arctic Cat's frames are a ton better than Can Am's, too... I've noticed the transmissions hold better as well. My Cat has only had one problem and it blew up, but it was my fault at 20,000 miles. I cleaned the carb wrong and wiped all of the adhesive off and made it stick, which flooded the crank and busted it. The only major problems were with 2004-2008, the new motors are fine.
Great video, I have a 2017 700 Mudpro and I ride with a 2018 CanAm XMR 1000. Sure the CanAm is much faster but there's yet to be a Mud hole we both couldn't get through. I paid 15k and he paid 23k Factor the price and My Cat can go anywhere the XMR does.
you could all that shit with half of the power on a honda those arcticats suck for their price they dont last long but man yall still are badass drivers good video
I liked mine. It was only a 400, manual with low and high range. The only real problem with it was the front ball joints. Always going bad. Wheel bearings arent that great either. I had almost 3,000 miles on it when i sold it. It was mechanically in great shape.
@tomragan07 I know what u mean by hills of ice, i ride in Maine and the hills are covered in ice, and even if you find a place where theres no ice the grass is frozen and slick anyway.
Actually bud, I could of spent less money and bought a can-am, same power but I decided to go with the arctic cat because the reviews on can-ams a terrible and arctic cats are amazing. Also alot of my friends have arctic cats and theyve never had problems with them while my other friends dont and they spend more time fixing them then they do riding them
@88annedr how do arctic cats suck, they've won the last 2 mud nationals, alot of people have them, they have the highest stock ground clearance, and a great motor.
20,000 miles, only on this odo, the other had 400 or so, but it was flipped and was replaced. 5 speed manual 500cc isn't gutless, more pulling power than your little CVT drive. My piece of shit would go places your little Can Am would never dream of.

Arctic cat is just cheap atv for "every job" but not not best in any class. Can-am is best in fast trails jumping and very tough machine but it is not good in deep mud if it is a stock. Many atv vs. review proof that.
You must think it's gay because you can't ride one. Also, you spelled "your friend has an 800" wrong and I'm pretty sure that your 650's size is physically smaller and lighter than my 500.

On an ATV all it does is put a plate to mount your suspension on, I have one. Can Am's suspension is crap compared to Arctic Cat's.
