Respect for having stockish exhaust Thundercat, look how much happier everyones ears are for it and still pounded through that deep Skeg like a boss!
Wow.... back when some of you guys rode something other than Can Ams.
Cats 700 and 951 V-twin engines are bullet proof.... for many years now. No wonder they powered through. Modded?? as the post says? Probably not..... Nice to see someone not hiding the fact that AC build some tough Mudd machines. I own a T-Cat and it has been rock solid. 2200 miles on it an not a single issue. And it's stupid powerful
dont undastand they dont built the 1000s anymore !?
That's boy, I'm still running my 08' thunder cat.
Honestly been bullet proof besides u joints wearing. Pulled many machines mostly can am and Polaris home they're decent machines but don't hold up like the big cats when spending the same amount of cash on each. Pulled home a 2 year old can am poor guy cooked his belt not even pushing it and used his replacement the month before. He knew his shit too so the sheeves we're fine and he only had 27"s on her, he was pissed mine was full of water (disassemble and cleaned it once back in shop) I drained then finished the ride. Wet clutch doesn't grab as fast and is heavier but they're advantages far out weighs can am/polaris' approach.
But where you ride how you ride plays just as big a part as Arctic cat being the best 😉
@@johnserrano9689 if they would have put they would have put the wildcat x engine in an alterra chassis
have to love seeing two cats passing by two stuck "canned hams" ! this video made my day
10 years later still one of my favorite videos
Heck ya!
Good thing about cats is that they are light and have a good ground clearance from stock.
Canadian Custom ATV don’t forget reliability too
You have THE BEST atv mudding videos on the tube keep them coming :) Thanks
My atc 200 could go through that lol Nice atvs guys keep it up, wish thier were more trails here in ny to ride.
awesome looking trail..wish it was closer to me
yes the mudpro 1000 does have such clearance lol i love mine
nice. i was impressed with the first mudpro (green 700) then the white 1000 tears it a new one. sick vid.
looks like wayyy to much fun :D
Impressed with the cats here. The clearance they have is impressive. Can am power is sick to though
Those Mud Pros shure look good !!!
Damn impressive, Thats some thick stuff to get through. Hopefully one day you's can come give Northern Ontario's Muskeg a go.
Awesome video 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Oh man does that look like fun!
tht is some crazy mud
ooo the soupie good ness lol there is were you can put the belt drive to the test lol, sic vid to love how you got the camera man muddy.
everyone should buy an arctic cat quad they are soo frickin good. the engineering that went into they're machines is so good, it must have taking millions of dollars to find 12 of below average intelligent primates and put them all into a room together with a quad in the middle.
Love that kind of mud;p
Thats crazy!
@ostacruiser do u break any or what size tires do u start to break them
What tires are they running
Down Here in South Carolina we don't have the pleasure of experiencing that kind of mud. We mostly have lye, a mix of Sand Clay, Clay, and some good old swamp silt. Looks like some hard riding ahead too.
its fun to see other bikes than just the can ams (because basicly everyone uses emm)
How much horses does a 2012 stock thundercat h2 1000 have?
is that stock exhaust on the second mudpro
arctic cat always going far and can am always stuck! mouahahahahaha! go go go arctic cat!
That was great. What was all the smoke from the last MudPro?
ID SAY ARCTIC CAT 1 CANAM 0!! LOL
Muskeg is my favorite mud. Thats mostly what we got here in Manitoba too.
All stock axles? Im thinking about putting 29.5s on my bike. 08 arctic cat 650 H1. Clutched and everythin. Will it break my axles? Thanks
@mudpro102 Not sure why he took them out, maybe clearance for the 31"s?
@ostacruiser what does sld kit do ?
So, osta, when you winch to the trees, do they just pull out of the ground sometimes?
Yes the dead ones for sure
why are the headlights knocked out on the 700??
Not too sure on the Cats. I know they had some b ear ith weak stock axles, the new 2011 ad up Mudpro axles are supposed to be strong now though
but that cats they dont have to worry about that stuff lol
is that outlaws on that first mud pro??
Smoked belt at the end, had an arctic cat not a fan at all but good to see them in the vid
how fast does the 1000cc go?
did u have any trouble geting though that stuff
@rollhard6 It's like a thick mat of grass and plant roots over mud or water, once it's stirred up it's like a big decaying plant soup.....lol....smells fantastic!!!!
like the vids. you need to have more variety like this instead of can ams all the time. Polaris, yamaha, suzuki,Arctic cat, kawasaki,Honda. I like all machines. I drive a Polaris 2015 850 but have owned many others. great vid
Fantastically Dillon no other machines other than Polaris have the power do this kind of a riding as you can see the cats struggled
REBEL RIDERS it really comes down to ground clearance, tires, amd clutching. can am and polaris even being big power big bore maxhines, still need all of that. look at osta machine. not anything stock except motor and plastics lol
How heavy are arctic cats.
@mudpimp Thanks, It was steam from the motor
Where abouts in Northern Sask? I live in Lloyd but grew up in St.Louis. LOVE THE SKEG no other mud comes close to an adventure!
They should be a great tire, like the zillas except deeper treads. I have not seen any in action yet though
How are those arctic cats stacking up to the outlanders reliability wise?
They broke every trip out, no one runs them anymore
is there any way to make a mud hole like that
that is some straight up rough shit, wheres this at?
Whats your opinion on Cats? Ive never ridden a Can Am so i cant say anything on them.
was wondering if the new itp mega mayhams would be a good tire??? and has anybody tried them out yet???
what is all modded on the mud pros ?
both can-am's stuck look's good on them
@TheAbbaustin Because the bogs are on the trails....so there are lots of dry trail to rip fast on....got to protect your mellon
where is this?
what was teh tempature that day?
I wish yamaha or honda would come out with some big cc competitive machines. I think they would take alot of sale from the big two. I feel most people around my area buy can ams and polaris because they have the most power but they would rather own a yamaha with more power than a rotax. Just my .02. Your vids are awesome, i watch every single one, keep em coming
I agree. The Grizzly 700s are still really strong machines though. Especially with I/E/Tune. Even my old Grizzly 660 still has a lot of oomph.
@@FlawleZ31 an RMax powered grizzly would be an absolute freak. I don’t know what these manufacturers are thinking.
Canadian Trails look AWSOME lol
where are the headlights on that mud pro 700
@ostacruiser does he break any axles with 31s
@ostacruiser what does skeg mean?
well, that belt is history.
@zackattack1379 short for Muskeg, it's the type of mud we have around here
Y don't they lock the diff? Or can they?
@ostacruiser have u broke any axles
Damn. Outlaw2's are heavy. How long has she had them on? Make sure you or her seals everything properly before she goes in deep water.
is that Renagade stuck back there
my wife owns a 2011 mud pro 700 with outlaw2s on it..its goes through anything due to the clearance..but other than that dont expect it to win any races..she wants to get a 1000 but im kinda hesitent
@weprosproductions Yes, in this video, It's by far the other way around in most every other hole...lol
what a horrible terrain! lol I like mud, but that's insane. Cool vid and place to ride man.
@MrSpeedLover14 Everyone in this vid runs stock axles, actually I can't think of anyone that rides with us that doesn't run stockers, just keep the lifts to 2"s or under and stockers will treat you fine
ostacrusier can you make a video of you mudding or just your bike being shown?
I can remember when I was a kid I would dream of having one of the quads and if I ever got one I would never try to destroy it like these guys are doing
maybe it doesnt hold up on normal models, but if you have a mud pro 2011+, they beefed it up for the stock 28" tires
awesome vids, where abouts is this, im gonna say Alberta or Ontario...
@bluesnature1 yes....lol...I was the last one to go so it was really stirred up...lol. I need two cameras so someone else can video....lol
That is truly a bad mud hole. That stuff is where you can shut someones mouth about how good their atv is.
What ever happened to that the first, green cat?
@dale1998 Yes a 1000MP and a 700MP
@zr2onthego It's cause 3 Canned Hams already broke trail and are sitting 200 yards ahead at the end of the hole....lol. Search Modded CanAms Shredding Skeg vid was taken 5 minutes before this vid
31 skinnys seem to work pretty well on a cat running 28 in outlaw2s but missing out on the clearance an the seem to dig if not careful
@studdgage Yes, 31" Skinnies
It would have been the shit if you recorded this in 3D with all that mud flyin towards ya. Good job not letting the camera get hit. 0:56
@bluesnature1 ya, he broke a few for sure
Hey do the cats drive in low gear or high ???
always low gear when mudding
+ostacruiser so Arctic cats are better?
Fearless_Gamer 17. arctic cat is not better then can am.
@drillin4mo 40mins North of Prince Albert
and this is what my camp looks like
ArcticCat vs Can Am 2:0 :)
where no stock tire has been before =)
@MrEaglesfootball55 To a point, put the same rider on a 420 Honda and a 1000 Outlander and see who gets further in a mud pit. I agree that there could be two similarly set up machines and a good rider can take it places a poor rider could never match
He did tape the Artic cats and if you want Can ams look at the people stuck
@quadracer1243 big ass ruts? lol the CanAms have such crappy ground clearence those Cats should have walked right through their, they have like 5 inches of extra ground clearence over the Canams.....Cats don't got the power :(
@aw6959 now you're mad....lol....I have never had a machine leave me in the bush or not start....It's called maintanance....
@hondarubiconowner Women troubles...lol...had to sell it, not sure where it ended up
waiting for local minnesota bog to thaw got some nasty holes, not as bad as that though
@mudpro102 makes the sld not slip.....
look at the can am renegade, that fucking thing is swamped. lol
