Love this guide! One of the best guides of yours that is related to adc. Played against Draven/Rakan as Tristana/Pyke just a few hours later after watching this video and won lane pretty hard, thank you a lot! I also found that the way DL traded in this game works for me on basically any adc when I'm in a weaker lane.

Blitz played better, and if draven would be as good as dl then they would win
Would be useless if you don't understand what would be the best action. A Thresh may either throw a bad Lantern, or throw a good one. If you can't discern it and are cocky, you would most likely just ignore the lantern and stay under tower
It's really good to see you're taking feedbacks into account. Breaking it down for both sides really helps us to understand as we are able to see both what Dl did good and what draven did bad.
I thought the bigger question here is, how to jungle with singed in high elo

Doesnt matter. If you freeze against a Draven lane the become super vulnerable to ganks. Unless your jungler is silver or below u should get the gasnk you want and pickup a freekill. And even if he doesnt, if you try to secure cs at 2 items kaisa outscales draven, so what he teaches in this videos is to correctly play arround your strenghts, and abuse that if they mess up.

Just remember the enemy is just as bad as your teammates, if you know you're not good then just stay in lane to get experience and preserve your health just in case they somehow fuck up

ryze is a broken cfhampion early game if you know how to play it. Idk why it has such a bad winrate, the champ is actually overtuned like hell.

Super important video, patience is something a lot of players don't realize the effectiveness of. There are ADCs or Supports who around something like 9:10 in this video, would start to tilt and type at their bot lane partner, potentially flaming or just otherwise trying to force or expect something they shouldn't. This is why you have to know lane match-ups, and know how and when you can win without killing your lane opponent.

So your objective with wave management is to have the minion wave crash into the tower when you know the enemy is backing so that it pushes to your tower by the time you're back?

Learning champions strengths and weaknesses, Power spikes, and matchups is the first step. For bot lane in simple terms is 1. dont play to the enemy win condition. 2 farm. 3 play to your win condition. The order is very important. Once you learn the basic win conditions you can refine and improve each step like they do is this video
so here the draven wants to get a kill early on to cash in on his passive and blitz is really good at securing kills

I have the perfect strategy against Draven:
Pick Annie Support. Every time Draven goes for CS, poke with Q. When you hit a stun, turn on E and land your W for some more harass. This will really annoy him, since he simply cannot attack you without taking damage himself, and you get to load out your whole damage combo.

@@RepliesMuted I agree with the point that he did a really good job on Worlds but he admitted he was mistaken not as a player but as a shotcaller as he's always been doing it in a selfish way which allows him to carry against weaker opponents... But when it comes to laning against players like deft and mata he couldn't focus on both laning and the shotcalling. I'm pretty sure tl will change their shotcalling style along with their roster in the upcoming split.

Yeah legit. If I want to play hypercarry I just ban that shit. It's too risky and I don't trust my support to be on the same page with me about freezing or they just straight up int the Draven anyway so no. I don't want that.

Having a thresh really helps. Me and my friend were duo mf thresh against a draven morgana bot lane with comet morgana. We played super safe and this often gets morg and draven players frustrated as they are desperate to get the kills and the adoration stacks so will make reckless plays. You will go behind in farm but tbh it's better to get first kill on draven later on in the lane phase when u can all in well rather than try to all in him early which gives up a kill and means you get anowballed and lose the game. If draven does early he loses a lot kore gold so can also be snowballed on in the lane phase however it is dangerous to 1v1 him unless you are playing a skirmisher adc like lucian or vayne who can take him easily when ahead. Thresh is key in this matchup cause he needs to bait the black shields and then use his flay and hook to force draven to drop axes.

I really like this idea concept about helping players with guides about bad matchups, however when doublelift shouldve clearly been out of the game at 2:46, the enemy draven messed up and didnt just auto kaisa where he instead auto'd thresh, or even just backing off after the massive health lead. Like pause the video at 2:53 and anyone answer me why draven didnt just auto attack doublelift here. I wanna become a super lane dominant player and love playing for laning phase but its hard knowing that this probably wouldnt even be a video if draven and blitz backed off after the huge health lead or he just focused the priority target after kaisa walked back in while draven still had both summoners and a 200 ish HP lead. Its probably a lot to ask for but i would really enjoy a high level challenger guide where the enemy doesnt make that big of a mistake and its a bad match-up. I do respect all the time u put into this video and it is helpful to some players but to me it wasnt really

@@blank3764 still look the moment when kaisa starts to hit the q, draven was so close to a minion it could easily hit both and split the dmg, but holy this positioning from doublelift was just godlike, tbh i think he could have finished blitz if he would have flashed forward onto him to dodge the camille to get a double early on
Yeah, Doublelift himself didn't do shit this entire video. It was his team that did everything, Thresh got half of Dravens health at level 1, then Draven came to just suicide. They should add that Mission 1 should always be "Have your team carry you because your role is dogshit"
I think it's appropriate in the context of an adc-focused lesson. While the support did a lot of work that game, it's unwise to reinforce the mentality that the adc is useless. You'd rather have a decent adc to carry as a support than a dogshit one (that may also flame you when they fail because they think it's your job to win them lane, since "ad is useless").
Dl didnt even do anything to win the game, the enemies just hard trolled until he got 3 kills and was unstoppable

Why didn't Draven flash auto for the kill? It would have forced out heal under ignite and gotten him closer to blitz and further from thresh.
because thresh could still hook him and he would lose his flash
flash is too important to be blowing as an adc just to make the other adc "blow" a summ. Remember there is a jg that will punish you 100% guaranteed. Also dont forget the supp.

1st reason is that blitz n Draven mess up alot
the 1st kill is draven fault on not respect the minions damage n thresh damage with ignite
the tower dive is why the heck blitz use ignite on kaisa in tower range with thresh can flay U? when U clearly can't use Q or E on the Kaisa (ignite target)
the 2nd reason is Doublelift respect the damage come from draven so he play safe and not throwing random kills for Draven
cause he knows even if U get 2 kills, draven get 1 he can still on a same lvl of gold and items most of the time cause of Draven's passive

Interesting how a high elo draven could be so sloppy in his wave control. If D3 players in EUW know this shit, why doesnt a challenger NA draven? This guide is just showing how to win against an inting (or at least much lower skill level) opponent. What is one supposed to do when the draven doesn't litterally int? As you said Draven has the advantage at all stages of laning phase, so if he plays it right (like, not dieing lvl 1, and denying minions when he can) what can a Kaisa actually do?
