I am really enjoying these stories. Each one last about the same time as it takes to smoke a good cigar. So I sit on the back porch enjoying a good whiskey and a good cigar and listen to a new story. Takes me back to how it must have been before the tv.
In 1977 I was 8-9 yrs old and being English I'd never heard of this brilliant series that yrs later wud keep me happy for many yrs with their encapsulating stories. Thank you to u for uploading these radio gems that never grow old and i think are still relevant to today's world!!
These are the best. I got started with old time radio on Xm with the radio classics channel. But I discovered I only enjoy the suspense/ scary type shows. Westerns too but everything else is just ehh. Being able to listen to the exact genre I enjoy for 12 hours 😯 that’s pretty great

Well I've been awake for quite a while, it was 2:am after watching the news Russians, invading the Ukraine, something or other. Horrible news so I started looking for something else to to erase the bitter news. I found this I looked at the horror pictures from the olden times and then, I saw Barnabas from dark shadows, then I saw a cat, then I saw the TV was really playing a movie, and then one eye on the left bottom corner, I love this!!! thank you for your imagination. What's the movie playing on the TV? I cannot figure it out.

I used to listen to this when I was 7-8 yrs old. My sister played it in the radio every Sunday night.
