Just got one of these for my series x and really enjoying it so far! Upgraded from just a cheap 50” 4K TV that’s a few years old now and the difference is night and day!

About two years ago I got three of these monitors to have ultra-wide for my Sim games and FPS shooters and I love it it's great and not that much ghosting at all at 144 Hz
What does ghosting mean? keep hearing people talk about it when it comes to monitors. Also would you recommend this monitor?
@@HJC02 ghosting is is like looking at a bright light closing your eyes look away from the light open your eyes and move your head back and forth you'll see the image trill until you stop your head and then the image catches up to the actual image I'm guessing that's the best way to put it to describe it and yeah I recommended for gaming like I love mine I have three of them and now I have ultra-wide playing games like Star citizen Microsoft flight simulator or project cars 2 and even war thunder it just looks so good 👍 and at 144 Hertz the response time and all that is good not bad at all and also the 1000.R curved you do notice it unlike other curved so yeah it has more of a curve monitors to it but yeah I recommend getting them for the price to it's not bad hope that helped you

@@xclusiive8397 yeah they would work pretty good for what you want to do with them and like I said for the price for what you're getting it's really not bad it's not like you're paying an arm and a leg and then finding out that there's a lot of s*** that you don't like with it me it's my personal opinion but I pretty much love them and yeah they don't have the RGB in the back but that shit I don't care about four monitors

Interested in buying it and just want to ask, are the pixels on the screen discernible? For example my current monitor is the aoc c27g2ze and the pixels are visible from a mile away.
My one is a 1440p so it’s very difficult to see the pixels unless you get real close to the display.
Are these good for pc too?

I am debating between the G5 and the 34 inch Koorui Curved. Any issues with the monitor or dead pixels?
@@TheReayning well not any issues for me but I did recommend it to my friend and it did have a dead pixel on the bottom of the screen but he got it replaced with the same model and he had no issues, so he just got a bad sample. If you don’t want to do that in case it happens then go with the other monitor but I must say it’s a great monitor in my opinion. Hope this helps.

I haven’t changed much except turning the brightness up and just keeping it at the max resolution and refresh rate.
Can you get 120 fps and 1440p on ps5 without 2.1 hdmi and with this monitor
If you only have a hdmi 2.0 cable it should be fine but the monitor comes with the right cable anyway.

@@liamsavage9 hey so it does do 1440p at 120 fps, but it depends on what game you’re going to play and if it supports it. Overall it’s been a great investment, good size and it looks crisp. HDR is a little odd to use as you may have to optimize it to your liking but all in all good for the price

The monitor has hdmi that supports the resolution so you just need to connect an hdmi to both.

@@ImpetusPreps yes it supports 1440p at 120hz but only with certain games. Eg high demand games wouldn’t work as it’s too hard to get that frame rate that high at that resolution. But normal not too heavy games should be fine and should run smoothly at 1440p 120hz. You just have to check what games support the high refresh rate.

@@ImpetusPreps well the one I have is the 32 inch version but I can notice some pixels here and there, but when I tried my friends 1440p 27 inch I personally liked it better. I would say get the 27 inch because I think that 4K is best for the 32 inch. I also recommend going to a store that has one on demo and looking at the differences before you buy.

@@Rkanium What model was your IPS monitor? I kinda don't like VA anymore because of the smearing and ghosting(depends on the panel), and high quality VA panels are basically the same price as an IPS panel where I live. I've heard IPS glows can be a huge problem, is that why you returned it?
@@TheRealOne2077 Sorry for the late reply. The ones I had was the LG Ultragear 27 QHD, Terrible, glows badly, came with dead pixels, screen flickers I returned that immediately. stayed with my VA monitor for a time then had to change that old monitor for a new IPS 'Asus Tuf VG27AQ3A. It is good to me and does not glow that bad. one issue is that the black tend to be somehow darker than usual. So if there is anything I recommend you to do is make sure to check any monitor you want in a real store DO not blind buy like I did with the LG ones. you gonna even find VA monitors than glow more than IPS and so the opposite.

You can use both but it depends on what your plugging it into, for a pc its best to use the display port but consoles only have hdmi.

All of there panels are QHD (1440p) and just different refresh rates, if you want a monitor that has a 4K panel then youll need to spend a lot more then the prices of the g5. After a quick google search for the cheapest 4K Samsung monitor I found the odyssey neo g85b wich is not cheep but is on sale. Hope that this helps you out.

@@MohamedLight well it does let me use 4K but it’s only 60hz so it probably uses that port for 1440p hdmi at 144hz instead of 60.
