Last clip. Kill Kitty says she doesn't know anything, but proceeds to argue. Why is it that some riders feel they have the right to violate the law in the name of "being safe." Then when called on their shit, it's "he did something worse than we did." Yes, not justified in blocking traffic, smashing mirrors, popping wheelies or speeding through traffic.
The guy who hit the bike, hard to say what actually happened since we didn't see it. Sorry riders. you have to play by the same rules as everyone else.
This is like the second one of these clips I've seen lately. You can't just block a road off like you're somebody.
Then you as a driver had better be prepared to see riders passing you to catch up to the group ride since you could not be patient for 2 to 3 minutes

That clip of a driver intentionally hitting a biker is so old. Regardless, bikers need to just stop holding up traffic in group rides like that. If your group ride is so large that you need special traffic considerations then get the proper permits and police escorts. Barring that, STFU when drivers attempt to go around you.
The cop handled it incorrectly in that he was definitely biased against the motorcyclist but he was correct on the application of the law as far as I know. Reckless or careless driving for the motorcycle and possibly assault or assault and battery on the car driver. I didn't see that but that seems to be what the other motorcyclists are claiming.
It doesn't appear to me ( I could be wrong) that the driver is intentionally hitting the rider but more of trying to get around him. In fairness just because we ride what gives us the right to hold up traffic and stop in the middle of the road so that our buddies can join.
The video also shows that Kill Kitty is still at quite a distance before she and her self entitled buddies join. You can also see that there's already another vehicle already waiting behind the rider before the rider is hit. How long are the drivers supposed to wait? Till the riders feel that they decide to give permission to move?
Being a biker as well as a driver i have witnessed multiple times riders holding up the road for 10 + minutes so that their buddies can join.
The original video has also been removed so i don't think Kill Kitty wants to be honest and give the full story maybe because they had been holding up the traffic for a long time and it might go against them in court. Don't know the full story.
If you look closely, you don't actually see the car hit the biker, because the Tahoe is right in front of where the biker was blocking traffic, and the cameraperson kept moving around. Also, everyone is talking at once, so you really can't make out what's being said. For all we know, the car driver could have honked, yelled or gestured at the biker and the biker swiveled on his bike, then lost balance and fell over. If that was the only video they could present to the cop, then the he can't make any determination from that. The cop actually laid it all out pretty well and gave the bikers the choice of what they wanted to do and explained what each choice would mean. If they wanted the other guy cited or charged, then the cop would need to follow the letter of the law and cite the bikers too for their infractions that contributed to the event. So it was either everyone gets cited or nobody gets cited. You can't have it only your way.
Any driver/rider should know, you don't stop on the blind side of a hill. Video doesn't show enough of what happened to determine who's at fault. Cop explained it perfectly. If I'd been the cop, I would've ticketed both parties and let them debate it in court.

That last clip, biker was an idiot to block traffic. You are not allow to block traffic to keep your group together. They could of all pulled to the side shoulder and once everyone is there and a large enough gap to proceed safely.
bikers aren't cops who can stop traffic flow just so his /her friends can merge or join............. can cars do the same? nope.... and i ride a bike too.

1:48 - The first lane change wasn't close. But the second one was. A rational rider would think that probably isn't the best time to be splitting. Sure, traffic is moving slow, but it is still moving and actually speeding up.

Wow, this cop just schooled a bunch of people. I don’t agree with him, however, traffic rules probably support his argument. Good to know going forward.
As a rider, I would have accepted the traffic ticket and pressed charges of assault, because its up to a judge to lay assign justice. Worst case scenario, I’ll get my license suspended. Been there, done that, and I’ll still keep riding.

That last clip is just like these stop oil protesters or whatever you call them. He had it coming. Full stop! I ride myself and shit like this just doesn't fly. Bikers get ticked off by protesters blocking the road but then they try do the same?

In the last clip, the officer is correct. You can't stop traffic for a group of motorcycles, you can't stop traffic just because no matter what you are driving, there has to be a clear cut emergency reason for doing so.... I get it, but what does the law say. What the law says is end of. I agree it doesn't give the driver the right to hit the riders bike. Either take the ticket, and then take it to court, and or let the insurance companies hash it out....

The cop was justified in that situation where the rider was attempting to obstruct traffic. These scenarios aren't complex, so it's baffling why people struggle to grasp the rules

The clip at the end in which the car pulled into the bike has been around. I'm a long time rider and an attorney, and the officer is correct. Instead of arguing with the cop, quit while you are ahead.
So as an attorney you think two wrongs make a right? and it's ok to drive at someone because he's blocking the road? Wow, that cop was in the wrong, although he maybe should have dealt with both instances separately.

The cop was right in that situation where the rider is trying to hold up traffic. These are not complicated scenarios so it’s really hard to understand why people can’t understand the rules.
Nop, the cop just wanted to have a quiet and relaxed shift! You cant separate those two situations. Yes, its not allowed to block trafic, but wtf, lets say his motorcycle just stopped and didnt start, but to intentionally hit and run, its already a crime. Its not în the movie, but that biker was ON the motorcycle when that idiot hit him.

It is hard to watch the entire video for the simple reason of STOP blaming drivers when you are blowing past the speed limit....I myself used to drive like a total idiot when compared to the speed limit...NOT ONCE did I freak out on someone when I was hauling a$$....Bikes are hard enough to see on a good day doing the speed limit....then add the crazy speed...YOU ARE INVISIBLE basically.....I will not fault a biker for speeding as that is the sole reason I bought the bikes I did.......I will fault him when he gets hit because of the speed....

Let's say I stopped in the road for a pedestrian and a driver decided they didn't want to wait so they deliberately drove into me. Would I get a ticket for obstructing traffic? It's the same thing. The cop is not correct. That was a deliberate assault which should be investigated regardless of the biker. Cop isn't doing his job right.
A pedestrian has the right of way, making you stopping completely legal. Obstruction of traffic is when you don't have a legitimate reason to hold up traffic. And keeping your group together is not a legitimate reason.

The cop is completely correct. Both legally and morally. I dont stop for idiots blocking the lane, Ill go around them. The biker started it, and the cop was right. Either shut your mouth or you both get tickets. The biker was the only reason this happened, and its entirely on him.
You must be the rider whose bike ended in the road...cop is right... rider is wrong. That's why the rider shut up and left not pressing charges.
Last cop is an ass he can't issue a ticket for what he didn't see, he can issue a summons for an assault report . The investigation will determine charges regardless if he was in the road or not the driver stopped/slowed then proceeded forward and with intent to do harm hit the biker. Text book felonious assault

As for the other issue, there is no proof of intent. No DA will pick that up.
That’s a law suit a cop CANNOT give you extra charges because you want to press charges
