Bismarck resigned under pressure to avoid being fired. Wilhelm II was willing to make Bismarck head of foreign affairs in recognition of Bismarck's achievements in foreign affairs, Bismarck wanted nothing less than to be Chancellor.
During the failed resolutions of 1848, it was Friedrich Wilhelm IV who was the King of Prussia. Not his Brother Wilhelm I who officially became King in 1861.
This is a great video, Mr. Videntis. This video is very educational, and I love how it is animated. I had some interesting alternate history ideas related to this topic, and one is original. What if King Frederick William IV of Prussia had accepted the title of German Emperor of the Frankfurt Parilmeant? How would the German Empire be different in 1848 instead of the German Empire in 1871? Frederick William IV would become Kaiser Frederick I of Germany and could modernize Germany by giving them opportunities to accept the offer. What if Kaiser Frederick III of Germany had survived Lung Cancer and ruled the German Empire instead of his son, Kaiser Wilhelm II? The difference between Frederick III and Kaiser Wilhelm II. Frederick III wanted to reform Germany through liberal ideals and model Germany as a constitutional monarchy similar to the United Kingdom. Wihileim II cared for the German people, especially the workers and the middle class, but he maintained control as the head of state. How things be different for Germany with Frederick III had lived longer and had made Germany a constitutional monarchy, and would the Hohenzollern still be the royal family of Germany today, similar to the Windsors? What if Sultan Bayezid I ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bayezid_I) Wasn't defeated in the Battle of Ankara and invaded the Timurid Empire with the defeat of Timur? With Bayezid's victory and annexation of the Timurid Empire, the Ottomans would have had a far better chance of conquering the Byzantine Empire way earlier, and Bayezid's victory meant no Ottoman Interregnum (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ottoman_Interregnum). Which of these ideas you like best, Mr. Videntis? And which three of them are your favorite and why? Do you have any comments, thoughts, and opinions about these ideas? But this an excellent video, my friend, and please keep up the great work and spread the knowledge; remember, you are worthy of respect for making these awesome videos, and always believe in yourself and look on the brighter side!
The answer about Frankfurt Congress is simple. How many divisions they got? How many kings and aristocrats was here? ( almost none). Who was ready to give up his kingdom/duchy to Prussian king for free? In this case Prussia would face same destiny as kingdom Sardinia, invading it's neighbors, fighting of Austria and it's allies... Defeated in the end with Russian help ( Holly alliance was still active).

One reason why France eagerly declared war on Prussia waa because they thought that the southern German states would join forces with him as there was enmity between the south German states and Prussia, sadly for Napoleon the 3rd, national pride compelled the south German states to ally with Prussia

May I answer to that? Partially it was necessary, France had some influence over South Germany, also Bavaria in previous years was a traditional ally of France ( like in Napoleonic wars).
