Well it would have gone out of business in a week, or maybe turned into a crack den if super hans was in charge. But yee it would have been pretty amusing to watch it crash and burn.

I love how Hans is just as lazy as Jeremy is, but he can articulate his philosophy well enough to make "keep an old washing machine in a pub" sound oddly plausible.

Hans' idea would probably have worked in London in 2013 when hipsterism was at its peak. Freak 'em out with a washing machine (so quirky and random!), then hit 'em with an organic scrumpy.
Peep show actually predicted the future with that cider joke- that horrible shite is absolutely everywhere now and its hard to even get a decent beer anymore.
Honestly you don't need market research for a pub, you open it and the English will come
@@Wildonnor Virtually every pub near where I live had been closed down or changed hands half a dozen times in my 30 odd year life. Seems to me that running a successful pub is a rather difficult thing these days.

Most pub owners made the mistake of not buying the building while the profits were good and now the dwindling customers and rent kills any chance they have of making the business work now - jez and Hans had a pretty good chance of making this one work in 2003 when people were still out drinking every night.
