I can confirm the art and writing one. before I met my girlfriend I was having big writer's block with my stories but once we became friends she gave me ideas and even helped me write ideas down. After being in a bad relationship two years ago I found someone wayyyy better for me and honestly I'm really happy about that. I followed my heart and I'm happy about that too. The only time I thought I felt like I was in love was probably just obsession....but it was a serious case of one-itus. 20 years later, I still think about that girl. I've had plenty of girlfriends, been married and soon to be divorced. At this point love is an ideal that I'm still insecure about. The closest I came to that love was literally at a dinner party with my friends. Two French sisters were there...one of which took me by surprise chemically speaking. I wrote her a letter in French and had it delivered the next day. Never heard from her. I still think about that girl too.

Love helps me exist better. Like, I don't feel the same crushing loneliness I felt before, I'm less stressed and and I'm always developing and finding new perspectives through the conversations with my partner. It's easy to talk and discuss with him about things for hours on end. He's intelligent, helpful and empathetic. I feel really lucky to have him. Hope I can see him again soon.
Being a 1st year student in college has recently been stressful for me. Essays and assignments had me overworked. Luckily, today I was able to workout with my boyfriend. The exercise made me feel better. But after working out, I had some time to simply just be with him. He took all my stress away. My headache was gone 😍
I got my heart broken almost a year ago now. The person that shattered it still holds it. It hurts so much, but I’d still do anything for him because he means the world to me. Love is emotion and sometimes that triggers issues. Connecting is powerful when 2 people are soul mates but issues can get in the way. A true relationship based on romantic love is always complicated. In the long run, people either choose to make it work or they don't, however loyalty decides that fate.

I've never fallen in love with anyone in my 18 years of life, I've never been with anyone, I've never kissed a boy, never flirted with anyone. But I really want to fall in love with someone and that person loves me. I am not a person who would go out with a person just because I am attracted to him, I want to go out with someone that I fall in love with and that he is really in love with me because I am not the type of person that someone would go out with, I am not pretty or charismatic, I have anger attacks and I yell a lot and I have low self-esteem. Sometimes I think that I not made to love and I know that I am still young but I really would like to experience love.
I'm a guy and it took me 26 years to find real love before that I was the same as you (minus the anger issues) it'll happen, but you may need to work for it. Maybe if I played the field or tried a dating app it would of come sooner after many failures, but now I have a girlfriend who I was friends then best friends with first. Some advice: You could join some sort of group that shares hobbies with you (even online), having a shared hobby is a great way to bond. Self improvement will help raise your self esteem. We need love in our lives. It is fundamental. The lack of love is slowly killing me. I am sick since some year and since last June I am hospitalised because of a severe depression. Psych2Go It’s been years. I had driven eight hours up to the university where my fiancé transferred to and immediately when I got there she threw the ring back at me and told me it was over. In my language we have two different words - one denotes love (truly), the other one the feeling, changes in brain chemistry, butterflies in the stomach and everything else that happens in your brain and body when you are in love. Let's say it would be the difference between (truly) loving and being *in* love. The latter one, along with attachment, is what is addictive. But love isn't because there are no butterflies and some other stuff. Ofc, there are still certain feelings from being *in* love, but it's far from being addictive. Also, what you feel from the very beginning is peace. Ofc, this is hard to know and understand if you haven't actually found love, but were just *in* love. Some guy (sorry, forgot the name, I think in an older Hindi man) has a great talk here on Yt on love vs. attachment. Just to note, with true love you still have to work for the relationship (in case anyone read this as something from a fairytale where everything is perfect)

I know love is a strong word, but I'm completely sure I love this one guy and I always will. My prince may not know this, but I'm praying for him every day and I live in hope will talk again in the future.
Love is most intense when you're a teen or in your early 20s and it's mostly because of hormones and stuff, after 30 when you look back at those sleepless nights lamenting your lost love it seems kinda silly even the one you used to crave every single moment of your waking moments seems silly because we all change and so does our idea of a perfect partner.

You maybe only have a tiny chance to "win" by playing the game. You can NOT POSSIBLY "win" if you don't at least try. We make courageous decisions to step out and get dinged up all the time, both physically and psychologically. We try new hobbies, skills, crafts, and sports... AND we fall down, trip ourselves up on simple mistakes, make fools of ourselves doing things "the hard way" before we've learned what "the easy way" is. We meet new and interesting people, try to make friends, and say dumb things, foul up the words for what we wanted to say, and sometimes just openly offend some of them... Sometimes we mistake a person for being "really cool" and only find out later that they're jerks... Nothing goes "right" the first time out of the gate, BUT if you don't try that first time out of the gate and screw it up hopeless, you can't learn from it. You can't "do better" the next time you try. The "next time" (if you don't try this time) will also become "the first time out of the gate"... Look, I don't know you. I don't really know this situation, nor how much experience you've had (if any)... I can honestly tell you that chances are that you'll go through a series of relationships before you find that "perfect person" and connect and end up in a real lifelong LOVE relationship. That's normal. It's completely par for the course, tears and midnight ice cream by the buckets, and curled up nights in front of Rom-Com's balling your eyes out when the guy and girl finally get their collective heads out of their asses and realize they must actually Love each other... etc... ALL of it. It's also completely normal to screw up more relationships (or pretty much anything) than you actually positively get directly Right in your life. It's called being human. I take it on, rather the same as I've taken on all my arts and crafts skills... from woodworking to painting and drawing, even leather-craft (if you want to talk Expensive)... Dive in and DO the project. Screw this first time up, so you can look back and learn from the missteps and mistakes, and then DO the next one... You'll screw up a little bit less every time. In relationships with REAL human beings, we tend to be a pretty forgiving bunch. Screwing up and keeping a relationship is also kinda par for the course... SO there IS the very real chance you could connect with this person and they connect right back... It COULD last a lifetime... You've GOT to be brave in this life. Insanity isn't exactly required... BUT in my experience, a little of it can SURE AS HELL help! ;o)

The only time I thought I felt like I was in love was probably just obsession....but it was a serious case of one-itus. 20 years later, I still think about that girl. I've had plenty of girlfriends, been married and soon to be divorced. At this point love is an ideal that I'm still insecure about. The closest I came to that love was literally at a dinner party with my friends. Two French sisters were there...one of which took me by surprise chemically speaking. I wrote her a letter in French and had it delivered the next day. Never heard from her. I still think about that girl too.

Like, I don't feel the same crushing loneliness I felt before, I'm less stressed and and I'm always developing and finding new perspectives through the conversations with my partner. I've never fallen in love with anyone in my 18 years of life, I've never been with anyone, I've never kissed a boy, never flirted with anyone. But I really want to fall in love with someone and that person loves me. I am not a person who would go out with a person just because I am attracted to him, I want to go out with someone that I fall in love with and that he is really in love with me because I am not the type of person that someone would go out with, I am not pretty or charismatic, I have anger attacks and I yell a lot and I have low self-esteem. Sometimes I think that I not made to love and I know that I am still young but I really would like to experience love.
I'm a guy and it took me 26 years to find real love before that I was the same as you (minus the anger issues) it'll happen, but you may need to work for it. Maybe if I played the field or tried a dating app it would of come sooner after many failures, but now I have a girlfriend who I was friends then best friends with first. I met her in such a strange place 😅 love is a magical thing when it comes you'll know it and it may not come immeadiately.
Some advice:
You could join some sort of group that shares hobbies with you (even online), having a shared hobby is a great way to bond.
Self improvement will help raise your self esteem.
Fix your anger issues nobody wants to be yelled at.
Finally be mindful of predators I'd hate to see you get hurt.

Let's say it would be the difference between (truly) loving and being *in* love. The latter one, along with attachment, is what is addictive. But love isn't because there are no butterflies and some other stuff. Ofc, there are still certain feelings from being *in* love, but it's far from being addictive. Also, what you feel from the very beginning is peace.

The girl that I’m in love with for 9 months, hurt me so bad, she lied, hid important stuff from me, she cheated, but whenever I talk with her, and I hear her beautiful voice, everything goes, my depression, my pain. I smile and I’m the happiest person when she’s around. We talk about anything and everything, When she says nice words to me I feel so loved. but when shes not around, I’m back to being depressed and feeling pain. I can’t eat I can’t sleep I can’t focus I can’t enjoy things that I once used too. Every night I dream of her cheating on me it’s a nightmare. I hate it! It’s like she’s the only thing that can cure me, she hurts me, but also heals me.

@@luisaabreu4028 I know it shouldn’t depend on one person but when you’re in love that one person becomes the only thing you can think of, the only person that you will miss, the only person that you will crave connection. With all day and everyday.

I know love is a strong word, but I'm completely sure I love this one guy and I always will. My prince may not know this, but I'm praying for him every day and I live in hope will talk again in the future.
Love is most intense when you're a teen or in your early 20s and it's mostly because of hormones and stuff, after 30 when you look back at those sleepless nights lamenting your lost love it seems kinda silly even the one you used to crave every single moment of your waking moments seems silly because we all change and so does our idea of a perfect partner.
For number 1,I think love does not hurt but rejection,quarrel,disappointment,etc...does.Because when we are being loved,we feel something good(pleasure) but when the one that gives us that feeling will stop loving us,it hurts us.It only hurts when someone will leave us or hurt us.

You maybe only have a tiny chance to "win" by playing the game. You can NOT POSSIBLY "win" if you don't at least try.
We make courageous decisions to step out and get dinged up all the time, both physically and psychologically. We try new hobbies, skills, crafts, and sports... AND we fall down, trip ourselves up on simple mistakes, make fools of ourselves doing things "the hard way" before we've learned what "the easy way" is. We meet new and interesting people, try to make friends, and say dumb things, foul up the words for what we wanted to say, and sometimes just openly offend some of them... Sometimes we mistake a person for being "really cool" and only find out later that they're jerks...
Nothing goes "right" the first time out of the gate, BUT if you don't try that first time out of the gate and screw it up hopeless, you can't learn from it. You can't "do better" the next time you try. The "next time" (if you don't try this time) will also become "the first time out of the gate"...
Look, I don't know you. I don't really know this situation, nor how much experience you've had (if any)... I can honestly tell you that chances are that you'll go through a series of relationships before you find that "perfect person" and connect and end up in a real lifelong LOVE relationship. That's normal. It's completely par for the course, tears and midnight ice cream by the buckets, and curled up nights in front of Rom-Com's balling your eyes out when the guy and girl finally get their collective heads out of their asses and realize they must actually Love each other... etc... ALL of it. It's also completely normal to screw up more relationships (or pretty much anything) than you actually positively get directly Right in your life. It's called being human.
I take it on, rather the same as I've taken on all my arts and crafts skills... from woodworking to painting and drawing, even leather-craft (if you want to talk Expensive)... Dive in and DO the project. Screw this first time up, so you can look back and learn from the missteps and mistakes, and then DO the next one... You'll screw up a little bit less every time.
In relationships with REAL human beings, we tend to be a pretty forgiving bunch. Screwing up and keeping a relationship is also kinda par for the course... SO there IS the very real chance you could connect with this person and they connect right back... It COULD last a lifetime... You've GOT to be brave in this life.
Insanity isn't exactly required... BUT in my experience, a little of it can SURE AS HELL help! ;o)

Idk about you, but life is funny. I thought I didn’t want love either. I hated it so much. But then came along one awkward dude who was too kind for his own good. Then suprise!! I found out what love feels like. He healed me in a way and now I can’t get enough of him. Life might throw you a curve ball like that.
Galaxi you’re always going to think that if you’re not open to it. Being afraid of getting hurt is understandable though. People thinking it’s “rosy” is the reason why people get hurt. You have to go into it realistically. And see the other person for who they are, not who you imagine them to be. Because people WILL fail you. I hope you find peace.
