Powered by a 455hp LT1 6.2L V8, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, this 1LE (track package) Camaro is one of the last big and fast sports cars.
The 2SS trim comes with all the electronic goodies like a LCD rearview mirror, blind spot monitoring, park assist, heated and cooled seats, a heated steering wheel, and forward collision avoidance.
The 1LE package adds staggered 20x10 and 20x11 wheels clad in Goodyear Supercar3 tires with 6-piston front and 4-piston rear brembo brakes. It also integrates magnetic ride control, GM's magic electronic rear differential, and Recaro sports seats inside.

There is no better performance car for under $50k. For that money you get things that others charge extra for like magnetic ride, huge Brembo brakes, 20" forged wheels, active exhaust and Recaro seats. Option that in a 2024 Mustang and you are past $60k and you get a garbage MT82 transmission. I got a preowned 2022 SS 1LE with 3100 miles and the Tremec 6 speed for $50k out the door with a full ceramic coating. Best performance car I've ever owned and now that Camaro production has ended I feel lucky to have one.
Great review. Just picked up a 18 2ss 1LE with 5k miles on it. I got it with the brighter hyper blue metallic paint. Such a great car to drive around town and looks so damn good. Glad to get one before they go extinct
I have one 2019 with 620hp NA . It's amazing how good these cars drive
I picked up a new 23 SS 1LE in August. Absolutely love mine, sadly its put up for winter. I also drive that same stretch of I75!
Keep driving it, why put it away for winter. It’s just a Camaro
Mine was 54k. So it's parked in my garage. Until spring.

Well I put mine away. The range rover has 4WD. I will use that.
Have a 22 2ss 1le manual with only 4700 miles on it. Good weather weekend and track car. Just installed a corsa npp axleback on it last weekend. Took me 4 hours to do it right. Sounds really good.

I have the '18, 2ss in hot red. I love the hood. Looks like she has nostrils on her. Very distinctive, too bad they eliminated that feature after '18. Hope you have the airpump with the goop for any flats, I have that in mine for just in case. Although she is a 8 speed auto, I can still use the paddles to " shift gears" in M mode. Also this applies in auto mode somewhat. Also I like the sunroof. It brightens the interior up quite a lot.And yes I put in the oil catch can being a DI engine. They do work nicely.😅😅😅❤❤
Enjoyed the review. I have the exact same set up, left it stock. Only thing I added was the tint, PPF on the entire front end & ceramic on the remainder. Save the manuals!

I saw a drag race between one of these and a dark horse and the camero won both times the dark horse was a stick and the camero was auto, not sure if that made the difference but all in all the Camero is a nice sports car 👍🏿

Technically could get one now but I'm not trying to have as massive a payment as I would now. Can't afford to put much down.
Nice video. I should make a video on my '23 2SS. I opted against the 1LE because the brakes and tires are so expensive. For the track, the 1LE is probably awesome but my will be a street car!
I have the SS I could find during my search. A 2018 "Hot Red" one owner 1SS 6mt with 11k. Purchased this year in April. But you have the car I WANT! The Riverside Blue 2SS 1LE. That color. Those wheels, and that rear spoiler.
I don't care if it is a 1LE but I very much do want the 1LE rims and spoiler. I would obviously want the 1LE if I could get it. Everything you said is correct. I ❤️ rev matching, the NPP exhaust is a must have, and mine has a sunroof...a nice touch and other than NPP is the only other major available option on a 1SS. I installed the front thick Lexan Splitter and rear Diffuser with LED lighting in the diffuser instead of reflectors. Also I put in Masimoto LED tailights w/sequential turn signals. Pioneer TS-WX1210A 12" sub to make up for the lack of the bose system...but I installed 2 Bose door speakers and applied the aluminum Bose badges. Now I notice that the stock stereo sounds pretty good; as adding my 350w rms sub and 2 Bose door speakers solved every problem. Legally, it is a now a Bose system😅!
I had the calipers gone through & electrostatically painted "high temp red" OEM primer, paint, Brembo badging, and then 3 coats of clear applied professionally. That is all in preparation of the new 1LE OEM rims. But that isn't all.
I had to get the red stitched knee pads, which along with the red seat belts make the interior pop as part of the "redline package".
I had my windows tinted. With 30% on my rear window and 35% on the side windows I dont want VA inspection issues. The last 2 touches is the Lloyd's OEM custom floor mats, and the tinted plate covers with screw caps. 2 of them on the back. You can find both of my 6th gen cars, including my (traded in) Riverside Blue V6 and my current SS on Reddit.

Good video! For me, proper mirror, adjustment goes along way. Also because I lean my seat way back, I actually bought a seating pad that raises me 2 to 3 inches and improves visibility significantly.
This car owns the blue color
There are two blues, Riverside (this car) and Rapid (a very bright/ligther blue), both are great. Selecting this as a daily driver meant that I wanted something a little less "loud" than the Rapid Blue though.
Thought it was hyper metallic
@@JustCarPeopleThingsriverside is closer to admiral blue c7 color. I’d do the white center stripe and red has marks like a grand sport. The c4 and c7 are gorgeous
I got my 23 2SS convertible (also manual) and I love it. Didn’t get the 1 le because I will never go to the track plus a brake job cost a fortune with the 1 le. Enjoy the car, it was meant to be driven!

You can easily get it the verbal in cold temperatures. Just rev high decelerate them blip the throttle on deceleration.
Bad ass I got a 2021 in sunglo... red manual bought it in 2022 with 2000 miles on it had all the aftermarket parts from the factory side skirts and all. Needs nothing

Just took delivery of my 24 2ss 1le and I couldn't agree more with your review. I got the red seatbelts and copper free brakes too. Question - did you flush out the rear diff fluid at 500-1000miles? I've read on the forums that some people recommend that
Yes, did the diff and oil both at 500 (oil was dealer included and the diff was DIY). I also did an oil change at 5k and will do the diff again at 15k. I’d probably go 10k if you’re doing hardcore track work. GM OEM fluid works great for it, no need for anything fancy.

@@aureliorodriguez5040 If they have one then yea ur good ,But they aren't ordering one and any orders that are in are done also ,I ordered 5 cars actually 6 if u count the 2023 I ordered that never got accepted ,Luckily 1 of all of them came thru ,definitely not an easy car to get.If they have one go and snatch it up ,you will love it,but ordering one or any orders that were put in aren't happening
Hey I just picked up a 24 2ss 1le but I don’t have the forward car feature is it something I have to turn on?
The forward collision avoidance warning? I’m pretty sure it’s defaulted on and the distance is controlled by a button on the steering wheel.
Do u have pdr in ur 1LE ? If u do thats y u don't have that,it gets deleted if u get the pdr option

What is your opinion about daily driving an ss though like MPG wise?
Consistently 21-22mpg combined. Premium fuel only. So it’s not bad for what it is. We saw as high as 27mpg on a road trip of pure highway. I’ve seen as low as 14-15mpg when driving hard.

I know this is apples and oranges but it's worth asking. I also own an ap1 s2000. I was thinking of jumping from my s2k to one of these. I know they are different but, if you had to compare them in the sense of being drivers cars is the 1le a worthy upgrade?
We’ve got both too - I have an 03. They’re very different experiences. They both feel special, the s2000 is a different feel with the top down experience and the screaming motor. The Camaro is more planted, torque everywhere, and the electronic nannies mean you can be a real jerk without binning the car. I’d drive a 1LE and see if you like it.
I may sell my 1LE one day, but you’ll pry my S2000 from my cold, dead hands.

Great video! I just sold my 2023 Mustang Mach 1, to get a 2024 Camaro 2SS 6MT in Riptide Blue. Not a 1LE car, but has most 1LE options- Magneride, dual mode exhaust and the big Copper Free Brakes. Although the Mach 1 was a great car, the chassis on the Camaro is that much better. Plus the low end torque is great. Can you please tell me what kind of phone holder you have? Also, can you please let me know what brand/type of mudflaps/mudguards you have? Thank you!

Camaro production ended in December of 2023 with half the 2024 model year completed. There is no replacement for the Camaro and no word on a future Camaro model. GM has hinted at a four door EV Camaro, but we all know that's not really a Camaro and never will be.

I just picked up my 2024 2SS 1LE M6 red seatbelts and performance data recorder,i originally ordered a 23 but the dealer lied about having an allocation and it never happened so before 24 ordering even opened i had 5 cars ordered in different dealerships ready to be put in as soon as ordering opened, Luckily 1 of the 5 was accepted by GM ,I absolutely Love this car
Also id like to ad my impressions, I was shocked with how i had zero issues as far as visibility, Also I used the rearview mirror for 5 min and honestly i dont like it i prefer the mirror (but I dont use rear cameras or any of this stuff ever) I never warmed up to it and just dont like it ,100% mirrors for me ,I actually think visibility is very good in this car as long as ur mirrors are set correctly...I wasnt expecting that being all i heard how bad it was in these cars so i was pleasantly surprised.
