Just picked up a 2016 1SS with auto trans and magnetic ride and dual mode exhaust. This car is a BEAST. Remove the restrictive airbox and this car will be sub 4 sec 0-60 and sub 12 sec 1/4 mile.
Great informative review...... The MRC suspension mode button also controls the exhaust settings as you change the suspension settings...but...you also can adjust the exhaust totally separate whenever you want to and leave the ride in whichever mode you like. Just some additional information for you guys but you're doing an excellent job Mike, keep the reviews coming.
I watch this video almost every day. Thank you for uploading this beautiful video for my viewing pleasure. I'm not far from purchasing one of these, considering getting one brand new customized exactly how I want it, but I will see how much these are going to sell for in about a years time. Thanks again for your time in making this video!
The car is great looking no doubt about that. What concerns me are those blind spots towards the back of the rear window, hopefully the indicators on the side mirrors will help. Other than that the car is its great as I said. If you can. Do a test drive during the night. City and county rds as well would like to see the headlights in action. Good job.
I just purchase this year model of Camaro 2SS and not fully familiar with all the interior functions but thanks to your review, now I know.. Again thank you very much..
+KeMz Lol, Yeah... it's just the outside of the car had a thin layer of dirt from being transported. Most of the time it is not noticeable but I mention it just in case.
+KeMz no its not it had some debris on the carpet and the exterior had a coat of dust you probably need to watch the video on a higher resolution screen
After watching your review of the pre face lift 5th gen I like this one better. Great review. Definitely will be looking at a manual 2016 2SS after my 99 C5 hardtop is paid off.
now when i go get my camaro i dont have to ask the salesperson how to use everything cuz this guy just showed us most of the things .. one thing u forgot is the wifi hotspot
I just ordered a new camaro ss and this video is just what I needed to prepare me for its use as opposed to the 10 second mumbled disinformation you get from a salesman, thank you SIR...
I know this video had some value to you :) Please throw a few bucks in the tip jar to help me continue to make great content. Click here: www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=QU4BMMSE297KS
I'm more of a Mustang guy but I have to say that the new Camaro is pretty nice! I especially love the holographic speedometer. I hope the next generation Stangs come with that feature. Great vid man
The car also comes with run flat tires inflated with nitrogen instead of air. I wonder why no one mentions this in their reviews.By the way ,the car does do not come with a spare tire only a inflation kit.Of course, there is not a compartment or space for a spare tire if you decide to add one.
Pdubb Pdubb no one mentions it cause it's not true lol. the tires are NOT filled with nitrogen and you DONT get an inflator kit in the car. this car uses run flat tires so you don't get anything with it...no spare...jack...inflator..nothing. HTH
Mansa X. Same here. I’ve had a 2014 lt with the V6, a 2017 lt V6 and now a 2017 2SS. Love the car so much that when I’m away from home on business I watch these videos on my spare time reminding me what awaits when I get back home. On a side note I guess I miss my family to. LOL.
Was going back and forth between a 650i or 2SS. Really like the luxury and style of the Beemer but I'm heading to look at one of these tomorrow morning...might leave with it...
Mychal_ Corleone I'm not one to assume your wealth but no need to spend so much on a 6 and continue to shell out for bmw maintenance prices when the ss will eat it for breakfast and be affordable.
I actually went To Jud Kuhn and looked at this very car car today. VERY SWEET RIDE!!! I built one on the Chevy site and the only difference between the one I built and this one are the interior/exterior colors and the stripes. I built a Silver with blue rally stripes. The only thing I would have changed on this car would be to replace the single black stripe for the Silver rally stripes, but that wouldn't be a deal breaker. Too bad I've only had my current ride for 8 months. If i was near even value on trade verses trade in allowance, I would have bought it. Oh well. 2 - 2 1/2 years and counting I guess. :'( Ive owned a '94 Z28, '98 Z28 and an '01 WS6 Trans Am. The 2016 Camaro SS sits and feels much better than any of those. The seats are softer yet hold you in place. The car is also MUCH quieter inside than those older ones. I didn't test drive it because of the traffic at the time I was at the dealership. Rush hour evening traffic. Just sitting in it, I could tell the car would ride smoother. The feels of the steering wheel also lets me know the car would be tighter starring my my older ones. One day soon, I do plan to drive one of these at a dealership just so I can judge exactly how much different and better they do ride, handle and perform over my older ones. Primarily ride and handle. If it out handles my '98, it will be a fantastic car. I had almost $5k in chases and suspension work on that car. It out handled all the law enforcement package versions of the older Camaro Z28's. For the price of these new SS's, it's ashamed that Chevrolet didn't give adjustable lumbar on the driver and/or passenger seats. My '01 WS^ Trans Am had that and that was 15 years ago and on a car that was $15k less than this one. Maybe Chevy will get their act together on that soon. Although the 2016 SS's come with the Brembo 4 piston brake system, for a measly $3k more, you can get the high performance brake system from the factory which has the 6 piston calipers instead. I don't think I would need that. Not as long as I have an emergency brake... hehehe ;)
+MikesCarInfo Here it says 6 PISTON. media.chevrolet.com/media/us/en/chevrolet/news.detail.html/content/Pages/news/us/en/2015/oct/sema/1002-gen-six-camaro.html

Great review of a very nice car!:) you should do one of a 2016 Ford Mustang!.. Also you should get into luxury car reviews, Like Mercedes Benz, Audi, Maserati, BMW, and maybe even Lamborghini!:) lol
+OhhEhmGeeQUAKER They will have dropped by then... As it stands the new Camaro hasn't taken off in sales yet and aren't much better in sales than the 2015 models... If sales remain the same I could see dealers hitting incentives probably before August.

When??
+Aaron Fridley
I literally came to the comments to see who else saw that
I didnt see that😫😫😫
Nice video! This car looks like it advanced about 30 years from the 2011 SS I had.
Yeah, the 2016 model would be the oldest model I'd buy if I were to purchase one.
I'm glad you did this review, it looks great. Good job!

I have a 2014 SS Camaro and love it. Love the 16 too. I thought the brake calipers were 6 PISTON in front?
+Daxx Green The window sticker says "4 piston front and rear" 31:27
+MikesCarInfo I wasn't sure. I don't remember where I saw or heard that. Peace.
+MikesCarInfo Here it says 6 PISTON.

When you are going to make the night version video can you show how much leg space you have in the back if you pull the front seats, thanks.
+BoowmanTeck I knew I was forgetting something :)
Thanks!
+MikesCarInfo Heh, no worries by the way do you know what is the fuel tank capacity?
+BoowmanTeck I don't know. The Chevy website doesn't even have that info yet.
+MikesCarInfo I know the 2015 version has 19 gallons and I assume the 2016 has the same amount but thought you would know.
This car is waesome

Carlos Rodriguez we're black we' always find a way
brandino auditore frfr
@@DRAKEJUN1OR I know this is late but my mom is like 5 feet and she used to own one so i always was in the backseat it's not bad really
Hopefully chevy recovers from the ats platform mistake.... Hate to see camaro go away again :(
Any packages added? I noticed u have dual performance exhaust
can you make a video of the 2016 Chevy Silverado
i currently have a 2015 camaro 2SS I wonder if it's worth upgrading to a 16. The only major difference seems to be power and of course styling.
Jeremy Esters totally different class of features in the 16 doc!
Jeremy Esters 2016 is on the same platform as the cadillac ats and cts
how much do you think the price will drop to in august FOR A 2SS??
+greenshot321 I doubt the price will drop at all... if anything it may go up.
MikesCarInfo i mean my friend got a new 2015 5.0 when it came out for around 45,000 but now after 7 months they are selling for around 32,000
+greenshot321 5.0? i think you're talking about Mustangs, Camaro's are 6.2L. 2015 Camaro 2ss are around 38-41k still
+OhhEhmGeeQUAKER They will have dropped by then... As it stands the new Camaro hasn't taken off in sales yet and aren't much better in sales than the 2015 models... If sales remain the same I could see dealers hitting incentives probably before August.
Texarmageddon sounds good lol its way to much right now
The driver's s seat does not recline on the 1SS. Does it recline on the 8 way power seats on the 2SS?
Amzing Car Me And My wife Just boughy One
I can't decide a fully loaded 2ss or a base c7
If your the only one that's gunna be in it with maybe a brother/sister or girlfriend/boyfriend then you should get the vette (c7) but if you wanna take some friends somewhere then ss. Vette is less practical then camaro. If you got a family ss. If not vette all the way
are you going to do the 2016 ford mustang gt
+Deandre Roberson Yes... I have a night video of a GT but I plan to make an in-depth video soon.
ua-cam.com/video/E_xBh1MJLaU/v-deo.html
How about doing the C7
