Due to the Coronavirus I've had a number of hunters contact me desperate for something to view at this time of isolation. Remember, it is a good time to clean out those rifles and go through your gear to be ready for the season. Also for you bow hunters, experiment with paper tuning your bow and arrows to get as accurate as you can be. I know it's hard for us keen hunters at a time like this, especially at to peak of the fallow and red deer rut, and if you don't have private property to isolate and hunt on, but hang in there, do the right thing and prepare for the future hunts, it will all be over soon enough. I hope you enjoy this episode.
Wow ! I feel for you, so close. That’s hunting for you but at you have something to show for your attempts and no one telling you your talking shit. Great vid.
That was absolutely unreal mate! Well done, the way you captured that moment and all the emotions that went with it was amazing. And although the stag didnt go down, im sure we'd all agree that was a successful hunt! So enjoyable to watch. Keep up the videos, the more the merrier 👌
Great video mate Couldn’t believe the stag at the wallow. Your heart must’ve been thumping! I appreciate the effort you went to editing your frustrations, makes it easier to watch with young ears nearby. Enjoying your channel. Keep em coming, when you can ✌🏼
Thanks mate, yep I always make my videos viewable for kids, I know how much they love it. Yes sitting there with a stag that big 7 m away for that long is mind-blowing. Just couldn't believe it happened.
I don't know much about Sambar. I have been told they don't really have a particular rut time. What time of year seems to be the best chance at hard antler stags in the Vic high country?
Hi mate, love the videos. Is there any chance you could do a walk through on your set up? If not could you let me know the brand and model of your GPS holder?
Hey mate thanks for watching and glad to hear you enjoy the videos. I will do a bag drop when I eventually get time to do it, i'm guessing the GPS holder you mean is the pocket attachment on my front shoulder strap, I picked that up in Alaska about 10 years ago so I could not tell you where to buy one, but a lot of my gear I used to get from the USA back then. I remember the same stuff being for sale on Cabelas and Basspro 'Redhead' Brand, so you can look there, but be aware that their shipping prices are ridiculous.

Awesome footage mate. Cheers.
Great episode. The way you told the story made me feel like I was there, very intense.
Glad you said that as it's hard to portray the real intensity of the moment.
@@solosambarhunter The top down shot showing micro movements to inch yourself into position really made the scene.
that's FRIGN INSANE
Brilliant mate well done
