Does the Converter for Vic3 not work properly for multiplayer or why did you decide to continue the Mega Campaign in Vic2? I'm genuinely curious, I played a Mega Campaign with Vic3 a few months ago and didn't notice any issues.
I like vic 2 for what it was, but it's so much worse than vic 3

tbf india is still set on becoming a superpower in the future. When? No clue. Though experts on geo politics still agree it is set on becoming one.
India will be considered a super power the minute all their soldiers wear at least the same uniform and their food isn’t stirred with shit covered hands. I mean I’m no china fan but you should seriously see the huge difference in troop quality in their border clashes. The Chinese have everything standardized, same uniform, same weapons solid command chain. The Indians looks like they raided an army surplus and airsoft emporium, then hit up the museum to get the guns. They seriously are look more like roaming bandits with a loose chain of command.

The ai automatically gets -1000 opinion if you own any cores, and him owning one single basque province in eu4 converted to spain having it as a core because of converter adding cores based on culture group. and woila

In episode "Japanesse Blitzkrieg" Swimmy tauntingly remarked to Bo (Japan), "he's gonna have no game impact, he'll take China in like late 1940"
Now, did he mean whole of China or a large part of it, because I'm in 1941 and couldn't push because of supply, and I don't want to be bullied by Swimmy. SWIMMY, about how bad I am at the game

Air, artillery, trucks is honestly all you need in china. Collab makes them cap faster
You can get all of China before WW2 usually starts in single player by using CAS and good infantry to push, but I've seen in mp that this gets delayed to avoid spiking WT too much.
For vanilla: build 3 collabs, on the frontline build up planning bonus and rush to the war, build divisions, send marines to get the ports on the right and then rush to the town at the river. Later you keep pushing deeper to take the second supply hub by the river, then stop. Then you invade around shanghai and take nanjing, then link up the armies. Use garrisons with support arti to hold and line arti units to push.
Link up the army and control the whole coast, keep doing invasions. By the time youre at wuhan you should be good.
Are we talking singleplayer or multiplayer? because it's really not that hard in singleplayer 😅

You are probably going to be managing about 10 units or slightly more in the game and when you get into a battle the side with more men (usually) wins. And so you're sitting there for a good minute just watching both armies slowly die. Truly riveting gameplay.

I enjoyed the Vicky 2 videos a lot and Vicky 3 is also great so I'm just curious.
You can see the low FPS in vid. Add on the immense micro wars require and how the lack of control on their economies meant that most of them couldn't industrialise...It's just not suited for multiplayer or being a, well, game. It's more of a sim@@kostakole9876

If Vic 3 was just Vic2 with the QOL stuff we've seen in PDX games since the game came out, like a macro builder, army templates etc, then it would be undeniably a better game than Vic3 ( I mean, it already is, but it would be even further ahead)
I’ll be honest here Lambert, a lot of us wanted to blow our brains out returning to the single shared market and the number 1 gp can just keep everyone hostage by shift clicking factories and building forts.

On the group I play paradox games we had rules for Vicky 2, where if you were occupied by rebels and had a government change during a war you had to unconditionally surrender your wars, or if you surrender for an offer then the war immediately stops but you could take back your surrender if the other player tries to get more, just to stop game ruining and death waring.
Also I don't understand why the "coalitions" to golden, were they just because he was golden or because he was strong? He didn't seem strong from what I watched on the eu4 game or this game
golden never did diplomacy with anyone except phillip's iran (and only because he's from his friend group irl), while being super aggressive and expanding in all players directions except iran, while willin to deathwar over it + schafer is a noob in eu4 so everyone else tried to safeguard him.

converter for eu4 to vic2 has been worked on for a decade, vic3 has been released only a year ago. If you're a programmer, you can contribute to it being fleshed out faster
