I know someone who worked with her, apparently she killed one of them once, but they covered it up. Also, the widow agreed to not report it to the police, because she was thrilled to see the back of him.
Jane was Brilliant!! I loved her reply when a LATE arriver was denied boarding and he complained that they were called Easyject and this was not EASY.. and she said "Well it is easy if you get here on time!"
Another awesome interview! People like Jane are the unsung heroes of the travel industry and it was refreshing to hear her tell her story without sugar coating the realities that come with careers in travel. I live in the United States, so I've never seen Airline, but I will certainly seek it out online. Keep those great interviews coming, gentlemen !
Thanks so much for watching Cynthia and for your kind comment. Yes, be sure to check out the episodes - there are loads of full episodes available on UA-cam. I promise we have more interviews on the way :)
She’s an absolute legend. She’s the epitome of my childhood / teen years. Love her, loved the show. Can’t believe they didn’t get paid that’s insanity! 😮
I am obsessed with the Airline Series. I have watched literally everything on UA-cam and will do over and over again. Jane is an absolute LEGEND and Katrina is too. Hopefully they are keeping well 🙏🏼🫶🏼🫂🥰
Had such a laugh with Jane when I worked as crew for easyjet...she's such a lovely, kind, funny person and I miss her since I left in 2006...feels like a lifetime ago, but best years of my life
I always liked Jane Boulton on Airline. She always took no nonsense from idiot passengers and said it how it was. Not forgetting her memorable quotes! Example: “It is easy if you get here on time.”
She still makes her way into our lives even now. Two days ago I took a screenshot of her and sent it to my best friend when he was asking what kind of day I was having. We love Jane.
I've been I'm aviation for 3 years now and the drive to do it was because of Jane and airline. I entered the industry just as we were coming out of covid which was incredibly tough. But I have channeled Jane's energy sometimes so I got a lot to thank het for!
There was one episode I remember where Jane hadn’t been authorized to switch a plane and was painstakingly awaiting a response from control and ultimately she just did it herself knowing she could get into so much trouble. Jane for PM!
I started watching Airline 2 years ago on UA-cam. Jane and Katrina were two of my absolute favorites!! But loved all of them. I cannot believe they didn’t get paid for it!! I still watch it now, sometimes I find episodes I haven’t seen yet. So glad I stumbled upon Airline. ♥️♥️
Nice to have a catch up with Jane. She had some great moments. Although I still think that the best bit was up at Liverpool. Leanne and Sarah with the French cat.
I loved the airline series Jane's off the cuff comments, where the best after working at an airport for 2 years, her comments are very relatable and even more funny
Jane was a great used to love the way she dealt with mouthy passengers also the scouse lass surname Dempsey her dry scouse accent and attitude was brilliant
I bet Jane gets top customer service when going away, and rightly so as she was brilliant and very professional herself, a true bench mark to what should be expected!
Absolutely brilliant episode, everything what Jane says about the filming is completely true. Loved watching airlines back in the day, love watching excerpts on UA-cam. I appeared on a a couple of series's or cruise with stelios, in the small yellow ship, it was great to hear your discuss on it.. stelios was fab to work for.
Airlines need the likes of “Janes” to function. Not only to they work hard, they know their stuff, they think well and have good judgement (and they also are a great laugh). I’m pleased to have worked with a few “Janes” and I have always followed their advice and always back them.
“Come fly with me…da da daaa” loved that programme and this was great interview! Bit sneaky though of lwt and easyJet to get them to sign disclaimers and never earn a penny! Filming all year for 6 episodes, just wouldn’t happen now! That was joy of it unscripted. Glad Katrina is doing well. Great insight, Jeremy from airport next?
I absolutely loved this. I loved airline as a kid and while I can’t pin it, I can’t help but think if this show was the catalyst for my now career in customer services, not in aviation sadly but I do think it planted a seed. (Also favourite moment, how long have we got?! 😅)
Airline worked as advertising because I remember my first flight to London was with Easyjet and the staff were great really friendly, and to this day they still are.
Ive always flown with Easy Jet and have never had a problem 🙂. Once i flew with BA and it was an awful experience. My parents were treated awfully by Ryanair as well Great interview im binge watching Airline as well 😅
Thanks for watching! I know, we were shocked too. Considering she was such a big part of the show, you would have thought she would have been paid something!
Sometimes, customers need some cold, hard truths. On the show, people regularly turn up the airport late and then berate the staff for it like it's their fault. To paraphrase, I remember a customer saying something like "it's not so easy-jet after all" and Jane replied, "It's easy if you get here on time." Brilliant 😂😂
She's right about everything becoming impersonal. Had a similar experience in the cinema, even had to buy the popcorn through the self serve machine. It definitely takes some of the magic away
The amazing beautiful Jane , wouldn't watch that show normally but she was the hook, one of the hottest women on TV back then . This was proper fly in the wall TV and was a great watch. Hope your well Jane , great interview No tv company would spend a year now doing 6 episodes .
Aaah Jane Boulton. The amount of pleasure she brought to lads of the 90s 😄 It was all about her. A shame she didn't gain anything financially from the program. I'm sure Jane could start a youtube channel vlogging her life, and people would watch.
I've always thought that Jane & the team were practically saints. I was in high value sales myself at the time and I can remember thinking how very well they kept their composure when so many others might well have lost it completely, (I know i came close myself before now ... slightly more times than Jane for sure).
Remember watching Jane on the programme, I thought she was 'hot' .... (She still is now!) Hello Jane, glad you are well! (If you are reading the comments)
That was a tough gig and that’s rotten that staff were not paid for this. These days those disgusting passengers would be arrested by police and staff would not be required to deal with them. There is no tolerance for aggression from passengers today, as it should be and it is the professional thing for staff to have them removed. This is an airport and they won’t even allow 105ml of liquid in the cabin, less so a potentially troublesome passenger.
i watched a majority of the episodes and all i can say is the likes of Jane and her colleagues showed incredible restraint, i could not be in a job that deals with members of the public, i have a fearsome Temper and when i let rip people know about it, so dealing with axxhole passengers would be a no no for me
Great interview lads, Jane and the show were brilliant. Sorry I have to say I prefer Ryanair over EasyJet; flown with both of them in the last couple of years and Ryanair aircraft are better - more comfortable and slightly more space. Didn’t have an issue with overhead baggage when we last flew with them.
I always wondered if the passengers had to give consent for their arguments to be shown on tv? If I lost it with the check in person I wouldn’t want that airing on tv! Maybe there was some incentive for them to

One of my all time favourites was "Susie has tried to find a more sympathetic ear...instead she's found Jane Boulton" 😂
Hahaha! This is one of our favourite quotes too :)
I will FOREVER love that quote 😂
I remember that too 😂
The best quote in Airline
“We can’t board you from a coffee shop” 😂😂😂
Customer “You’re called easyjet, you’re meant to make it easy”
Jane “it is easy if you get here on time” 🤣
Absolutely love Jane and how strong she was in front of rude passengers, very inspiring.
She was the star of the show for me 😊 she would be a great colleague
I know someone who worked with her, apparently she killed one of them once, but they covered it up. Also, the widow agreed to not report it to the police, because she was thrilled to see the back of him.

It is insanity. ITV must have been rubbing their hands together!
i loved it when she called a passanger a ‘Tosser’ under her breath 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Oh wow! Look at her! I never thought about her up until now , she just stopped existing when the series ended in my world.
Thanks for watching :)
Brilliant to see Jane again, used to love the show
Thanks for watching, Paul!

Jane is an icon. Great to see she is still Jane from Airline, what a gal.
I always liked Jane Boulton on Airline. She always took no nonsense from idiot passengers and said it how it was. Not forgetting her memorable quotes! Example: “It is easy if you get here on time.”
That is one of our favourites. Another is “it’s not a bus you see, that’s the problem” 🤣

Great interview! 🎉
Jane's a legend!
Such a brilliant interview. Its baffling to me that she was never paid for her time on the show, she really was the face of the entire thing.
This was great, good to see you again Jane. I really enjoyed this video! Watching from Michigan.
Omg I absolutely loved her on the show! She is such a icon 😂
We know, and she wasn't paid a penny :O
@@sailawaymagI was honestly shocked to hear that she wasn’t paid, she carried the show imo 😭
I work at the airport myself for WHSmith. 10 years general retail and 3 years at the airport. Awesome interview. Loved it xx
Thanks for watching :)
Loved her 'take no sh*t' attitude on the show, and still a good looking smiling, clearly contented lady today. Thanks Jane, thanks lads.

Thanks for watching Shane! She is a lovely woman and was a pleasure to interview - very genuine and down to earth!
Jane was my favourite and my best scene with her was whenever she would shut down passengers that thought they could try push her boundaries.
Thanks for watching :)
I miss her so much and all the others. That time was gold age, everything was so easy and simple Big love to Jane ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
TV just isn't the same these days!
She cracks me up - love it. Flown with EJ numerous times and have never had an issue
EJ, said no one ever

She’s brilliant. I saw her on a Come Dine With Me and loved it. I’d love her to be my mum 👍🏻❤️

What an absolute legend, Stelios needs to give her money and lifetime free flights

Stelios is just a shareholder now, sadly!

I was in high value sales myself at the time and I can remember thinking how very well they kept their composure when so many others might well have lost it completely, (I know i came close myself before now ... slightly more times than Jane for sure).

She was a really nice lady
9/11 was covered on Airline.. I well remember poor Leo almost being lynched when he announced all flights were grounded
