Another awesome interview! People like Jane are the unsung heroes of the travel industry and it was refreshing to hear her tell her story without sugar coating the realities that come with careers in travel. I live in the United States, so I've never seen Airline, but I will certainly seek it out online. Keep those great interviews coming, gentlemen !
Thanks so much for watching Cynthia and for your kind comment. Yes, be sure to check out the episodes - there are loads of full episodes available on UA-cam. I promise we have more interviews on the way :)
Nice to have a catch up with Jane. She had some great moments. Although I still think that the best bit was up at Liverpool. Leanne and Sarah with the French cat.
She’s an absolute legend. She’s the epitome of my childhood / teen years. Love her, loved the show. Can’t believe they didn’t get paid that’s insanity! 😮
Had such a laugh with Jane when I worked as crew for easyjet...she's such a lovely, kind, funny person and I miss her since I left in 2006...feels like a lifetime ago, but best years of my life
I loved the airline series Jane's off the cuff comments, where the best after working at an airport for 2 years, her comments are very relatable and even more funny
“Come fly with me…da da daaa” loved that programme and this was great interview! Bit sneaky though of lwt and easyJet to get them to sign disclaimers and never earn a penny! Filming all year for 6 episodes, just wouldn’t happen now! That was joy of it unscripted. Glad Katrina is doing well. Great insight, Jeremy from airport next?
I always liked Jane Boulton on Airline. She always took no nonsense from idiot passengers and said it how it was. Not forgetting her memorable quotes! Example: “It is easy if you get here on time.”
Thanks for watching! I know, we were shocked too. Considering she was such a big part of the show, you would have thought she would have been paid something!
I absolutely loved this. I loved airline as a kid and while I can’t pin it, I can’t help but think if this show was the catalyst for my now career in customer services, not in aviation sadly but I do think it planted a seed. (Also favourite moment, how long have we got?! 😅)
There was one episode I remember where Jane hadn’t been authorized to switch a plane and was painstakingly awaiting a response from control and ultimately she just did it herself knowing she could get into so much trouble. Jane for PM!
The amazing beautiful Jane , wouldn't watch that show normally but she was the hook, one of the hottest women on TV back then . This was proper fly in the wall TV and was a great watch. Hope your well Jane , great interview No tv company would spend a year now doing 6 episodes .
Remember watching Jane on the programme, I thought she was 'hot' .... (She still is now!) Hello Jane, glad you are well! (If you are reading the comments)
That was a tough gig and that’s rotten that staff were not paid for this. These days those disgusting passengers would be arrested by police and staff would not be required to deal with them. There is no tolerance for aggression from passengers today, as it should be and it is the professional thing for staff to have them removed. This is an airport and they won’t even allow 105ml of liquid in the cabin, less so a potentially troublesome passenger.
It’s all about profits….when I started flying in 1981 we had a smoke with pax. Then transferred to international flights QF. Less crew on board - service not as good as it used to be. Older sir crafts we were the entertainment-we knew customer service-these days crew done have time to chat. Now I travel by ship..love cruising
Thanks for the show - loved Jane in Airline (Im a retired airline employee). BUT my attention kept going to your misaligned brick wallpaper - the rows of bricks dont line up. Please fix.
Just read the HEARTBREAKING story of Katrina and her battle with cancer on no less than EIGHT occasions....you could see that see was feisty and a fighter, well done girl!

Brilliant to see Jane again, used to love the show
Thanks for watching, Paul!
Oh wow! Look at her! I never thought about her up until now , she just stopped existing when the series ended in my world.
Thanks for watching :)
Brilliant. Used to love Airline and Jane was my favourite 😊
She was definitely our favourite too :)
I loved the scenes with Jane being really sassy back to angry customers 😀
They were TV GOLD!
One of my all time favourites was "Susie has tried to find a more sympathetic ear...instead she's found Jane Boulton" 😂
Hahaha! This is one of our favourite quotes too :)
I will FOREVER love that quote 😂
I remember that too 😂

Omg I absolutely loved her on the show! She is such a icon 😂
We know, and she wasn't paid a penny :O

It is insanity. ITV must have been rubbing their hands together!
Jane was brilliant!!!
Thanks for watching!

I miss her so much and all the others. That time was gold age, everything was so easy and simple Big love to Jane ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
TV just isn't the same these days!
Great interview with a face from the past used to watch that series all the time Keep it up guys you’re doing great
Thanks for watching Cliff, we still watch airline now and laugh at the stuff Jane comes out with!
I loved the airline series Jane's off the cuff comments, where the best after working at an airport for 2 years, her comments are very relatable and even more funny
Thanks for watching Shane! She is a lovely woman and was a pleasure to interview - very genuine and down to earth!

That is one of our favourites. Another is “it’s not a bus you see, that’s the problem” 🤣
I remember Jane! I am sorry they did not pay her. Not even a nominal amount! That is bad. Thank you for the video!
Thanks for watching! I know, we were shocked too. Considering she was such a big part of the show, you would have thought she would have been paid something!

Its not a bus!! Brilliant xx
She got away with so much sass!
What an absolute legend, Stelios needs to give her money and lifetime free flights
Agreed! Airline wouldn't have been the same without Jane Boulton!
she's lovely x
She really is. Very down to Earth and totally genuine. We're so glad we got to meet her

I used to see Jane in a local wine bar, during her days with Easyjet.
i had long delay with eazyjet many years and yeasr when jane was there and she was just simply great outstanf=ding
Really liked Jane and felt she told it how it was . In other words get there on time! Will always fly Easyjet and never Ryanair.
Easyjet anyday over Ryanair
Definitely. Ryanair is an absolute last resort for us!
I fancied Jane sooooooo much, she was the spitting image of a female friend of mine that I wanted to date.
Thanks for watching Neil :)

9/11 was covered on Airline.. I well remember poor Leo almost being lynched when he announced all flights were grounded
Oh really, we'll have to try and find that episode!
Yes there was an episode on it. Some staff were talking about their disbelief of passenger’s attitudes, saying that’s not our problem etc…
It’s all about profits….when I started flying in 1981 we had a smoke with pax. Then transferred to international flights QF. Less crew on board - service not as good as it used to be.

Thanks for watching! We’ll be sure to sack the decorator with immediate effect 😋
Haha! I also noticed that!
She is still gorgeous! I was a huge fan and i obviously still am. 😜🫶🏻🥰
Think we might need to start a Jane Boulton fan club!
I'd have loved Jane to be my boss on the ramp,
Where is Katrina now?
Just read the HEARTBREAKING story of Katrina and her battle with cancer on no less than EIGHT occasions....you could see that see was feisty and a fighter, well done girl!
She was on This Morning a while back, the sofa interview is on UA-cam.
Secrets? She was the equivalent of a railway station ticket checker. Not even a trolley dolly . Talk about building your part up
