Zay is right actually, yes dragon flame melts stone but it would have to do that for ages focused on the area. While instead it breathes in the middle of the cave, and if they go deep into the tunnels the dragon flame can no longer get them. This is why the war in the Stepstones is taking so long even with the OP dragons, because the crab feeder and his soldiers hide in the caves so good catch 👍
