and to those wondering why this is a thing, for me i find this useful because im on youtube dark mode and the blank space helps with not making my screen so bright (brightness makes it harder for me to sleep) Usually the white text from other comments, video recommendations, and description have visuals too bright for me and i get distracted by them easily. i find it super convenient to have my comments section open, left on this blank space so that i can sleep easier:)

My friends and I used to play a game at sleepovers where we “drew” something on each other’s backs and had to guess what it was. I totally did it for the ASMR and always wondered if it was as relaxing for my friends as it was for me, or if they did it to actually play the game hahaha

OMG, I used to have my boyfriend (now husband) do this when we were dating. Then we had three kids and each one of them also did this with me. Now my kids are all adults and teenagers and think this is weird, lol. I miss these days, lol

idk if its just me but i massively prefer darker videos, like darker light and everything just dimmed down it helps me sleep so much quicker and easier i feel like bright step ups makes me feel more awake
i try and switch it up but usually my brighter videos perform better 🤷🏼♀️
@@OceansASMR I think it’s the thumbnail, not to be shallow but I think most people click on videos of pretty girls and obviously the light shows your face more clearly! or maybe because it looks more professional and high quality! so maybe choose an image of you in the light for the thumbnail and make the video in the dark? Just a suggestion I’ll watch your videos either way I love you❤

I think the repetition was always a big part of why it was so tingly to me as a child. This was a super relaxing video like always Ocean! I think it'd be awesome if you did another like this at some point too. It reminded me a lot of when I was little 💕

Growing up we used to say “There’s an egg on your head and the yolk is dripping down” and tickle down your face, sides and back, instead of the blood gushing. Pretend to tap the top of your head and crack the egg open and dripping down your back. Brings me right back to day camp as a kid! Love it ❤

I’m from finland so this rhyme we used to do won’t be easy to translate and make it sound good but i’ll try my best. So freely translated it goes something like this:
4 dots in your back, knife splits it in half. Blood gushing, blood gushing. Crack an egg, it drizzles down. Spiders crawling, a cat is scratching, a horse is kicking, dogs are biting, fleas are scurrying.
Original:
